I have never been satisfied by a drugstore foundation for as long as I can remember. I've been buying the same $70 Lancome foundation for a very long time. After seeing Lauren Curtis continuing to use this L'oreal True Match over the years I finally decided to cave and try it. I was slightly too pale for my Lancome and couldn't be bothered fake tanning so i stopped by farmers to pick up the L'oreal True Match as an in-between. After using it now for a good while i'm positive I won't be going back.
The foundation itself goes on feeling slightly dry but it's still suuuuper blendable. once it's settled in the skin all dry feeling is gone and it becomes silky and soft. I was able to start at a sheer/medium coverage and so easily build it to a full coverage with no caking or orange peel texture. The lasting power is fabulous! I set it with my powder and it didn't move. I feel photoshopped when i wear it but it also feels so natural on the skin.
I have severely dry skin and this is my new go-to!!!!
IN LOVE.
I LOVE this foundation, it has a beautiful natural finish and I would say is medium coverage but could definitely be buildable to a more full too. I have normal to dry skin and I think it works perfectly for my skin type. Its really lightweight and super blendable but also great coverage considering the thin consistancy. Its definately my go-to foundation and will continue to re-purchance over and over. The only down side to this foundation is that its on the more expensive side for a drugstore foundation here it New Zealand.
Tips: I find it applys amazingly with a damp beauty blender or the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.
