I put my hand up for this trial because my skin is feeling like it needs a bit of an overhaul - winter is never kind! So first impression of packaging - nice and simple and I love the individual ampoules! Instructions are only 3 easy steps - Tap lid and break away, place into palm and then onto skin (avoiding lips and eye area). Scent is discreet and unusual, texture is almost a little slimy when you rub between your fingers. Applying it on face is easy but you realize very quickly how much product is actually in that tiny ampoule! Literally did my face twice to avoid wasting lol Goes on smoothly, felt a prickly feeling for a few minutes and thought uh-oh! But it subsided quickly. It says in instructions to follow on with the Loreal Lazer night cream which I dont have so used my regular moisturizer. My face felt like I had a mask on - a bit tight but not uncomfortable..and a slightly tacky texture. Next morning usual skin routine and then makeup..Didn’t know if my application was on point that particular day or if by some miracle I could actually see a difference.. Day 2-4 still going strong - no prickly feeling after application. Have played around with and without my moisturizer and decided I prefer without because it feels less tight and tacky to the touch. I have definitely noticed a difference - I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is but my skin looks fresher and makeup seems to be lasting or looking good for far longer than it usually does! Texture and tone seem to be finer and more even. I would use this again for sure but next time I would play around with it a little.

Tips: Not really with this product. Its straight forward to use. My only preference is to leave my moisturizer off afterwards but would be keen to try with the follow up night moisturizer L’Oréal recommended.
I was initially a sceptic about this product, but after the first use, I was definitely more of a believer!!
The packaging is interesting with the way you have to combine the liquids, but it felt really nice to apply - it spread easily, didn't feel oily and I didn't notice any particular scent. My skin instantly felt a little tingly in the way that an active product would usually feel once applied so you know it's doing something. I followed up with my usual moisturiser afterwards.
As somebody who has sensitive skin and rosacea, I expected that I might react in some way but I had no adverse reaction at all. My skin felt plumper and fuller after just one application and continued to feel amazing throughout the 7 days, with less dryness and redness than I usually experience. The only downside that I noticed was that my skin broke out more than it usually would during the period that I used the product. I would definitely recommend this product!!
I was very excited to give these a whirl and couldn't wait for them to arrive! The packaging was very informative and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. You apply this to a cleansed face at night and follow with moisturizer which I did. Even after day 1 I noticed a difference! Wrinkles that I have are looking less noticeable and my skin was so much clearer. I even ventured out without make up on my face during the day and someone told me my skin looked nice and glowy like I was wearing make up! Very impressed and would definitely recommend.
Tips: Dont forget to use sunblock on your face during the day as your skin is more sensitive to the suns Ray's when using this.
Love love loved this treatment, I loved it so much I have already repurchased and have it ready to go for the next time my skin needs abit of extra hydration and smoothness. Was very pleasantly surprised it was so gentle on my very sensitive skin, and made a huge noticeable difference after the first few days. My fine lines around my eyes looked and felt plumped up and even my pores looked and felt smaller. My biggest observation was my make up was easier to apply and looked so smooth and dewy. Will be recommending to all my friends and family.
Tips: Use after cleansing, while face is still damp.
Have been using for 4 days and after day 1 I could already feel a difference in my skin texture as it was smoother. On day 4 I could visibly see my dark spots on my left cheek which is a bit darker, my forehead and one dark spot on my right cheek go lighter and is not as prominent as it once were. I also have pigmentation marks due to hormones under my chin are which is also lighter.
My skins smoothness is also amazing, could feel this after one use but after 4 nights of using the ampoules it is so so so soft as well as my skins radiance, find my skin is much "brighter" and not as dull as it use to be. I might also be imagining it but it does feel as if the product has had an effect on my hydration and my skin is not as dry as it use to be.
The packaging is ok, some might feel it needs a bit more of a luxurious feel and look, but also then I am sure the price will be more. The ampoules it self is made of a hard plastic and the top breaks off easily. The only problem is that some of the liquid gets stuck in the top and even though I have left it standing up the liquid does not go down into the rest of the ampoule.
The liquid itself is of a nice consistency and goes on nicely, I patted it into my skin and is absorbed quickly. You will feel a tingly sensation or even a bit of burning some might say but that is just the glycolic acid, if you have infected/broken skin it might burn/tingle a bit more.
Would definitely use this product again and buy for myself as I it does what it says.
Tips: Would definitely recommend as part of your night routine after cleansing your face and then putting the product on as per directions. I have not added a moisturizer after as I have found that everything on is a bit too much for my skin.
First of all, thanks BR for letting me trial these beautiful little ampoules. I’m not a stranger to acids of any kind, BHA’s, AHA’s or PHA’s and have tried them in many different forms from masks to toners. I was so excited to try this serum as I’m obsessed with the L’Oreal Hyaluronic Acid Serum. There is a generous amount in each ampoule so you really get the idea of how it will continue to work long term. Any product that exfoliates without physical exfoliation will tingle as it works. While most people can deal with a mild tingling feeling being a 10% Glycolic Acid this product tingles and does cause a mild burning sensation which only lasts for maybe a minute or two. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this particular product to anyone that has never used an acid product or has sensitive skin as I think it may be too much to start with. In saying that if you love the feeling and effects that these exfoliating products give then this is a great option. My textured skin definitely looks better than it did a week ago and is as soft as a babies. I’ve had an entire week of amazing makeup days and I’ve even managed to wear foundation that normally breaks apart after 4 hours for more than 6. I completely stopped using any other exfoliating products and Retinol over this past week so that I could really see how it would work and I’m extremely impressed. I will definitely be buying this product again as it’s more effective than another exfoliating serum I have at double the price.
