I have only been using this product for under 2 weeks so haven't seen the dramatic results as yet but I am looking forward to seeing how my skin looks in another few weeks. I love the thick and rich formula, my skin feels well hydrated after using it. It feels more indulgent than other L'Oreal day creams I have used.

Tips: Less is more, this is a thick formula that spreads well so you don't need to dig too deep!
I love the jar it comes in, silver with a lilac lid. The cream is white in colour with a very light fragrance, which doesn’t last long. I found the cream quite thick in texture but happy to say it’s not greasy at all. In fact, it spreads easily on the skin, and gets absorbed through the skin. After a few days, I found my skin looking plumper and feeling firmer. It also provides hydration to the skin, giving the face a healthier look. There was reduction in fine lines around my eyes. But sadly, there was no change to the lines on my forehead. I have been using the cream for 2 weeks now. Maybe I need to use it longer to be more impactful on the lines & eliminate wrinkles. And did I mention it is SPF 50! That is so awesome! No need to apply an SPF on top of this.
Tips: Apply not just on your face but also on your neck. I can definitely feel a reduction of the lines on my neck:)
I have been using this moisturiser daily and have been enjoying it a lot. I like that it has spf in it and how it makes my skin feel.
It has a thick, creamy consistency - it is a lot thicker than most day moisturisers I have tried. It instantly makes my skin feel soft and moisturised, and feel hydrated throughout the day. It doesn’t make my skin feel greasy, but is quite thick and takes a while to sink into my skin properly. It does have a strong scent, which doesn’t bother me, but might if you have are sensitive to fragrance.
I think this is a good product for the price and am glad I purchased!
Firstly I love the gunmetal packaging that it comes into. It looks metallic so pretty cool indeed! The creme is quite thick, but spreads really well onto the skin. I haven't even dented the pot at all so I suspect this will be massive value for money. It's nice to know that it has a SPF of 50 so I feel like I have great protection from harmful UV rays.
I'm not sure if I've noticed a reduction in my lines, but I think I'm getting past the backspace stage. However, I feel that my skin feels more even in texture & most certainly hydrated.
Tips: Use sparely as it spreads a long way
I was a lucky participant in the trial team for this product. It arrived a bit late so I am writing this on Day 11 of using it.
I am mid-50's, with combination skin. I am prone to really dry cheeks and the nose to chin lines, plus, my skin is quite sensitive and reactive.
This product comes in a standard jar packaging with no dispenser or scoop (so fingers in the jar), and upon opening it the fragrance was quite pleasant and a nice surprise as I tend to avoid fragrance due to my skin sensitivity. The smell dissipated shortly after application. The consistency is quite creamy and it spreads easily.
It did tingle a little when first applied, which I think might be the astringent effect of Denatured Alcohol as it is the fifth ingredient listed. The product has a very impressive list of the latest chemical sunscreen ingredients with a good spread of UVA and UVB protection.
As a moisturiser, and applying a normal (maybe 1/8 teaspoon) amount it went on with a white cast but it did set back quite well and reasonably quickly (15 mins). It felt moisturising without being too heavy or greasy for me, so I liked it well enough for a day time moisturiser.
However, in case you need a reminder, all SPF ratings are set using the 2mg per square centimetre of your face - that means half a teaspoon of this is required to reach SPF50! Plus, you need to reapply every two hours to keep it up. I dug out my kitchen measuring spoons and went ahead with the half teaspoon. Unfortunately using the full amount led to major white cast and I was left with white spots settling into my pores all day - not visible from a distance but good eyesight close up would probably notice it. Plus, that amount of product just didn't work well with my makeup leaving me with a lot of pilling.
So, as a moisturiser this gets a solid pass, and I think if you were going with the layering technique of using SPF rated moisturiser, primer, foundation and powder then this would be a great base. However, if you just want to throw one product on to get an SPF50 then I think there are better options.
I've had no irritation or skin flaking which is a win for me. Oh, and on the filler part? I'm, still waiting for that bit to happen ;-)
Tips: Be prepared to do a bit of trial and error with the dosage rate if you want it to play nicely with other products such as sunscreens, primers and foundations.
I've got this product to try from the rewards vault and was super excited to try it. I have been using it for about a month now. First impressions were that it was thick and sticky and went on more like a sunblock than a moisturizer. I also find the fragrance a little overpowering. It does slightly tighten my lines, but doesn't make my skin feel any better. I love the sunblock in it because it saves one step in my morning routine. It's hard to say if I have noticed any permanent difference in my fine lines, but certainly nothing outstanding. Would I use the product again? Yes i probably would given the sunblock factor and now that i have got used to the fragrance. However, I'm not sure I would spend the money on it, especially with it being so thick, you tend to use a lot to get a better coverage. It was great to try for free! Thank you Beauty Review for the opportunity ❤
Well I still have my lines. When I started this trial I unfortunately knew it wouldn't be a magic recipe however I have been using this for nearly two weeks and I have to say my skin feels softer and in some ways my lines appear softer also. When applied to your palm and rub both together it goes on nicely without leaving it feeling greasy. A nice fragrance not to over powering. Will definitely keep using it.
I found this cream a really nice rich consistency and it was beautiful and nourishing. It left my skin feeling amazing over most of face and especially my neck area which is starting to show some signs of aging.
The downfall for me was the fragrance, it is so strong I found it very overpowering....but keeping in mind I have the nose of a bloodhound. But the more sensitive areas of my face like around my nose where I tend to get a bit of dermatitis flared up biiiig time.
Would really love this product in a fragrance free formula as I did like the way it felt and preformed but the fragrance made it a no go for me.
Tips: Wouldn't recommend for more sensitive skin
Its not often that I would give a L’Oreal product the thumbs down, but for me this was ineffective in many ways. I clearly didn’t research it enough, but purchased it as it contained hyaluronic acid and is SPF50. My skin didn’t respond to it eg felt dry and thirsty making me apply yet more which was probably a bad move. I am sure it would be beneficial for some - just not me.
The L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Deep Replumping SPF50 Day Moisturiser is designed for more mature skin (>30years, oof that hurt). It is so great to have a moisturiser with SPF50 to not only provide protection against the sun's rays, but also helps to fight photoaging.
The moisturiser is a thick cream. Really thick - like sunscreen thick. So at first I was not keen thinking it would be greasy and sit on my face all day. But surprisingly it absorbed really well. I normally like thinner moisturisers but I might have to suck it up and realise my "mature skin" reads a bit more. It also kind of acted like a primer under my makeup - so that's a bonus.
It comes in a small glass jar, which I do like as you can really get every last bit out without having to hack into it with scissors. It has a light scent - so might not be for those who like fragrance free products.
As for the reducing signs of aging, I am not so sure. I wonder if the claims are in comparison to using nothing. But since I always moisturise day and night - I don't know if this product is doing any extra over what other products do.
