L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner Review

I have been using this conditioner for the last 3 months after not feeling happy with the brand I was using. My hair has felt smoother and less likely to frizz since I started using this conditioner. My only complaint would be the red plastic part of the bottle; it has no apparent purpose and collects water. I didn't realise this until I took it out of the shower to put in my bag for travelling overseas. The water started spilling the moment I took it out the shower. However the bottle travelled well from country to country.

I recently purchased the large 750ml Bottles from the warehouse for only $9 each. With pump tops (YAY)

We all use the shampoo and conditioner (two 10 yr olds and a 12 yrd old) they will last a long time.

I love the fragrance and it really does last amazingly well in your hair.

Gorgeous thick texture the melts into your hair.

It really does smooth and add shine and leave it detangled.

I chose the total repair as my hair is very split and dry I have not cut my hair since september, my hair is so long.

Even tho i know that once hair is split you cannot magically repair it, but you can use products like the total repair to mask the ends. And it does for me.

My hair is smooth and very silky. No frizz for me!!

So shiny and nourished. My girls hair look gorgeous aswell.

The total repair shampoo & conditioner are magic when you use in conjunction with the matching treatment. This has worked absolute wonders for my hair, I would almost go as far as saying it is better than any salon treatments I've had (and theres been a fair few!)

My hair has been through the wars and is quite damaged. Most supermarket conditioners don't help but when I can't afford something better I hunt and try new ones. This one actually helped !! Made my hair manageable and detangked well. Saw less hair fall and my hair looked shiny. So affordable and of course convenient as in the supermarket :)

Out of the salon products I've used this good old supermarket shampoo and conditioner has to be my favourite. My hair has been in a bad state to the point it was tricky to brush,washing my hair with this once and I was back to being smooth.

The bottles are a good size and with the consistency of the product you don't need to use alot. So good value for money.

Great supermarket conditioner. I have been using this for years with the matching shampoo. I have oily roots and this is a great lightweight product that doesn’t weigh my hair down. My hair is soft and smooth and easy to handle after using.

As my hair is long and very thick this has been the best one I have found that has left my hair feeling lighter and thinner I wake up and it's not like a big scary load of hair Has a beautiful smell too Love it

I picked this up along with the matching shampoo from Countdown. It comes in a 300ml bottle but you can also get it in a much larger bottle with a pump. It is very affordable especially when on special, I paid around $6.

It smells devine, the scent also lingers in your hair and I love getting whiffs of it throughout the day. It is lovely and thick, I really love the consistency. I slather it on and let it sit while I go about my shower. It washes out easily but be careful because this makes my shower floor really slippery.

I get no colour washout with this which is great. I use this along with the matching shampoo and I feel they work best together. It makes my hair beautiful, soft, hydrated and super shiny. Definitely great for a supermarket conditioner. Would repurchase for sure.

Ok, so this product took some convincing. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and I'm beginning to believe. Prior to using this product my hair was badly damaged from constantly dying it, using a hair dryer and straightener daily. It was dry, brittle, snapped easily and was FOREVER falling out and covering my bathroom floor!

After the first few uses I have to say I didn't notice a difference and began to think it was a waste of time. But being a mum of 4 and a full-time student I couldn't afford to buy something else so just sucked it up and continued to use it.

In the 2nd week however is where the magic happened! I washed and conditioned my hair using L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Shampoo AND Conditioner, wrapped my hair in a town, got dressed, put my face on and then let my hair out to begin blow drying. Expecting my hair to be frizzy and straw-like I was totally amazed to find it was soft, silky and not the slightest bit frizzy!!!!

AND THEN, after applying some heat treatment to my hair I started my daily blow dry and straighten. I have to say, I was very hesitant to do anything to my hair. I had all my toes crossed in hopes it would just go 'poof' and be a fizz ball again. And it worked! My hair continued to stay soft and silky AND i had no need to straighten it because there was no frizz!!!!!!!

So, into the 3rd week now and I am still getting the same adorable hair results. oh and my hair isn't snapping all the time, its stronger, and even looks healthier. I had lots of comments this past week on the length of my hair also! (I don't think its made it grow) but because it looks healthier I'm assuming people are taking more notice)
