just finished my 7 days - I was worried about how it was going to react with my skin, I have very sensitive skin, but I haven't had any adverse reaction! waking up the next day after treatment 1 I felt a definite difference in the touch feel of my skin, but as the week went on this feeling stayed and my skin felt tighter and firmer. Small lines around my eyes didn't appear as noticable and my pores appears diminished and the same effect on small blemishes - just not as prominent. I love the result that this has given me - definitely give this one a try!

I was very excited to trial this product as the last few months have left my skin a bit dry and patchy. A skin treatment like this was perfect.
I like the premeasured ampoules so you only touch what you're going to use, but it can be a bit difficult getting the product out. Storing upside down did seem to help though.
I found the product applied nicely and seemed to sink into the skin within five minutes or so, I would wait for it to disappear into my skin before applying my night cream. There was definitely ample product in the ampoules to do my entire face and neck.
In the morning I found my skin felt soft and the dry patches disappeared after 3-4 applications. I tried applying one night without my night cream and found my skin still lovely and soft in the morning.
Overall I have enjoyed using this product and would probably use again as a skin treat every few months.
Tips: Store the box on its side with the tops facing down to make getting product out easier.
This is going to be my product for 2020 . . . it does exactly what it says it does, in particular my skin is so much smoother after doing the full 7 days. My dark spots, from sun when I was younger, tend to stand out more in winter with my skin being paler but I have watched one in particular and its definitely not as obvious. The product itself is very easy to apply and absorbs quickly so no waiting around to apply your nightly moisturiser. I found though I spent more time making sure I got all the liquid out of the ampoule than it took to absorb into my skin! It would be hard to put 1ml of liquid in anything but an ampoule so the best way I found to get it out was to tap both halves, when opened, onto the palm of my hand. Loved this product and will definitely now be a 'staple' in my regime.
I was REALLY excited to try this product. The packaging is attractive and helpfully numbered but the instructions could be a little clearer, the first instructions don’t say anything about the lip area, but later in the caution it says avoid lip area. Application was easy and the solution didn’t have a strong chemical smell. There is ample enough product inside each vile. After two days of using this product I noticed my skin is a lot more oily. It Also increased my acne. I do normally have quite an oily skin and this made it even oilier. I did persevere for the full seven days but I didn’t feel like it made any difference to the radiance or smoothness of my skin. Certainly not more “refined and clearer” as promised. I took before and after photos but there is no noticeable difference. I won’t be rushing out to spend my money on this one.
Firstly I was really surprised by how much liquid was in one shot and the amount made sure there was plenty to go on the face and your neck. The absorption into the skin happens fairly soon after application, so I made sure I didn't pour all of the liquid into my palm at once as it applies to the skin smoothly and easily as well. Even after the first use I felt like my skin felt a bit softer and by the end of the 7 days it felt silky smooth. The finer lines around my eye area and lip area were no longer that noticeable and didn't really show until I smiled and then they were again a lot softer than they use to be. My skin tone also did appear to be more even, admittedly I didn't notice this until towards the end of the 7 days of treatment. It really showed when I applied my tinted moisturize as my face looked fresher and almost well brighter due to the evenness of the skin underneath. I would consider this a look good feel go to product. :) This is definitely a system I would look to use every 4-6 weeks to give my face and skin a bit of a treat as well as keep guarding off more fine lines!
Tips: Keep the vials stored up right so the liquid doesn't fill the tip as it takes a while to get it to slide down to the Ampoule. When throwing away the vials put the top you break off in the opening of bottom part so if there is any liquid left in the bottom part it doesn't leak out.
I'm a big fan of an at-home peel and have tried a few over the years, I've never ventured into the spa for one though. I've also tried a 30% glyolic peel at home before but it's something I'd use once a week at most. I think the lower concentration of these ampoules must be for a gentler, but more frequent approach.
I have quite sensitive skin although I've spent a fair amount of time building up it's tolerance to active ingredients. I would definitely say take care with this one if your skin is prone to redness, or is at all broken. I didn't experience any stinging or other reaction which was great!
My skin has some dark spots from past blemishes and sun exposure so I was excited by the claim that these would be visibly reduced. I didn't experience a noticable lift in the pigmentation of these spots but I can attest to the product improving the radiance and smoothness of my skin. I'm keen to hear whether others experienced improvements in dark spots.
