It has a nice thick consistency which lathers up well. This is important to me as I have thick hair, and I feel get a better clean when there’s lots of foam. It smells fine, not strong or overpowering, and I did find that there wasn’t a lingering smell of freshly washed hair like others have. It keeps my hair as clean as long as I would expect, requiring a wash roughly every 3 to 4 days. I would consider the price per mls acceptable, but a little on the expensive side for my liking. The packaging is also good with the easy flip top lid as I prefer these over a pump bottle. Finally the results, I found it did what it claimed when it came to added shine and being silkier to touch, but as for my hair feeling stronger and looking fuller, not so much.

Tips: Ensure it lathers up properly before rinsing.
I like this shampoo, it lathered well and my hair didn't feel stripped after using either. It smelt nice and the consistency was smooth and silky to touch. It was measurable too good supermarket product. Although I wouldn't say it was outstanding, it did the job but not worth raving about ..
Tips: Always shampoo twice I find it really helps to deeply cleanse my oily scalp.
First impressions. I feel that there is too much going on with the packaging and that perhaps it could be simplified to make it less busy and more attractive to the eye.
I found that it lathered nicely and was easy to use. However with both the shampoo and conditioner I found the scent too strong and a little off putting.
My hair was definitely shinier, and softer to the touch. Rather than being fuller though I felt my hair looked frizzy and harder to work with than previously.
If this product didn't make my hair so frizzy and the scent was more subtle then I would definitely use it again and my hair was definitely the shiniest it's been.
This shampoo is okay, but definitely not great.
The texture is very runny, and the scent is quite light. It foamed up a lot, so I only had to use a very small amount, which I like.
My hair feels full, clean, and manageable, however it's duller than usual which is disappointing.
I won't be buying this again.
Tips: It foams up a lot, so just use a small amount!
I'm a tad obsessed with my hair, so was very excited to be selected to try this product.
Lovely packaging. Opening the bottle, it smelled amazing. I applied to my hair, lathered up well. A little goes a long way. After rinsing, my hair was tangle free which is a great bonus.
Biggest test for me is once I've blow-dried my hair. It was noticeable fully, a lot softer, had a lovely healthy shine.
After 2 weekes of using this product my hair looks and feels so much stronger and healthier. I use to have to wash my hair everyday but now its every second day, which means it last longer, score!
Will I use this product again? YES!! Finally a shampoo that does do everything it says it will do. I'm a happy lady :)
I have been doing all kinds of crazy things with my hair for a long time....so naturally its not in the best condition. I have used Elvive (the red bottles) years ago and was alway impressed but after having to strip the red out of my hair, I needed something with a bit more power. Packaging - Plain, simple and effective! I actually like the white with the red/gold ish design all over it.
Smell - Very pleasant....not the best I have smelt and not the worst. This isn't of importance to me.
Lathering - I condition my hair first (to help keep my vibrant colour lasting longer) and then when I put the shampoo in, I found it didn't lather to much which was great! I find it otherwise dries my hair out way to much.
What it claims: 1. Feeling stronger. - After doing 4 washes now with this, I will say that my hair doesn't seem to be snapping as much.
2. Looking fuller. - Cant say I have noticed it looking any fuller, but this is also not something I am looking for.
3. Looking revitalised.- Yes looks sooo much healthier now and have a better shine to it!
4. Silkier to touch. - Working with the conditioner as a team - 100% increase....I try to look after my hair so I will quite likely get this and continue to use it in turn with my treatments.
5. With a healthier shine. - Once I straighten it there seems to be a little bit more of a shine then normal!
All in all I am well impressed with this product and will consider seriously to purchase again as I am loving how my hair is now :)
Tips: Use sparingly as just because it doesn't lather up it does do it's job :)
I have very dry hair and I put lots of products in it to tame the frizziness so a good shampoo that gets rid of all the buildup without drying out my hair is important for me. I am on the fence with the packaging, it looks cheap but it's not too bad. I think if they simplified it and put less stuff on the bottle it would be better. I also prefer bottles that are more squeezy and flexible so you can get every last drop out of the bottle. The smell is nice, nothing special, just normal shampoo smell. I like it. However when I put the shampoo on my hair it feels amazing! It lathers up so much and feels very very moisturising, especially for a shampoo. But it also feels very cleansing and my hair feels very clean after but not dried out. Another good thing is that my hair does not go yuck and tangled after I rinse it out! I am very happy with this shampoo. I have been using it with the conditioner for a little over a week and my hair feels soft. One annoying thing however is that it seems to kill the curls in my hair, normally when my hair dries naturally it goes wavy curly but after using this it just goes wavy and not as curly. To get over this I use curling products so it is not a big issue.
Tips: Good for people with dry hair who want nice soft hair
Overall this is a nice shampoo, but nothing special! I do like it, but it hasn't become my holy grail or anything. This shampoo cleaned my hair and it did feel nice, but I doubt my hair would've felt that soft if I had not also used conditioner. I noticed no difference in amount of split ends, but the product does smell great and If i had used for a longer amount of time, I may have seen more of a difference. My hair felt fuller but still lacked the volume i am desperately seeking
Tips: Use with conditioner for best results!!
I have never tried a L'oreal Paris shampoo before, so i was pretty intrigued to try this one. Its consistency is very thick which i really liked because it meant that i didn't feel like i had to use as much of the product meaning that the product lasts longer. It was also very easy to apply and use. It has a very masculine smell. Its not a bad smell, its just one that's not very feminine. I was able to go 3 days without needing to wash my hair again which is really good. Thats 1 day longer than with my usual shampoo. This was surprising to me because usually i have very oily hair, and so i need to wash it every second day. On the other hand, my hair turned very dry and frizzy the day after using this shampoo. It was hard to control and put into a pony tail. This shampoo also brought back my dry and itchy scalp which i had just managed to get on top of. Overall, i don't think i would recommend this to a friend as its not really worth the money and you can get a shampoo that is a lot cheaper and do a better job.
The shampoo had a lovely scent and was actually quite pleasant to use. It lathered up nicely (and was even better with the second shampoo in a row) and when it washed out my hair didn't feel like it was in a mattered mess. I quite like this shampoo. I would buy it.
Tips: Wash your hair twice in a row. You get a much better lather and then the conditioner seems to take better!
