I have wavy to curly hair and I like to wear it down a lot but it can get quite frizzy. I thought I would try this product to see if it would help. I found that it was ok, My hair didnt change that much, and it left my hair really oily and I needed to wash it more often. I think if would be ok if your hair isnt crazy frizzy.

I had really high hopes for the L'Oreal ELVIVE Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum but unfortunately it did not quite meet them and I have been left a bit disappointed with the performance of this product! I use serums all the time, albeit usually salon brand, however I had a benchmark that this serum was unable to meet.
The packaging was really lovely, it definitely did not look like a $12.99 bottle from the supermarket. When I read the back of the box that it came in I was really excited to read that it included Argan Oil and would moisturise my hair. Unfortunately I found the serum to be be very greasy and oily in my hands and then I had to be really careful to ensure that it was all rubbed into the ends of my hair so it wouldn't leave it greasy. The first time I used it I used it close to my roots and my hair looked oily.
One of my pet peeves is flyaways and I thought that this serum would really help in reducing the flyaways that I have. Again I didn't think that this product did very well in doing this.
I have read some great reviews about L'Oreal ELVIVE Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum but it just wasn't the product for me unfortunately!
I am currently half way through one of theses, and unfortunate to say I don't think I'll be repurchasing. I have natural curly, sometimes frizzy hair, and if I put this in my hair wet or dry it looks like I've just put heaps of oil in my hair that isn't doing anything. But I when I apply to my hair after straightening it works a bit better as an anti frizz serum, but it doesn't seem to hold for very long. It is worth a try if you are having a frizz problem, because everyone has different hair. the only thing is you def do not want to put to much because then your hair will look like a grease ball.
This is an okay product which does improve the appearance of my hair somewhat, but it doesn't perform as well as others I've tried.
I would run it through the ends of my hair after blowdrying or when they were looking dull and frizzy. It definitely looks like you've put a serum in your hair afterwards, so while it does improve it somewhat, it definitely doesn't look like you've got beautiful naturally un-frizzy hair!
When first using this product, I noticed I was needing to use quite a lot in my hair. I felt like it was quite gluggy, when I feel like oil should be runny and smooth. I apply this product straight after straightening my hair, and find it smooths my hair nicely but doesn't last in the hair very long. Has a yummy smell!
I was so underwhelmed by this. It's admittedly not terrible and does have it's positive points (the amazing smell for one) but I won't be repurchasing and I expected more.
I've been using coconut oil to tame frizz but there was a buy 3 for $15 promotion OK Elvive at Countdown so thought I'd give this a go as sometimes it's a fine line between soft and shiny and greaseball with coconut oil.
The product is very slick textured. I feel like it sticks to my hands more than my hair which I don't like and haven't had from a product before. It takes a full wash to remove it and you definitely can't get away with not washing hands after.
It performed OK I guess but I've used other supermarket serums that were much better and coconut oil far exceeds it. My hair is in great condition for a bottle blonde and it struggled to tame my very limited frizz so am unsure how it would fare on anyone with serious frizz.
I was so excited when I receive this product to try out. I have a thick wavy hair and I usually have a hard time managing the frizz. The packaging was neat and the lockable pump made it easier to carry around in the bag without worrying about spillage. It has a nice smell. I tried this product on my hair and left it to dry naturally and found that it did not deliver the results I was hoping to get. It did'nt do anything for my thick wavy hair. I did try it again, but this time straighten my hair, found that it made my hair smooth and soft. This serum works better for me with styling rather than the first option. It is lightweight but has the tendency to make my hair feel greasy. It is reasonably price compare to other supermarket brands thus will make me probably use it again. The product works to some extent but in contrast to other serum I have used before, is not the best.
Tips: Try just one pump at first and adjust so you don't get the greasy feel.
First just a little about my hair. I have had oily hair for the longest time until recently. The last few times I have been to the hairdresser they have suggested a deep conditioning treatment because it has been dry and damaged. It still gets oily after a few days, but I can feel that it is dry and I get a lot of flyaways.
I like the packaging, it pumps easily and it doesn't squirt a whole lot out. It smells nice, like the other products and the smell lingers a little - I can smell it when I swish my hair.
I really liked the shampoo and conditioner, but I wasn't quite so convinced by the serum. The first time I used it I think I overdid it. My hair looked like it was at LEAST second day hair. I was less heavy handed the second time, but I still felt that it left my hair looking a little oily. I wondered if a spray would help me out as it would disperse the product more, rather than me ending up putting too much in one place. Using it before drying it worked much better than attempting to keep down flyaways from dry hair.
I think this might be better on hair that is quite dry and frizzy, mine is just borderline really and the shampoo and conditioner combo seems to keep that in check without needing the serum too, I will stick to my Matrix frizz control if I need it.
Tips: Use on damp hair if you don't have quite frizzy hair.
I found this made my hair very oily and didn't help too much with the frizz. But it did make my hair feel healthy and soft
I bought this product hoping to add some moisture to my dry, damaged, fine hair. The serum comes in a small bottle with a pump dispenser- at first I was really pleased with this feature but quickly realised that one pump was way too much for my hair so I ended up with sticky hands! To use, pump onto your palms and distribute evenly through the ends and mid lengths of your hair. The product feels silicony and has no determinable smell. Unfortunately, this product was way too heavy for my hair and left it looking oily and stringy. I think it is more suited to coarser, thicker hair.