Tips: Always apply a high spf sunscreen when using any exfoliating product as it reveals newer skin which is more prone to burning. Maybe start using this at night and every second one until your skin adjusts to this level of acid.
It is the middle of winter and my skin has lost its summer glow and been hit with a case of dryness due to the crispy cold days. When the opportunity arose to trial the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser 7 Day Treatment Glycolic Peel Ampoules I jumped at the chance. This was chance to see if I could have a great experience with a glycolic peel treatment as my last one was 13 years ago and I had an awful experience with very red, burnt skin and weeks of recovery for my skin to return to normal. Now, a little older and some fine lines appearing surely my skin would love a little home treatment. I incorporated the ampoules into my evening routine. After washing my skin I flicked the top so the product would fall to the bottom and then snapped off the cap and tipped the product onto my fingers to apply to my face. It was very easy to use, and there was enough for two applications on my skin. It soaked nicely into my face and neck and didn't leave any residue when I carefully patted it around my face. There was a slight scent that was pleasant, but barely anything to mention.
After the first night I found my face a little more bright - and ensured I used a base lotion with a sunscreen as the product can cause sensitivity to the sun. The second and third night I followed the same routine. After the third night I found my skin was a bit red and starting to slightly react with sensitivity to the products I was using. I chose to stop the trial after night three to give my skin a little break. This is only due to the original salon experience I had with a glycolic peel so I was a bit hesitant to proceed in case I turned red.
The price and packaging are perfect. So easy to insert into a monthly or bi-monthly routine without costing too much. The little ampoules make it so easy to see what night you are on if you want to complete the 7 day course, they are easy to pop into a travel bag and contain the perfect amount of product.
My results may differ from others, but after 3 nights of using the product I am very pleased with the refreshment of my winter skin and will look to carry on using this product as it is affordable with big results. I would recommend this for those who want a salon treatment at an at home price. The quality and results of the product are fantastic.
Tips: Understand your skin and be comfortable to do less than the 7 night course if your skin is reacting a little.
I'm always a little wary of products that promise results after one use, and I'm afraid this didn't live up to the hype. The product contained 7 ampoules of glycolic acid, which you applied once a day for seven days. You were supposed to see improvement in skin texture and clarity. The individual ampolues have instruction for how to dispense the product from the tip into the body of the ampoule by flicking it. This was super awkward, and sometimes I'm not entirely sure it worked properly, leaving part of the product in the tip. On one of the days in an effort to get more of the product down, I flicked it too hard and the top broke off before I could get it down properly. I started out not sure if I was using it properly which is not what you want. However I did get a little tingle when applying, so certainly was able to access the acid. There is more in the tip of the ampoule than what you need to cover your face so if it all doesn't come out it is not a problem, or if you have extra you can put extra down your neck/decolletage if you like. After one day I am not sure I could discern any difference. After seven days I don't really feel there is any noticeable difference in my skin, apart from a slight breakout on my chin. Perhaps after this clears my skin will look better. Overall I was disappointed as I found the product tricky to use and lacking in the promised results.
Tips: Tricky packaging to use, and for me, lacking in the promised results. For these reasons I wouldn't recommend.
The 7 small red ampoules containing the 10% glycolic look small in size but contain alot of product. Easy to use, simply pull one ampoule from the packet, turn upside down and flick the tube to separate product. Snap thin top off and let product fall into palm of your hand. The glycolic gel is clear, with a subtle scent. Let the product drip into your palm and smooth over face with finger tips. There was quite alot of peodyct in each ampoule so bring it down to your neck and chest, but dont forget to spf those areas also! Initially when first applying my skin felt tingly but that quickly disappeared.
I have now finished the course of ampoules and my skin looks clearer, active blenishes have gone. my skin is super soft and hyperpigmentation has settled but not disappeared. Make up applies beautifully, even tho i M wearing spf!
To someone who has regular glycolic salon treatments, they are probably best to stick to salon strength.
Always spf the following day!
Tips: All skin is different, go lightly in the beginning using a small amount of product, if there's no reaction, continue using.
L'Oreal of late can do nothing wrong. They seem to have really found their nook of affordable, but effective skin care. More than any other supermarket brand, I feel like with L'Oreal you get products that are based on science, and they work.
These ampoules are no different. The idea of a daily treatment of an active shot is pretty out there. The little vials are very medical in look and feel. I found snapping the top off a bit tricky so would love to see an easier way of opening them. So yes, I've given it full marks across the three categories, because it fully does what it says, I will totally buy it again, and I will not shut up telling my friends about them. BUT I hate the actual opening of the vial.
Each vial of product absorbs well into my face and decolletage and I experienced no real feeling of peeling or discomfort, which I admit, I was braced for!
After the first couple of uses I thought, hmm, maybe I look slightly better...but from Day 3 onwards I could really notice positive improvements, particularly to the area of discoloration on my cheek.
Every morning after use, my skin felt fantastically soft and supple, and had a glow - its like the facial glow, 8 hours after the facial. Pretty remarkable!
As I approached the end of the trial, I realised I didn't want it to end. I clutched that last vial for far too long, willing myself to save it. To put it in a drawer and save it for when my skin desperately needed a boost of radiance. Snap. I couldn't resist it. I slathered that last millilitre of product onto my face giving in to the Ampoule Addict I had become.
