This product said what it would do and left me with nice silky shiny hair. It smelt amazing and I just love it. But unfortunately after a month of using it I have to give up as it makes my hair super itchy so bad I was scratching and making sores on my head. Which is a total shame as it worked really well on my hair.

first of all I loved the scent of this product and I think it did deliver on some of its claims my hair felt nice and soft but some times it became firzzy but I didnt use it religiously I kept it for when my hair needed a boost and I wanted it to smell amazing and it seemed to do the trick the packaging is nice the formula was nice creamy and thick I think the price is so so but I purchased on special I have gone off this brand though the reason is they test on animals there is a big range of ELVIVE and I have not tried many of the others because I feel the scent is chemical or not really to my liking but I really liked this smell and If came on special again I would re buy I did not know it was voted product of the year in 2011 wow.
After trialling they new L'Oreal Pairs Total Repair Conditioner for the last few weeks I have decided it is not for me. The conditioner smelt great and did leave my hair feeling silkier to touch but caused an extreme amount of fluffiness to occur. The product didn't leave my hair looking fuller and I didn't notice an improvement in strength like the product stated. Overall if it wasn't for the extreme fluffiness I would maybe consider using the product again but I didn't enjoy having to tame the excess baby hairs that appeared every time I used the product.
Tips: If you had extremely dry hair this product would be a great way to increase volume, perhaps my hair was a little too soft to start with
Coming from someone who usually only uses salon products I found this to be quite good. The smell is AMAZING and lasts throughout the day. It's the type of conditioner where a little goes a long way so I didn't need to use a huge amount each time I washed my hair. I didn't notice my hair to be in any better condition after using it though. Just a small negative I noticed was that the consistency seemed a bit runny for a conditioner. Packaging is bright and bold, looks good.
Tips: I'd leave mine on a few minutes before washing out to help my hair feel softer.
I enjoyed trying this conditioner. I've been using it daily along with the shampoo for the past two weeks. It has made my hair feel super soft and silky with an added shine. My hair does look healthier however as I have very fine hair it has increased the flyaways so I've needed to use more styling products to stop it. It definitely did not make my hair fuller. I actually think it made it look and feel a bit finer. It has a lovely fragrance that is not over powering. The packaging looks nice and is very informative. Overall it's a nice conditioner that left my hair feeling soft and it added a healthy shine to it.
Tips: Could be better suited for thicker hair. Be careful when opening the bottle as it is quite runny and comes out very quickly. You only need to use a little bit.
first I should declare I am a bit of a snob and only use high end hairdresser bought shampoo and conditioner.
I used the Total repair 5 conditioner with the Total Repair 5 Shampoo. I did like this product, it smelled nice, wasn't too thick and didn't seem to weigh down my hair.
I didn't notice any change in hair strength but my hair has been shinier after using the conditioner.
Tips: Not a bad supermarket product
I felt that this conditioner had a nice enough fragrance, it did manage to re-hydrate my hair rather well. I did however find that if made my normally dry hair get oily considerably quicker than my regular conditioner so for this reason I was not the hugest fan. I feel that if I alternated between brands then I would still be able to benefit from the repair function that it offers without getting oily hair.
Tips: Use the shampoo in the same range as well so the two products can work together.
L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner is a decent supermarket branded hair product. I love the smell of it, it's typical of most of the L'Oréal hair care range. I can't quite decipher the smell but it is pleasant with a mixture of floral and fruity scents.
The consistency of the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner is creamy and lathers on easily. I used L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner every 2-3 days for about a week and a half and I found that it left my hair feeling silky with more bounce.
I also have the L'Oréal treatment mask and I tried using this after using the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner once to compare the results and it worked wonders! My hair was left feeling fuller. So this is one of those times where you really need to use the full product range to fully benefit from this product.
The only thing that I was not happy about was that I started to get flyaways since using L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner but I have found that by putting a little hair creme in towel dried hair solves this issue. KMS Freeshape Hot Flex Creme is perfect.
Overall, I would continue to use this product but would not go out of my way to buy this product, especially if it was full priced (RRP$8.99). I have seen it on special at the Pak N Save supermarket for $4.00 each and I think this is a more realistic price tag. but if you want to see the full results of this product it has to be used in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Shampoo and leave in conditioner.
Tips: Best to buy when it's on special but if you want to see the full results of this product it has to be used in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Shampoo and leave in conditioner.
I really liked this conditioner it made my hair silky smooth and was very nice for a supermarket brand.Having bleached hair I found after a few weeks I needed to return to my saloon conditioner.I felt that if you had slightly damaged hair this product would be enough but wasn't enough for my hair.
Consistency: It is thick and creamy. Just the way I love conditioners to feel. Gives me that "in the salon" feeling but I'm just in my shower, at home.
Application: It is pretty easy to apply.
Fragrance: It smells like a very expensive salon conditioner and it lasts all day. I usually wash my hair with the shampoo and apply the conditioner to style my hair.
Coverage: I have long hair and all I need is a medium amount in the palm of my hand.
Usage: Both my family and I have used the conditioner and the 250ml container which I received lasted about 2 weeks
Price I would say yes, it is worth the money when you see the results. Perhaps we could see some more specials when purchasing the pack eg. Shampoo and Conditioner together.
Packaging: The packaging works well, however perhaps the name "Shampoo" or "Conditioner" could be more predominant. The container has a secure lid which clips each time it's opened and closed.
Results: I have long, wavy, highlighted hair and found that the shampoo helps to bring out my colour much more. Before the trial my hair was dull and the highlights never really stood out.
Would you recommend it- I would recommend it to anyone who wants their dull hair rejuvenated.
Tips: Ensure you use the appropriate one for your hair type or requested outcome.
