After trialling they new L'Oreal Pairs Total Repair Conditioner for the last few weeks I have decided it is not for me. The conditioner smelt great and did leave my hair feeling silkier to touch but caused an extreme amount of fluffiness to occur. The product didn't leave my hair looking fuller and I didn't notice an improvement in strength like the product stated. Overall if it wasn't for the extreme fluffiness I would maybe consider using the product again but I didn't enjoy having to tame the excess baby hairs that appeared every time I used the product.

Tips: If you had extremely dry hair this product would be a great way to increase volume, perhaps my hair was a little too soft to start with
Coming from someone who usually only uses salon products I found this to be quite good. The smell is AMAZING and lasts throughout the day. It's the type of conditioner where a little goes a long way so I didn't need to use a huge amount each time I washed my hair. I didn't notice my hair to be in any better condition after using it though. Just a small negative I noticed was that the consistency seemed a bit runny for a conditioner. Packaging is bright and bold, looks good.
Tips: I'd leave mine on a few minutes before washing out to help my hair feel softer.
I enjoyed trying this conditioner. I've been using it daily along with the shampoo for the past two weeks. It has made my hair feel super soft and silky with an added shine. My hair does look healthier however as I have very fine hair it has increased the flyaways so I've needed to use more styling products to stop it. It definitely did not make my hair fuller. I actually think it made it look and feel a bit finer. It has a lovely fragrance that is not over powering. The packaging looks nice and is very informative. Overall it's a nice conditioner that left my hair feeling soft and it added a healthy shine to it.
Tips: Could be better suited for thicker hair. Be careful when opening the bottle as it is quite runny and comes out very quickly. You only need to use a little bit.
first I should declare I am a bit of a snob and only use high end hairdresser bought shampoo and conditioner.
I used the Total repair 5 conditioner with the Total Repair 5 Shampoo. I did like this product, it smelled nice, wasn't too thick and didn't seem to weigh down my hair.
I didn't notice any change in hair strength but my hair has been shinier after using the conditioner.
Tips: Not a bad supermarket product
I felt that this conditioner had a nice enough fragrance, it did manage to re-hydrate my hair rather well. I did however find that if made my normally dry hair get oily considerably quicker than my regular conditioner so for this reason I was not the hugest fan. I feel that if I alternated between brands then I would still be able to benefit from the repair function that it offers without getting oily hair.
Tips: Use the shampoo in the same range as well so the two products can work together.
L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner is a decent supermarket branded hair product. I love the smell of it, it's typical of most of the L'Oréal hair care range. I can't quite decipher the smell but it is pleasant with a mixture of floral and fruity scents.
The consistency of the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner is creamy and lathers on easily. I used L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner every 2-3 days for about a week and a half and I found that it left my hair feeling silky with more bounce.
I also have the L'Oréal treatment mask and I tried using this after using the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner once to compare the results and it worked wonders! My hair was left feeling fuller. So this is one of those times where you really need to use the full product range to fully benefit from this product.
The only thing that I was not happy about was that I started to get flyaways since using L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner but I have found that by putting a little hair creme in towel dried hair solves this issue. KMS Freeshape Hot Flex Creme is perfect.
Overall, I would continue to use this product but would not go out of my way to buy this product, especially if it was full priced (RRP$8.99). I have seen it on special at the Pak N Save supermarket for $4.00 each and I think this is a more realistic price tag. but if you want to see the full results of this product it has to be used in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Shampoo and leave in conditioner.
Tips: Best to buy when it's on special but if you want to see the full results of this product it has to be used in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Shampoo and leave in conditioner.
I really liked this conditioner it made my hair silky smooth and was very nice for a supermarket brand.Having bleached hair I found after a few weeks I needed to return to my saloon conditioner.I felt that if you had slightly damaged hair this product would be enough but wasn't enough for my hair.
I will say this product is only alright - good if your usual product is not available. It did not perform as well as my salon products in that it doesn't not leave my hair knot free and smooth, nor silky.
This review is much like the review I did for the shampoo. I liked the bottle and the colour of the bottle as I think it looks nice in the bathroom against the other white. It looks stylish! The product itself I thought was average. I found the conditioner to be a little runny as I prefer conditioner that as a much more thicker and creamier consistency. The fragrance was quite nice, but after a while I found it to be quite sickly sweet smelling. My husband steered clear as it was too feminine for him. My hair did feel soft and shiny afterwards, but I'm not convinced it looks 'fuller' or more 'revitalised' after using this. I think it is an average product that I would use again if it was on a good special. Not worth $9 when there are cheaper options that are just as good. I wasn't disappointed, but its not a product that I would get excited about.....just average.
Tips: It doesn't say on the bottle, but I would squeeze out excess water before applying this as it is quite runny. Also, I left it on my hair for a few minutes rather than rinsing straight off.
Well I like the conditioner better then the shampoo. The smell isn't as strong as the shampoo and I had to use a lot more conditioner for a good coverage. I definitely felt an instant smoothness to my hair and it felt really nice whilst washing out the conditioner. But unfortunately that feeling didn't last long. As soon as my hair dried it went back to feeling dry and coarse :(. A couple of times I left in the conditioner for 3 minutes or so to see if that made a difference and no it didn't. Again I was disappointed in this product I had high expectations for this to work on my hair. I'm in the process of going from dark to blonde (my natural hair colour)and need a really good conditioner to restore my damaged dry hair. This conditioner is not it and I probably won't be using this product again.
