Did not enjoy this shampoo unfortunately, it left my hair very oily after washing and rinsing well. I usually love L'ORÉAL products so must be the coconut causing this reaction. After washing my hair was more oily than it was before!

I bought both the shampoo and conditioner as my ends were really dry, and my hair just overall felt lifeless. The promise of no weigh down ad intense nourishment sounded promising. I do admit that I do have an oily scalp, however, I was not prepared for the oil slick that was left on my roots. I even tried not applying th conditioner to the roots and only applying it to the ends, this did not seem to help. Which made me realise the Shampoo was also leaving an oily residue. My hair was oilier, and greasier than before I washed my hair. I would recommend to someone that perhaps doesnt have an oily scalp, but to be fair, I did not expect the weigh down that was promised wouldn't happen.
Tips: Maybe don't use if you have an even slightly oily scalp
I love this product. I buy it all the time for my daughter. It leaves her hair soft, well nourished l and not weighted down. Added bonus that the smell is amazing!
This was my go too Shampoo range back a feed years ago. Made my hair feel soft with out stripping my natural oils, tamed my frizz it was just amazing! I still go back to it now that they have taken out the yuckies x Smells so good too x
Tips: To feel the true results of the Shampoo coincide with the Conditioner, you feel like your ready for summer x
I purchased this shampoo after wanting to change up my hair routine and reading other reviews on here. Happy with the change! This shampoo has a lovely coconut scent and my hair looks so clean and beautiful once washed! My natural curls / waves hold well and don’t go fizzy like with other shampoos!
Lovely fragrance. A small amount of shampoo was enough to get plenty of lather for my shoulder length hair. I didn’t need to use as much conditioner as with other brands. I did find my hair felt a bit heavy when dry, however a bonus was less flyaways. I will use these products again.
Tips: A little goes a long way so use small amounts until you get enough lather.
the scent of this is quite interesting it is a mix of coconut and caramel with a really slight fresh fruity or floral twist this is not a strong in your face coconut scent like others. I think lovers of caramel or praline fragrances would like the smell of this shampoo. As far Loreal products I went off them for a while as they test on animals but say that they do not which misleads people because for example they own the body shop which also claims to not test on animals yet the additives to source products and things that make up the product could be tested on animals and or not from a sustainable or ethical source. This being said plenty of its competitors test on animals too or sell in china too. I really did love the scent from a conditioner from this line years ago before I changed to silicone/diamenthicone free stuff so that and the double points on Loreal products from BR right now really got me to go out and seek some Loreal brand products to review/. This shampoo is nice enough and appealing with the golden yellow bottle and I have already mentioned how it smells. To start off my hair seems to like the product seems to smooth the hair some what (I did not try the matching conditioner yet) and lathered quite easily - its not sulfate free. I am not fully convinced that this does not strip your hair of natural oils it might just seem that way because coats the hair in " extra ordinary " oil - coconut. Coconut can help smooth but it can clog pores so I won't use this with out alternating between every few washes. I also read some where that if your hair is already dry that coconut might actually not be a good idea Coconut oil can cause protein build up for these hair types, blocking your hair from much needed moisture which makes your hair even drier, stiffer and less elastic. Less elasticity means more breakage when combing or styling. Therefore, using coconut oil as a hair mask can actually make your hair drier, brittle and more damaged than it was before! interesting right? anyway, I am not totally sold on this shampoo though it is nice to use some times I am not in a big rush to get another one.
This product definitely does what it says! The smell is divine, and I love the design of the packaging. My only downfall is that after use, even though my hair feels soft and lush, it does feel a little bit heavy after drying, an oily type feel that I wouldn't usually go for. However I still really like this product and will continue using it until I run out :)
I have tried a lot of different shampoos, but L'Oreal's Elvive range is one that I often revisit. When I first heard about extraordinary oil, I knew it was one I'd have to try.
The shampoo was a typical moderate consistency and lathered reasonably. Most importantly, it left my hair feeling clean but not stripped.
The shampoo on it's own did exactly what I required, but for me the jury is still out on the range as a whole.
Leaves hair feeling soft after. Feels less stripping than traditional shampoo. Scent is like summer in a bottle 🥥🌺
