L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo

The packing to this amazing product is great, its not too bulky and fits nicely in my shower. The consistency of the shampoo is great, its easy to apply, and not thick like other shampoos. The formula smells nice and I fin it has a distinct smell, but I love it. I had colored my hair a week before the product arrived, surprisingly my hair has hardly lost any colour. Not only has the shampoo and conditioner helped to fix my un rurly hair, it has helped keep the red colour in my hair. My hair now has a great shine, without it looking greasy. I have noticed that you can buy this product from local supermarkets so its worth a try! I would recommend this product to my friends :]

I quite liked the Maroon on White for the colour and label of the bottle. Has a lovely scent that lasted most of the day and wasnt too over bearing. sort of fruity scent. A friend of mine said that the colour of my hair, naturally brunette and now naturally streaked with white, looked darker. I noticed that my hair was alot shinier and felt smoother and softer to touch. I had a quite dry and split ends before I started using this shampoo, now it feels and looks healthier. I also noticed that my hair felt cleaner, i think the previous brand i was using had left some sort of build up on my hair. The only thing i was disappointed with was that i ended up with dandruff after about a week and a half of using the shampoo and conditioner.

In love with this shampoo I was sceptical at first as no shampoos have ever been able to properly clean my hair without it being greasy as soon as it's dried or the day after being washed! I washed my hair with this and went 2 days before my hair became greasy and needed to be washed. My hair is very dry and the shampoo worked to help bring a little life to this although this is more the part that the conditioner plays. The smell was amazing as well and I had compliments from people saying my hair smelt fantastic which was very good for the confidence. My hair was less tangled and didn't sit flat on my head. I am totally thrilled with this shampoo and will continue to buy this brand I have recommended to many of my friends already and I think it's fantastic for any hair type!

thank you for letting me trial L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo, it smelled lovely, I didnt need to use to much and it left my hair feeling better, i dont know about restored, but I liked it so much I went out and purchased some more.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first squeezed the shampoo into my hand, it felt creamy and smelt divine. My first impression was that it felt really moisturising (even on my skin), and the smell was so good (not too perfumed and overpowering), it was delicately scented. You don’t need to use a lot as it lathers well, it lathers into a nice creamy consistency rather than a really foamy one. In comparison to the shampoos I normally use, which are normally supermarket brands, I think it is definitely a step up from your normal supermarket brand. I’m not sure how it would compare with a more expensive salon one but it is definitely the best supermarket brand I have tried. My hair felt clean and smooth after shampooing. And it did feel fuller without being weighed down and feeling oily. The bottle is really nice too, it stands up in the shower caddy and is quite narrow so doesn’t take up too much room. After using this for a few weeks I have noticed a difference when washing my hair, it doesn’t seem to feel as tangled and knotty after shampooing, it is definitely softer and has more body.

This shampoo first off has a really nice scent which does linger in the hair which is something i like in a shampoo, although that is where my praise for this product seems to come to a hault. This product was extremely drying to my hair (I have quite thin bleached hair). When i would apply this in my hair and lather it up it felt like a big matted mess on my head. once rinsed it feels very dry which surprised me as this product claims to make your hair feel stronger, look revitalized etc. I feel like maybe if you were a person with extremely oily hair or you use a lot products this would be a good product for you but my hair just did not like it.

LOVE this range! I constantly had people asking if I had just had my hair done after using this, from the first wash! (I haven't had my hair done in 5 months) And lots of compliments. I can definitely tick the 5 boxes - Restored, Stronger, Vitaliy, Silky to touch and Healthy shine It didn't leave an oily residue and my hair lasted a good few days before needing to be washed again. It had a nice perfume. I rated it 5/5 for all three catagories, I will definitely purchase again and recommend to friends!

I have thick hair which I straighten daily and also colour so it is very dry and needs a lot of moisture. I liked the packaging of this product and loved the smell but I didnt feel it lived up to any of its promises.

My hair felt very straw like after using it and the only added shine I noticed was from the conditioner, not the shampoo. It also made my scalp itch and feel very dry/irritated. Would not repurchase.

I usually use salon shampoo and conditioner so this had alot to live up to. I definitely had a nice smell and felt like it washed my hair well. The biggest difference I noticed between this and salon shampoos was how much more product I needed to use where a pea sized amount would usually be enough. I also found that my hair didn't feel very nice after use and I needed heaps of conditioner to go through my hair. Unfortunately I can't say I enjoyed this product and will continue to use the salon ones. With the amount you use it works out cheapier anyway.

I was pretty excited to try this shampoo. My hair was a bit damaged due to always colouring it and using shampoo for coloured hair was just keeping the colour a bit longer and shinier not really looking after the health of the hair. THIS shampoo though after a few weeks has been great! my hair feels stronger, shinier, healthier even! I have noticed that when brushing not as many hairs are coming out or breaking which is awesome. The smell is great, not overpowering and feels really clean without the stripping feeling before the conditioner goes on. All in all a great shampoo I would use again and recommend to friends as well!
