This foundation has honestly turned into one of my holy grail products.... I absolutely love it! It blends so nicely, I would say its a medium coverage foundation but its definitely build able. This foundation also leaves a dewy finish which looks stunning! It is also a very good foundation for people with dry skin (I have dry skin myself). Overall 10/10 product for me and would definitely be recommending this product to people!

Tips: I love to apply this foundation with a damp real techniques sponge or beauty blender <3
I LOVE this foundation, it has a beautiful natural finish and I would say is medium coverage but could definitely be buildable to a more full too. I have normal to dry skin and I think it works perfectly for my skin type. Its really lightweight and super blendable but also great coverage considering the thin consistancy. Its definately my go-to foundation and will continue to re-purchance over and over. The only down side to this foundation is that its on the more expensive side for a drugstore foundation here it New Zealand.
Tips: I find it applys amazingly with a damp beauty blender or the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.
I have never been satisfied by a drugstore foundation for as long as I can remember. I've been buying the same $70 Lancome foundation for a very long time. After seeing Lauren Curtis continuing to use this L'oreal True Match over the years I finally decided to cave and try it. I was slightly too pale for my Lancome and couldn't be bothered fake tanning so i stopped by farmers to pick up the L'oreal True Match as an in-between. After using it now for a good while i'm positive I won't be going back.
The foundation itself goes on feeling slightly dry but it's still suuuuper blendable. once it's settled in the skin all dry feeling is gone and it becomes silky and soft. I was able to start at a sheer/medium coverage and so easily build it to a full coverage with no caking or orange peel texture. The lasting power is fabulous! I set it with my powder and it didn't move. I feel photoshopped when i wear it but it also feels so natural on the skin.
I have severely dry skin and this is my new go-to!!!!
IN LOVE.
Tips: Apply with a sponge for a natural sheer finish. For full coverage, apply one layer and then apply a second, it builds beautifully.
Fantastic, my skin was glowing, does exactly what it says it does, great coverage, long wear, it actually doesn't feel as if you have anything on your face. This has to be one of my all time favourite products. Perfect skin in a bottle!
All I have to say is AMAZING GO BUY IT!! Not oily, not cakey, last reasonably long, Build-able. My holy grail foundation!
So I decided to jump on the band wagon after hearing so many you tubers say how this was the best drug store liquid foundation. I used to use Napolean liquid foundation and will now save myself the money and stick with the True Match. I use the shade Golden Natural which is fine when I am using fake tan but is a little dark in winter. To date I have been mixing it with a lighter old foundation to make do, but will purchase a lighter shade next time its on sale :o) I love how light and fresh it feels on my skin, it has a neutral scent and is easily blendable. I like how it looks applied both with a brush and a sponge. You can easily add more layers where you need it. It has quite a dewy finish, and I prefer a matt look so I always set it with a little powder or powder foundation as I have an oily t zone. I still need concealer on spots and under my eyes but this easily covers the redness and pigmentation on my cheeks. I am hooked, a couple of pumps is plenty for a full coverage look and mine has lasted me 6 months and still going. I also love it has SPF17.
Tips: If you have oily skin set with powder for a lasting finish.
I've never been one to stick to a foundation-I'll skip from one to one, whatevers cheapest that time or I fancy trying. The only one I've repurchased has been Revlon colorstay, but it was time to try something new that was highly recommended to me! And gosh do I love it. After using a cheaper foundation, I could tell the difference. Even without powder it still looks pretty flawless which is incredible, I personally think they have a good range of colours and stoked it has a pump as well. This is great if you want a really nice long lasting foundation, but something a bit more affordable then Estee Lauder and so on. Not too oily or too drying, so will suit a lot of skin types I think! Give it a go if you like flawless coverage that is pretty full coverage but not 'fake' looking.
Tips: Apply with stippling brush or sponge-it doesn't matter with this one :)
This is my favorite foundation of all time….and I have tried so many! The formula is thin in consistency, provides a medium-full coverage, and gives a great smooth looking semi matte finish to the skin. It blends out really easily, evening skin tone, without being heavy or cakey looking. This works well with or without a primer as long as the face is moisturized, and will last a decent amount of time... for me around 6 hours without needing to touch up areas.
I think that it is probably the best foundation in the 30-50 dollar range, I would recommend this for sure!
After being a Maybelline Fit Me girl for years I came to realise it wasn't that great and thought there must be better options out there. My search led me to the Loreal true Match and I'm so glad it did. This foundation is SO easy to apply. It sits so nicely on the skin and feels really velvety and gorgeous. You only have to use a little bit to get really good coverage, so even though this is one of the more expensive drugstore foundations, I think it is excellent value for money. I find it lasts throughout my whole work day just nicely.
Why is it that finding the right foundation can be such a chore?! I am sure I am not the only one who has purchased a foundation and then has not been happy. Was only a couple a days ago I did just this, spending $80 hoping I was making the right choice but I had lucked out finding it was just not right for everyday use. So I researched and researched and decided to give L'Oreal True Match a try (thanks to reviews on Youtube). I was more than happy to just buy L’Oreal True Match as it was half the price of my last purchase at only $44 from Farmers. I choose to shop at Farmers as I like to support NZ business and I have the opportunity to gain beauty Rewards points.
I have medium to oily warm/yellow toned skin and purchased the L'Oreal True Match in W3 Golden Beige. L'Oreal True Match has an amazing selection of colours and three undertones to choose from C = Cool, W = Warm, N = Neutral which come in a classy glass bottle with 30ml contents (which is pretty standard) and a pump which I love, It makes dispersing and measuring the amount needed so easy.
The formula contains SPF which is great during the summer months as I do not apply sun cream to my face so I feel I am protected, if you are doing a photo shoot you might find this gives you a whiteout effect (I have not tried this so cannot confirm but something to consider for photos). The foundation is so easy to apply; I like to stipple on with Sigma F80 and then buff into my face. It is bendable and does not dry quickly which makes it easy to manipulate around your face. I would say this foundation is a medium coverage but buildable to fuller. I would recommend using a concealer for darker blemishes but the foundation covers redness and minor imperfections easily. You will need to set this with a power as you are left with a Satin Dewy finish and I feel it would remain slightly wet without doing so, I am loving the dewier look at the moment (now I am getting older).. Nothing like young, radiant and glowing skin. If you are after a really Matte finish this may not be the foundation for you. True Match is so easy to wear; you can hardly feel you are wearing it at all! I find it lasts an average day and a simple touch up would make it last even longer without looking cakey.
This is now make everyday go to foundation. I feel radiant and glowing from the inside when I have it on; I get comments on how beautiful and flawless my skin looks. I recommend True Match for anyone wanting a beautiful natural but flawless looking finish that leaves you with a slight dewy healthy glow. I am really blown away how amazing this drugstore foundation is and would recommend everyone give it a go.
Tips: I love applying with Sigma F80 or similar
