I liked the results left my hair feeling smooth and looking shiny. Didn't need to use a lot either which I thought was very economical.Yes I would use again although at $8.99 its at the upper end of what I would normally buy in store.

Tips: A 50 cent size amount on your palm is more than enough.
This shampoo gave what it claimed to, the result was soft, lustrous hair which was easy to manage and comb.
Tips: Use every couple of days to keep your hair soft and manageable
This shampoo is great. I wanted to join the trial as have shoulder length coloured hair which is prone to breakage. The shampoo is thick and creamy which lathers so only requires an amount of a $2 coin. After rinsing my hair felt nourished. Using both the shampoo and conditioner my hair is stronger, shiny, soft and bouncy.
Tips: Use with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner. Less is best - it lathers well.
The packaging of this shampoo is perfect for small spaces on edge of bath to stand upright.. the shampoo claims to improve health of hair, restoring shine and much more.. and true to L'Oreal style , it delivered...the shampoo is a nice thick consistency and lathers well .. a little goes a long way. End result highly recommend to friends with damaged hair or those needing a nourishing treatment.
Tips: Shampoo bottle recommends using the shampoo with matching conditioner.. I agree for best results use the set.
L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo is a decent supermarket branded shampoo. I love the smell of the shampoo, it's typical of most of the Loral hair care range. I can't quite decipher the smell but it is pleasant with a mixture of floral and fruity scents.
The consistency of the shampoo L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo is creamy and foams up well but I needed more shampoo then i would typically use with other brands to get full coverage of the product.
I used L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo every 2-3 days for about a week and a half and I found that immediately after washing the shampoo out of my hair, my hair would become all matted and really dry (how that can even be possible when you are in the shower is beyond me!) but i found that using the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner in conjunction with the shampoo takes this problem away.
I also have the L'Oréal treatment mask and I tried using this after using the shampoo and conditioner once to compare the results and it worked wonders! My hair was left feeling fuller with more bounce. It also felt silkier. So this is one of those times where you really need to use the full product range to fully benefit from this product.
The only thing that I was not happy about was that I started to get flyaways since using L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo but I have found that by putting a little hair creme in towel dried hair solves this issue. KMS Freeshape Hot Flex Creme is perfect.
Overall, I would continue to use this product but would not go out of my way to buy this product, especially if it was full priced (RRP$8.99). I have seen it on special at the Pak N Save supermarket for $4.00 each and I think this is a more realistic price tag. but if you want to see the full results of this product it has to be used in conjunction with the conditioner and leave in conditioner.
Tips: Great for someone on a budget however to fully maximise this product you should use it in conjunction with the conditioner and leave in conditioner.
I wasn't impressed at all with this product. The consistency and smell was fine but it left my hair feeling really dry. Without the conditioner it just felt like a big matted mess and left my hair feeling really dry and fluffy once it was dry. I used it on my daughters hair also and she's prone to having really oily hair normally. It worked well on her hair but with no improvement to any damage.
I used this shampoo for about 3 weeks every 2nd to 3rd day, I couldn't honestly notuce a difference maybe because you could call me a "salon snob" as I normally have been using loreal shampoo brought at the salon. Maybe if I had the treatment to follow up because it does say to follow up with that after. I did find I was left with a very strong perfume smell for most of the day which I wasnt too keen on. It didnt make my hair feel any dryer so defently if you cant afford salon products this is a great affordable alternative.
Tips: Maybe purchase the treatment to get the full benefits :-)
I felt that this shampoo had a very pleasant scent which lasted nicely in my hair. It lathered up really easily which made me feel like my hair was getting a thorough cleaning. The five claims say that it should make your hair: 1. Feel stronger. 2. Look fuller. 3. Look revitalised. 4. Silkier to touch. 5. With a healthier shine. Personally the only one of these five that I noticed was the added shine so I was a bit disappointed.
Tips: It worked best when I used both the shampoo and the conditioner :)
To start, my first impression of this shampoo was that it smelt amazing. The smell also stays on for some more time after washing.
It lathers very well and removes off all the oil in just one wash. No second wash is needed. It leaves the scalp and hair clean and fresh.
L'Oreal claimed this shampoo would restore my hair back to its optimum health, however the product was a little disappointing. I don't think it made my hair any better than it was before. It did make my hair incredibly straight if I washed before bed and woke up in the morning which was a bonus.
I started off with high hopes with this product, and it just didn't live up to its expectations, I probably wouldn't purchase this type next time around.
I liked this shampoo it made my hair feel fresh and clean and has a nice smell. I do bleach my hair every 4 months and have been using saloon hair care which is very expensive so was looking forward to finding a cheaper option for my hair. I did find after a few weeks use my hair was starting to dry out again so had to go back to saloon shampoo. But I have to say it was a lot nicer on my hair than other supermarket brands.
