I love this product!! Makes my hair silky soft and I have noticed a lot less breakage. It smells absolutely devine and I enjoy washing my hair. My hair has been tangle free and I have been getting great compliments on how my hair is looking. My hair is easier to style and stays soft.

Tips: You don't need much, a little goes a long way.
*My hair type* Very long, on the dry side, dyed, a bit frizzy, fine but quite a bit of it. I also tend to get hair breakage and flyaways.
*My conditioner background* I generally just buy whatever is cheapest or on special when I am at the supermarket. Usually garnier, dove etc. I have looked at this loreal range for years, even way back when it used to sell at farmers for about $20 a bottle, but I've never purchased it before as,yeah, I just go for the cheap ones!
I also usually only wash and condition my hair once a week during winter. A few reasons for that, to keep the colour lasting longer if it is freshly dyed, and cause it does take me a bit longer in the shower when I have to wash it so not only am I cheap, I'm kind of lazy too. ;) For the sake of this trial, and because I wanted to get a really good impression of this product, I washed my hair every second day.
(I've copied this from my shampoo review, just so both reviews work in together)
*My first impressions* The packaging is fine, it stands up steadily in the shower and the actual bottle looks nice. The conditioner wasn't as thick as I was expecting, it's not runny but still quite a thin consistency. I use a wide toothed comb in the shower so I can get an even application and to do all my hair, I found I had to use twice as much conditioner as I usually would. I leave my conditioner on for a few minutes so it can soak in and do what it needs to do. My hair felt great after rinsing it out. Sometimes I have real issues combing through my wet hair but I found it so easy after this product. I did notice a lot of hair fall out the first time I used this, but now that I've been going for three weeks, the hair fall out is heaps less.
*My hair now* This really has done everything it said it would. My hair looks better and feels amazing.
Would I use this again? So yes! The only downside I really found, was that you do have to use a lot of conditioner so the bottles won't last too long. Using it for 3 weeks every second day has nearly used up the bottle for me.
Tips: Use a comb in the shower, sometimes it can be a bit hard if your shampoo has made your hair quite knotty but it really does help spread the product evenly.
I really like this product. It smells nice without smelling all fake flowery and it makes my ends feel less damaged which is a small miracle. It's also not too gloopy which means the coverage is good and doesn't take too much so it lasts pretty well. I'm a fan.
Tips: Use the Elvive conditioning spray on days when you don't wash it to keep it soft.
I was selected to try this conditioner and matching shampoo, I have thick dry hair and although I wasn't a fan of the shampoo I really liked this conditioner.
The packaging is nice and simple and the smell is awesome, not overly fruity like many other supermarket brands. This conditioner made my hair feel super soft and silky long after washing and also looked shinier as well. I began pairing it with the shampoo but after not finding the shampoo effective I paired it with my regular shampoo and definitely saw results.
Tips: Leave in for a few minutes before rinsing to allow it to really be absorbed.
The Maroon on White was a nice clean look for the conditioner bottle. I loved the scent that the conditioner left on hair, which was kind of fruity. The conditioner made my hair look and feel softer and also helped fix most of the split ends. Loved using this product.
Tips: unlike other conditioners i have tried i didn't need to use a handful each time i conditioned my hair.
This conditioner has saved my dull and frizzy dry hair, after using it for a couple of weeks now I have noticed so much difference to the way my hair looks when it dries! I never use hair dryers and let my hair dry naturally which when it use to dry would be knotty and frizzy, now its soft and looks thick and very shiny! I loved the smell, the packaging but I really didn't like the consistency of the product. First time I used it I swear half the bottle came out into my hand... I wasted a lot because it was so terribly runny. I like my conditioners being thick and this was runnier than the shampoo. A lot of the time I was worried it wasn't even in my hair. I would buy this again for myself if I couldn't find a thicker alternative by Elvive first! In the end it worked well and my hair is looking healthier and feels smoother than it has in years!
Similar to the shampoo, I really loved the smell of this conditioner. It smelt salon fresh but I couldn’t quite put my finger on the combination of smells I was getting, but whatever it was smelt good. The packaging was just like the shampoo except the bottle was the other way around. It looked good quality except I didn’t like the colour red just as a personal preference. The standard shape and size of the bottle was nothing new but it worked well and it was easy to pour out the conditioner into the palm of my hand. It felt very silky on my hands and looked similar to the shampoo consistency – white and creamy, except a little silkier. Putting this on after the shampoo (which has stripped my hair and made it feel quite rough) made it nice and smooth and silky and easier to run my fingers through my hair.
My hair is quite damaged with lots of split ends so after using the conditioner (with the shampoo) I noticed results and my hair was looking a lot healthier – especially the ends seemed to be repairing. The conditioner made my hair feel extra silky smooth and shiny with minimal fly aways but it did feel a bit thin rather than make it look fuller which it promised to do.
As with the shampoo I am overall really pleased with the conditioner and the results it has given. I would definitely use it again and recommend to friends if they were seeking advice on what to buy.
Tips: Don't use everyday otherwise it can make your hair quite greasy. Try use every second day or less.
This product was amazing! It did everything it said it would. What I loved the most was when I blow dry my hair it looks silky smooth and it doesn't look damaged at all. Have already recommended this product to friends, I know if I love it they will too
The conditioner has helped to make my hair look fuller, feels stronger and also healthier and also has helped to make my hair have more shine.
Tips: Leave in longer to get the best results
This conditioner is lovely and creamy but not so thick that it feels like a treatment or mask. It has a nice smell, nothing too strong or offensive. I smooth it through the ends of my hair first, then put any excess product gently over my roots. I find that it leaves my hair extremely soft and easy to manage. I also feel like it makes drying my hair faster and straightening my hair easier because it is so easy to manage. Love this in combination with the matching shampoo!
For reference, my hair is fine and thin and fairly heat damaged as I blow dry and straighten it every day.
Tips: Smooth a 10-20 cent sized blob through the ends of your hair only and leave it to soak in for as long as possible while you wash your face/body etc in order to get the most benefit.
