I am happy to have this opportunity to try on " L'oreal Paris Infallible Pro-glow 24hr foundation. I have been looking for foundation " with hydrating and glow " due to my aging skin. My skin type at my age now is a bit dry and I really need some dewy on my face skin. This foundation has some good features: # lightweight and creamy texture. It instantly and easily blends on my skin and looks softly glowy. # Has luminous effect and radian finish. I used it before going to work. After 9 hours when I finished work, I noticed that my face skin still in hydrating status ( not dry at all! ). # With a basic protection of SPF15 SPF15 really suits me because I don't like heavy SPF such like SPF30 or SPF50. # The smell of this foundation is pleasant. # It is easy to carry. # The design of the tube is simple yet stylish. --------------------- Conclusion: This foundation suits people who need a bit glow and hydrating and Sunscreen protection. Especially those who on the go. It suits normal to dry skin better.

Tips: Remember to apply moisturizer to face prior to applycation of this foundation. Don't over put loose powder after applying this foundation for a natural dewy and luminous fresh look!
When I say natural looking, I don't mean the natural state of my skin sans make up. What I mean is how I would love my skin to look if it was flawless. But alas my skin is far from perfect. I have an uneven skin tone and some discoloration from some old acne. I find that if I want coverage, it usually comes with the downfall of looking mask like. Then when I try to touch up during the day, it all starts looking a bit caked on. But with this product, I found it gave my skin an airbrushed appearance. It just looked like I wasn't wearing make up and had just beautiful fresh glowing skin. I was quite surprised about the consistency of the product. It is quite watery. But I think that is how it gives you a very natural non caked on finish. The packaging is a slim, lightweight squeezable plastic tube. This makes it so easy and lightweight to fit into my little make up purse that I keep in my handbag. I always touch up after lunch. I found that it didn't cake on and it just went on with a nice glowy fresh finish.
This product has evidently had rave reviews everywhere so I was super thrilled to get on the trial!.
I feel I could be a bit of a hard room to convince with this, as I confess to being a right loyalist when it comes to foundation - slave to my Estee Doublewear, so can a drugstore brand compete against this industry icon?
I couldn’t wait to find out!
The product comes in a tube as opposed to the glass bottle that I was used to. This is not a negative by any means and in fact I think I prefer it as it’s easy to travel with and it means you can squeeze the last out of the tube and then when that’s done, you can cut of fthe bottom and squeeze out some more! So full points for this.
The texture of it is really REALLY light and it’s almost slightly runny. . Now this suits me as I don’t like nor need a full coverage foundation. In the beginning it was a bit of trial and error to get the application right. I tried using a sponge and the a brush but (after googling some techniques) found that recommendations from people who have used it was to just get stuck in there with your fingers, so off I went.
The product gives a sheer coverage, with a dewy finish that certainly lasted me throughout the day without looking overly shiny. I guess you can build it up with thicker coverage if you want, but that’s not the look I was going for.
I loved it I liked the tube, the ease of application and the satiability. The only thing that could be improved on was my colour match, as the one I had selected was more of a ‘winter’ shade for me. But, as that was user error on my part, i’m not going to mark it down for that and in fact i’m going to be taking myself off to Farmers to buy the shade that’s right for me.
All in all I really liked it, and i'm certainly going to be buying it again. Sorry Estee, I hate to break up with you, but i'm now in love with someone else.
Tips: Google application methods and don't be scared to experiment to find the right one for you.
I really, really love this foundation!
Packaging: Ok, the plastic tube isn't the prettiest but its pretty practical. The lid is hand-bag proof and just the right amount of product comes out.
Shades: The shade choices are definitely limited (6?!) but as I'm always the lightest its not a huge biggie for me. I found the lightest shade Classic Ivory, perfect, with just the right amount of pink.
Application: Goes on like a dream. I prefer a more liquid foundation, than a thicker cream like texture. Easier to blend and I reckon it takes less product to get the job done. I used a brush.
Finish: Glowy! The coverage is light but I found it perfect for smoothing out my imperfections, without fully covering them. The finish was even and non-streaky. I reckon I look radiant, and that's not a bad thing for a girl to think about herself!
Wear: I didn't even try for 24hrs (people can really stay awake that long?!) but it lasted the work day so I'm happy.
Great foundation and compared to the high end brands, its a bargain!
Tips: Prime!
