I repurchased this a few times now I've tried many other brands/types of serums but I always seem to come back to this one. Decent price and good sied bottle I literally use a little in wet hair to stop it from drying frizzy/fluffy and a tiny drop rubbed in my hands and run through ends of my damaged hair after straightening and it gives shine :)

Tips: A little goes a long way. 'Mid lengths to ends and not roots !
I brought this for my daughter as she has long, blond, curly hair and its very thick! She struggles with frizz on a day basis and brushing even gets really difficult when frizz is at an extreme level. When I tried this in her hair, straight away there was a huge change in the way I was able to manage her hair. The only down fall is because she has such thick hair we tend to use a lot of product. Being an oil its runny and if you don't rub your hands together and slowly add more more to get the results u need. I'm able to brush her hair without her being in pain and tears. I highly recommend this for mums with children who have long frizzy hair as it makes life so much more easier. I found using it with dry hair is a lot more easier and affective than when you place in wet hair like the directions indicate to do.
I picked this up on a whim when my hair wasn't behaving one day. I absolutely HATE serum (I feel like I never get it all off my hands and it feels disgusting) but this one does wash clean as well as work, therefore I like it.
L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum is a golden oil that comes in a golden plastic bottle with a yellow pump action dispenser. Two pumps is enough for my hair, which is about bra clasp length.
This adds shine to hair, weighing it down enough to stop it being flyaway and frizzy while not making it greasy and oily looking. I find it has quite a floral scent, that dissipates as it dries.
As i said, this washes cleanly off hands with a bit of liquid soap, and doesn't transfer from hair (once dry). It's well priced, easy to find in the supermarket, and generally a fabulous wee impulse purchase.
Tips: don't lose the lid. I did and ended up buying a second bottle for travel rather than have it go everywhere
Love. I didnt expect this to work as well as it does. I apply to damp hair after my shower, leave it on over night and my hairs soft and smells great. Makes my hair easier to style too. Will definitely be buying more, I have tried other hair oils but all they did was dry my hair our really bad. Love this stuff
First things first, I have big, curly hair that is super lrone to frizz. For an anti-frizz serum (designed to combat frizz) this did not impress me. For me it was more of a leave in treatment than a styling product, but I do really like the way it smells-it's quite floral and delicate but warm as well. It feels similar to hair oil treatments (quite slippery and a little does go a long way which is good for your wallets), and I do like this, however I feel like using it to reduce frizz is not going to do anything. My hair was soft and shiney, but still had the frizz
Tips: I like to use it in my ends after a shower
I have fine, wavy, frizzy hair, that I get bleached blonde. In other words - I need serum, and a lot of it! And thanks to a BBBE got to try this. I have just finished a whole bottle of it, and it was perfect for my hair. I will definitely be buying this again at what I think it a really fair price. Basically, after washing my hair and semi-drying it, I'd then smooth on 3-4 squirts of this, mostly on to my hair ends and then some over the rest of my hair, massaging it in. My hair would be left silky soft and less frizz-prone. This isn't the best bottle to take away if you have to travel, but that's no boggy - there are plenty of good travel hair products.
After having my last baby a year ago I got the usual hair fallout followed by the frizzy regrowth. Ugh. I also leave it a while in between haircuts so that does not help my problem... hence I purchased this product to try and tame the mane.
This product is easy to use, lasts a while and is much cheaper than the Moroccan oil I also use to fight the fro. I apply this serum after a shower and usually sleep on it before dealing with my hair the following morning. I do find it helps me in that my hair is softer and more manageable with less static. As for those baby hairs it doesn't do too much to help them aside from making them easier to straighten when I use my GHDs.
Good for the price you pay.
This Anti-Frizz Serum is my favourite part of the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense range. It is light-weight, yet smoothing and nourishing. The pump bottle makes it easy to use and gives you control so you can dispense the perfect amount for your hair. My hair is very thin and fine, quite curly and very prone to fluff and fly-aways. I find that oils are often too heavy and even the smallest amount makes my hair look greasy and limp. I use a small pump of this oil through my ends and lengths after blow drying. It smooths my hair and adds shine without weighing it down. Will definitely buy again.
Tips: Don't use too much! Begin application at your ends where hair needs the most nourishment and work the residue left of your hand through your lengths.
Found the product very good easy to use and made my hair feel lovely highly recommended I had been using a very expensive salon product and it wasn't half as good
Tips: Dont use to much a little goes a long way I find it you do use to much it can be heavy on fine hair which is what I have
I bought a bottle of this long time ago. I had a lot of static and frizz so I wondered if this would help smooth things. What I do like about this is that it does help smooth and tame fly aways. When I do straighten my hair a tiny amount adds a nice sheen. If I apply a bit on wet hair after washing my hair dries a bit straighter. The pump can be locked at the top so you don't have to worry about a mess in your drawer or bag. Also because a little goes a really, really long way you a bottle will last you ages. The cons of this product are that it's easy to over apply. Some hair oils or serums you reapply the next day or the day after if your hair is dry. This serum weights down your hair so while this is good for fly aways it can make your hair look greasy and limp. It's best suited to straight hair styles where a nice shine in the lengths look good, but if you are styling your hair with volume and waves or curls this will weigh it down. Some hair oils and serums you can use for both hairstyles to add shine, but this doesn't have that versatility since it weighs down hair. You can use this to tame fly aways but only on the mid lengths of your hair as if you put it any farther up your hair will look greasy. I also don't recommend putting applying to dry hair unless you just straightened it. So overall while this is a good product for straight hair styles it seems to lack that versatility that some other hair oils and serums I've used have. I can't recommend this for short shoulder length hair since it would make your hair look weighed down and greasy. I'm not sure if I would repurchase unless my hair was permanently straight. But I don't need to worry about that for a very long time since I still have half the bottle left.
Tips: If you have short or limp hair this probably isn't the best choice for you. If you have permanently straight and long hair this is a good option to add shine to your mid lengths. I like to apply this after straightening my hair or after washing my hair while it's still wet as it distributes better.
