L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum

My first use of this was a big fat fail, i used a few pumps and applied throughout my hair which made my hair look insanely oily. My second attempt achieved results, i used 1-2 pumps, not applying to the roots and it gave an oily look at first but went away quickly leaving me with a smooth, sleek, less frizzy look - exactly what it says it does! While it didnt contain all of my frizz it did a better job than the other anti-frizz serums i have tried. It smells fantastic (argan oil) and the texture is quite oily. It does stay on your hands after and does not feel nice so make sure you wash your hands well after applying. The bottle is a great size for your makeup bag or handbag, however i found i did not need to use it as a touch up throughout the day so in the bathroom it stays. I am interested to see how much better this serum could be in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner - maybe it will help with the bit of frizz i have left? Another thing i LOVE about this product is the lock on the pump! Genius

This product rocks, I love how my hair feels after I have used this product. My hair is no longer frizzy as hell after washing it, or on a rainy day. I can wash my hair, put this through and forget about it. No need to constantly put it in your hair to top it up and it smells lovely.

Good value for money, and even though the bottle is smaller, it lasts for a long time as long as you only use a small amount. The only downside is that it stays on your hands after applying and can make your hands feel really dry.

Definitely a great buy and would recommend it to anyone who has frizzy hair :)

This product was not exactly what i was expecting, It feels more like cooking oil crossed with lubricant in my hands. Its smells a bit funky (But i don't like the smell of argan oil). I didn't like the feel of it in my hair, Made me feel unclean and un washed. I found it made my hair sticky after 3 or so hours. I have tried many different methods of using it but i really dont like it.

I have just purchased this product and have used many in the padt. I love it and already noticing my hair feeling healthier smoother and nicer.

I currently have 3 serums on my vanity and this, so far, is my favourite. It's runnier than the others which I like as it feels like it spreads through my hair easier, rather than being gel like. It gives a wet look at first but that goes away pretty quickly. It definitely helps my hair feel smoother.

I have pretty frizzy/fluffy hair, and it makes a definite improvement, but if I put it on before work, it won't last the day without going a bit fluffy again. As I say, it's MUCH better than without the serum, but I wouldn't say it's 100% perfect.

It's a product I'd continue to use, it smells good, it's easy to use, and the price point is great comparative to other serums.

I have really frizzy unruly hair and find this product amazing for taming my thick hair. It is one of the nicer serums I have used. I usually but from hair salons too :)

I totally hate hair washing day. Product and straightening still leaves fluffy semi unruley hair. So after washing straightening and apply the anti frizz serum I had lovely, shiney, non frizzy hair. Even the next day a brush through and it was still maintaining the boff. It has a lovely faint smell that is not overpowering.

My hair is naturally very frizzy and dry, and this is really great for it. It is very easy to apply, smells nice, and soaks in well. Putting it in after washing my hair really helps to tame it, and makes it super shiny too. I also notice when I use it before blow drying my hair, that it goes far less fluffy once I have finished drying, which is normally a huge problem for me!

It's pretty effective and has lasting effects between washes. It makes my hair so nice, and this lasts right up until you wash it next - I find it lasts longer than shampoo smell.

I found this product great, very easy too apply (and over apply!) smelt nice and soaked in well. However I just found it too oily for my hair type, made by hair very greasy rather quickly.

I was quite keen to try this, as I have thick frizzy hair that is regularly heat treated..So the first morning I shampooed, conditioned , rinsed , towel dried then serum. I don't know what went wrong here but my hair was terrible. The next time, same scenario BUT I towel dried and left it to dry naturally for an hour or so, used LESS serum than the time before, and wallah! lovely hair with no frizz...a great, weightless, easy to use serum, with a fab lockable pump great for travelling. It smells lovely, and even seems to work taming frizz if you use a TINY bit, on days you don't wash.