Initially, I was sceptical about trying the Pro-Glow foundation. Lets just say, I definitely have my favourites/staples as a makeup artist, but in saying that, this also makes me very open and excited to trying new products! Initially I found the consistency very runny (hence the "air-light" texture). However, upon application I found it actually gave a really nice coverage and true to description. The bottle claims the foundation has a medium coverage with a radiant finish which is definitely accurate. I found the foundation sat on my skin really nicely and comfortably all day. I have combination skin with a side of sensitivity combined with a lot of natural redness, so 2 layers were ideal and gave that really nice dewy finish and medium coverage. This foundation definitely did feel hydrating to wear, unlike many foundations and the SPF factor is definitely an added bonus! I think this foundation would be great value for money and perfect for those wanting a light weight makeup that isn't heavy or cakey and allows their natural skin to be enhanced and radiant.
Tips: Applies really well with a beauty blender. Coverage can be built up. Set with powder through the T-zone (or apply to whole face for a slightly more matte look).
I was lucky enough to get on the trial and really was impressed with this foundation. It was easy to apply and didn’t feel or look heavy on. I got used to the shiny look and it made me feel less conscious of my age as it had a much fresher look than my matt foundation. It didn’t take long to apply and lasted all day. I started off with the less is more and added to it until I reached the coverage I wanted.
Tips: Use a primer before applying foundation to get a smoother look from the foundation. I used a brush to apply.
L'oréal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation was a real treat to use. First of all I'd like to say I love how handy it is to have a foundation in a easy to use, petite sized squeezy bottle. The Foundation itself has a matte like texture once applied and does look glowing on skin. I really enjoyed using it because not only did it make my skin shine but it had a nice natural tone, and I'm all go for natural. I have dry skin so I get weary to certain foundations I do use. I think this product would be great as a handbag must have because you could use it anywhere it is compact and easy to apply.
When this product arrived, I originally thought that I had chosen the wrong colour, as it appeared much lighter than I expected, but it turns out that it was perfect for my skin tone. The coverage is incredible on me, and covers all of my problem areas, easily lasting my entire work day. I have no issues with oily skin, but do have a lot of red tones, which were covered easily over the entire day. In certain dry patches, you could see the cracking by the end of the day but only if you looked at my skin from a fairly close distance.
The liquid was easy to spread, and you don't need much of it at all to get great coverage. The best thing for me is that even though I have sensitive skin, I had no reaction to this product at all - I'm definitely keeping it on my product list!!
Tips: Wear a primer and don't skip it - it does make a visible difference in how the product appears on your skin, especially if you have dry skin in areas.
This foundation is marketed as a long wearing 24 hour hydrating glow. Yes is is dewy and hydrating but it was not long wearing on my skin.
My skin type is combination with normal skin on the perimeter of my face and a slightly oily nose. Slightly TMI but i'm a bit of a hot mess. I over heat really quickly and am more sweaty then I would like to admit. Plus i'm a Dance teacher!
Straight away I was hesitant about this would holding up on my skin because of the above issues. I tried it out on the weekend (no dancing involved) and was surprised how beautiful it looked on my skin. Even the Boyfriend commented on how nice it looked. I wore it for about 8 hours doing general weekend chores and only started to look oily at the 6 hour mark.
I then decided to put it to test and wore it to work. 4 hours in and it was not pretty. Setting powder removed some of the excess shine but it left it looking cakey and some of it had moved around.
While this is not a good foundation for me to work in I did like it for weekend use. Especially on the days when I know i'm only going to be leaving the house for a few hours.
This foundation does look stunning when you first apply it and if you are a dry skinned beauty then i highly recommend it! I'm looking forward to using this in winter as my skin tends to become super dry and I think this might work nicely for me.
As a pale faced babe ( WN13 Mac, 120 Fenty) I was a bit worried about colour matching and I really struggle to find anything that works from to drug store. Not only am I super pale but I also have a neutral under tone. I have never been able to use L'Oréal as nothing has ever matched me. So this foundation was a pleasant surprise.
Normally if a foundation is labeled Ivory it's going to be too yellow for my skin but this was perfect!
I am now going to hunt out the Matte formula and give it a go.
Tips: Works really well over Stila one step correct primer and the Fenty beauty matte primer.
I have had so many comments on my skin/makeup while wearing this foundation it is crazy! I was excited to get a spot reviewing this, as I have spent sooo much money lately trying to find a foundation that works for me (and failing miserably). On first glance, the packaging is pretty cool, nice and sleek and simple - and easy to hold and dispense product. After shaking (which does definitely make a difference in application once you read the back of the tube properly!) used a damp beauty blender to apply it over top of a pore refining primer. The coverage is actually lovely, definitely a medium coverage, but covered my redness and the majority of any breakouts I had going on. Once it had dried down it didn’t feel like I had anything on my skin at all and didn’t look cakey or powdery at all. The real test was when I wore it to work. I’m a beauty therapist so have to wear a decent amount of makeup daily. A lot of the time my foundation is mostly gone half way Through the day. The only thing I noticed with this was that my nose had a bit of a shine to it which wasn’t unexpected. Overall I love this foundation and will use it again.