There's a novelty factor to the ampoules, but I don't think any of it's recyclable which is a shame. I actively look for products in genuinely recyclable packaging these days- as I know many of us do- so I'd probably bypass this on the shelf?
The serum absorbs nicely and works absolutely fine under my other nightly moisturisers. If anything, there's a little too much serum in the ampoule but I just used the extra for my neck and chest.
There's a recommendation to be conscientious about sun protection when using the treatment which I think is great. If I'm splitting hairs though, I'd say SPF15 is not going to cut the mustard- especially in NZ! Luckily it's winter and I've not seen the sun in days!
Tips: A great gift for the skincare lover in your life.
I loved these 7 day glycolic acid peel ampules from Loreal Paris Revitalift. Although slightly fiddly having the little ampules made me feel I was using some kind of science experiment or highly concentrated product. I was dubious about how this little but of serum cloud make significant changes to my skin but as the days progressed I saw a more even skin tone and felt my skin had more bounce to it. Very easy to add into my daily routine and relatively easy to use. Maybe if the ampules were squeezable or opened right up it would be easier to get every last drop.
These little ampules are a in the L’Oreal Paris red and sleek in style. It did take me a couple of days to get the hang of of getting all the liquid to the bottom so none when to waste! They are pretty easy to open with the top part breaking off rather easily. And I did find it a little awkward to get it all out of the bottle it takes a few taps on the palm to get it out. It’s a clear colored serum with a pleasant mild scent that disappeared fairly quickly after use. There is good amount that covers your face and neck easily. It absorbed quickly into the skin and didn’t add to much more time to the night time routine. After 7 days of using this I can see a change in the skin tone and dark spots. The dark spots have definitely faded and my skin tone is much more even it just looks smoother and feels nicer in general. This is a great product that I would encourage any friends or family to buy to help with their dark spots and to help even out skin tone. It’s a quick addition to a nightly routine that’s did what it said it would!
Tips: When you get them flick all the liquid down to the bottom and stand them up just to save you time when it’s time to use them! And make sure you have a good SPF for your face the next day you don’t want to undo it’s good work!
I'm a huge fan of chemical exfoliation, and this product from L'Oreal ticks all the boxes for a mild 'freshen-up'! The packaging is a little OTT. Seven shots of clear gloopy serum encased in red plastic tubes. RIP environment, right? You have to flick the top of the tube so that the product drips to the bottom, then snap the top off, which is all very Trainspotting, but kind of fun. The serum itself is lightweight and fragrance free which is great. I use a few L'Oreal moisturisers, and the heavier ones for us (ahem) older ladies tend to have a very cloying, overowerpowering scent. The serum absorbs very easily, and I used it a couple of times without moisturiser to follow without it drying my skin. There was a definite improvement in skin texture after one day and my skin felt much smoother after the week long course. Would definitely recommend for a starter product, or if you've got an event coming up, but tbh, I don't know if the active ingredients are very strong. I didn't have any tingling or redness - which is a good thing!
Tips: If you're not used to chemical exfoliation, go slow! Don't use it on consecutive days if your skin feels too tingly.
I was pleasantly surprised by this product!! I only used 6 out of the 7 ampoules (one was broken when received and product had leaked out).
Packaging - Although I understand why the product is in ampoules, I wish there was an easier way to access the product. We're only getting 1 ml per ampoule and the chances of decanting all of the product is slim. I had trouble with 3 stubborn lids which had me face palming myself thinking I could have already been done with my skincare if not for the packaging.
Consistency / Scent - Having said that, the 1ml (or close to it) of clear semi liquid consistency spreads nicely over my face and neck. It's more than enough, however there were days I thought some ampoules had less than others. I didn't detect any noticable scent.
Application - The product leaves behind a slighty tacky residue which is absorbed a few minutes later so that you're left with a very smooth face. On day 3, I started to notice some very mild tingling around my cheeks when applying the product but overall my usually sensitive skin was happy over the 6 days.
Results - I didn't notice any reduction in dark spots or fine lines (may need longer than a week) but I do feel that the best version of my skin was on display after 6 days. The product helped to create a smooth canvas for my makeup and gave my skin a wee boost of life.
I can only assume the price point will be similar to other L'Oreal ampoules, and if it is then realistically it's too expensive to incorporate into my regular skincare routine especially with that sort of packaging. I think the next best option is to use it leading up to a special occassion.
