Before I found my Moroccan Oil I tried L'Oreal ELVIVE Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum and was satisfied enough with the results. At the time my hair was very dry and colour damaged so the frizzy bits were very evident. I used this to smooth out fly aways and any other frizzy bits that wouldn't behave themselves. It worked until the serum dried then they frizzed out again. I did however, find that my hair felt soft after using it for about a week so the moisture it got in my hair was great hence the average scoring, Would I get it again? Probably not but if I was stuck for an anti-frizz serum in the middle of no shops then I would definitely use it.

Tips: Good to get some moisture in to your hair
I absolutely love this serum! my hair is so badly damaged due to consistent dying of my hair and heat damage also its really dry, so i normally use this serum after i have shampooed, conditioned and dried my hair, it is just so good. It doesnt make my hair feel heavy at all. It makes my hair so shiny and feel silky and tames the frizz which is its main purpose. It also has a really nice smell! i also use this before and after i straighten or curl my hair, and it just makes my hair feel so healthy and not bristly feeling. One thing that really stood out to me is that it contains argan oil within it, Argan oil is really beneficial for the hair as there are many properties it does, from strengthening hair to improving elasticity of hair. finally i love this product as it is quite cheap. It costs me like $7-8? from countdown. compared to the other ones they supply! i love it so much and would recommend to everybody !
Tips: If you have dry damaged hair, use this after you shampoo, condition and dry your hair, aswell as before and after you curl straighten your hair. Only a small amount is needed, however this differs depending on length and thickness of your hair
I bought this product hoping to add some moisture to my dry, damaged, fine hair. The serum comes in a small bottle with a pump dispenser- at first I was really pleased with this feature but quickly realised that one pump was way too much for my hair so I ended up with sticky hands! To use, pump onto your palms and distribute evenly through the ends and mid lengths of your hair. The product feels silicony and has no determinable smell. Unfortunately, this product was way too heavy for my hair and left it looking oily and stringy. I think it is more suited to coarser, thicker hair.
I have wavy to curly hair and I like to wear it down a lot but it can get quite frizzy. I thought I would try this product to see if it would help. I found that it was ok, My hair didnt change that much, and it left my hair really oily and I needed to wash it more often. I think if would be ok if your hair isnt crazy frizzy.
I am a huge fan of Argan oil products and L'Oreal products. Hair is a unique thing what works for some doesn't always work for others. Sadly this didn't make any noticeable difference to my hair other than fragrance. However it did not make my hair greasy, so perhaps a low level of silicone in the product?
While I am always dubious of anti Frizz claims I had hoped for some nourishment to my very dry hair.
Possibly a better product for not so dry hair. It is priced attractively aswell
Tips: Needs to be applied to damp hair.
This hair product is a great way to tame the frizz! I use this hair product after I have straitened my hair to smooth the static hair. The thing I love about this product is that it leaves your hair silky and shiny without that greasy oily feel, and it smells great! :) This product has lasted me over 3 months as you only need the smallest amount to add to your hair.
Tips: Only add a small amount to the ends of your hair to avoid greasiness :)
I've been using this serum for years now!! I've tried other argan oils in between but have always gone back to this one so now I don't waste my money on anything else.
I have frizzy, curly and heat damaged hair. I use it daily after straightening or curling my hair to eliminate static and frizz. I find it absolutely fine to use each day between washes and never makes my hair oily. (I wash hair approx. every 3rd day)
The convenient pump function means you get the right amount each time without over doing it (often the problem with hair serums) I often only need one pump and I have medium to long hair. Even though there is no lid or cap on the bottle it has a lock function which is perfect for travel and I've never had one leak. (Touch wood!)
A 50ml bottle lasts me ages even with daily use so is great value for money, id be totally gutted if L'Oréal ever stopped making this!
Tips: Dont confuse it with the L'Oréal serum in a large glass bottle which costs more, it doesn't compare at all! I know from experience!!
I bought this at the supermarket because the colour looked nice and it smelt amazing! A good start. It has argan oil in and I just love that. I dry and straighten my hair almost daily and it suffers. I would say only to use a small amount because that is all you need, but too much you run the risk of leaving your hair oily. It leaves your hair shiny and smooth and at $12.99 for 100mls I feel this is great value.
This is a average hair product . It tames your hair and reduces the fizz but I have used much better products . Didn't make the most difference to my hair .
This is better than other supermarket argan oil versions I have tried, but it's not that great for my hair. It is still a tad prone to making my hair look greasy. It is smooth, siliconey in texture and has a nice scent, but it doesn't make my hair feel that great compared to my slightly more expensive oils/serums. Quite runny in consistency and I like the pump dispenser but that's about all.
