First up, I must confess that I rarely use liquid shampoos anymore after moving onto Ethique shampoo bars about 4 years ago. Every now and then I like to dip back into a suoer foam, fragranced shampoo for a change. I saw this range in Chemist Warehouse and thought I'd give it a go as I have highlighted, dry, wavy hair. The shampoo itself is quite thick and feels high end. The fragrance is so strong.. I find it over powering and sickly but that may just be my tastes. The foam... wow, the foam is a lot! Again, this may just be me but I find it too much and needs a lot of rinsing. In regards to the claims on the bottle regarding less breakage, more shine, healthier hair... I cant say I noticed anything. I'm not even sure that citric acid in this low level, left on for such a short time would do anything anyway. As such, I think this is overpriced and nothing special. I dont like the coaching it leaves on my hair which weighs it down.

I have short dark color treated hair I have had poor experiences with previous elvive shampoos but I’m always willing to try new ones and give them a chance I saw this and even though my hair wasn’t dry or damaged I used it for nearly a week now and so far I’ve found it to be nourishing and repairing as it claims to do. I even use it without a conditioner and my hair looks full and suffers less hair Loss. It hydrated my forehead and leave no flakes or dryness like previous shampoos. It has a slight scent while lathering but not overpowering which is important to me as I don’t want the skunk feel afterwards . A little goes a long way so unless you have as much hair as bob Marley you dont need much to get a rich smooth lather.
Tips: I recommend this for short or long hair with or without conditioner
This makes my hair sooo shiny and soft - i have quite dry hair amd I feel this shampoo helps keep my hair healthy and hydrated. I notice a massive difference in my hair when I stop using this, and try a different shampoo. Other shampoos dont compare compared to this one. I love the smel too
This shampoo is by far my favorite to buy. It is reasonably priced around $4- $6 at the supermarket and without fail makes my hair feel so strong and healthy. It has a very pleasant and high end scent. My hair feels noticeably stronger, more shiny and healthy after each wash. I use it about twice a week as it doesn't make my hair oily so no need to over wash. I recommend this product to all my friends and family members for a salon quality shampoo at an affordable price.
Tips: I always shampoo twice and notice it immensely improves my hair quality.
Great supermarket shampoo. Very affordable product. I love the smell and how nicely it lathers. I have oily roots but dry ends, so love this product as it’s not too heavy on the roots but conditions the ends of my hair.
Tips: I usually lather it on and let it sit for a couple of minutes before washing it off to get the full benefits from using it.
I have been working my way through this shampoo for a while now and haven’t really noticed much difference in the condition of my hair. I have to admit though that my hair is pretty dry and lacklustre as it’s had many years of the hair dryer aimed at it and of course lots of colouring as well, but even coupling it with its matching conditioner it was still quite lifeless. It lathers up well, smells good and certainly well priced, but just doesn’t suit my hair.
Tips: Don’t quite fully rinse the conditioner off, this leaves it feeling a bit more nourished.
It wasn’t the best I didn’t notice any change in my dry and damaged hair whilist using this range.
Smells nice and lathers up well makes your hair feel clean but fails to deliver results.
After getting my hair coloured a few weeks ago it needed a bit of extra care. The ends were a wee bit dryer than usual.
The colours only in the ends so I paired this with the matching conditioner. I use this with conditioning treatments once a week also and these require me to shampoo condition as usual so it’s used everyday.
It’s good value for money - a larger bottle than my usual shampoos. It lathers quite well so I don’t need to use a lot. Grabbed mine for $5.99 which I think is reasonable.
It’s smell is beyond words. It’s delicious. Smells a lot like a salon shampoo outside it’s price range so am very happy. Not fruity more floral but it’s a hard one to describe. It’s a long lasting scent anyhow.
It’s lathers and rinses well, is not a heavy formula so I didn’t get product buildup. Left my hair light and clean.. not greasy thank goodness as my roots get greasy easily.
In terms of repair it’s hard to tell but my hair feels smoother and is more manageable so I’m guessing it’s worked to smooth the hair cuticles.
I would buy again. I like to mix up shampoos so am not loyal to one brand but would probably use this as one of my go to brands.
I had run out my salon Keratin shampoo and needed to get something that could do the job while out of town. So when I tried this I was pleasantly surprised. It works well not greasy and make the hair feel great.
Tips: If on a budget best Keratin shampoo you could buy.
I purchased this along with the matching conditioner. It comes in a 300ml bottle but you can also buy it in a 1 litre with a pump. It's quite affordable especially when on special, I got it for around $6 at Countdown.
First off it smells incredible, something I always want in a shampoo. I love the creamy texture of this, it lathers up beautifully. I always shampoo twice, first to get rid of any product I've used then again to make sure my hairs really clean. It washes out easily, I have dyed hair and do get a tiny bit of colour washout but it's nothing major.
Once dry my hair looks and feels great. Less frizz, beautiful shine and really hydrated. It definitely works best when paired with the matching conditioner. They have a mask too if you want an extra boost! Definitely recommend this, a great affordable shampoo.
Tips: Use with the matching conditioner
