The smell of this product first caught my attention, it smells amazing and almost like the salon. On the first few washes I used the shampoo along with my normal super market conditioner and I noticed a smoothness to the ends of my hair (wear all of the breakage is) and it was left silky all over. I also noticed the shampoo made my hair look fuller, it didn't feel a lot fuller but it looked it which was nice. On the 4th wash I had purchased the Loreal Elvive treatment also and used this too. The too products combined left my hair feeling amazing. It did all it was promised and my hair definitely had a healthy shine. I do however straighten my hair regularly so I think for someone who doesn't use heat on their hair it would be revitalized and feel stronger a lot faster and find it more effective.

Tips: If you used it in conjunction with the conditioner and treatment, with no heat styling for a week straight, I think you would get the absolute most out of this product.
This is a perfect shampoo for those with damaged hair and want a solution that's not gonna break their pockets. The packaging is as L'Oreal as it gets, which is good. The fragrance is sweet and not so overpowering. It lathers great so you don't need a lot and thus, a bottle goes a long way. What I enjoy about this shampoo is how much soft and shiny my hair becomes after I use it. Plus, it smells great! This one's a sure favorite.
Tips: Use regularly to attain the benefits and use with conditioner for more hair softness.
I received a bottle of this as a trial item. It was okay but not brilliant. During application and directly after rinsing my head felt a little itchy (beware sensitive skin sufferers!). My hair did seem a little softer but also more frizz prone after use. I'm not really sure it affected the general hydration of my hair, it still felt fairly dry to me. I could only use twice though (before my review time expired) so it was a little bit hard to tell. I would say it's pretty similar to your standard supermarket brand shampoos. Don't expect hair miracles, you'll be disappointed.
Tips: If you have a sensitive scalp try and rinse as soon as you can, don't let it sit. I would probably recommend more natural products for those with dry/easily irritated skin.
I am pretty brave in the hair department. ... i often change from white blonde to dark brown and back again. Recently I had a hair disaster at a salon attempting to go blonde . The hairdresser had to have 3 goes over 2 days to fix her stuff up. I couldn't get a brush throgh my hair and couldn't straighten as my hair was so brittle and dry it was just breaking. A friend recommended this shampoo so I gave it a go. My hair has never felt so good. It's smooth, soft, strong, and smells great. I even went back get the treatments and leave in. Very impressed.
i love elvive shampoos and conditioners, but not so much this one. it has a lovely smell yes, but i find my hair doesnt react with it well and i find it just like any other product, nothing special. these used to be priced at 14.99 each years ago, so awesome you can get them for 7-9bucks!!
I found it made my hair very tangled but this could be different if I had the conditioner. I didn't find it repaired my hair in anyway and I wouldn't change what I use now for this.
Tips: if you are going to try this buy the conditioner as well.
Smells nice, cleans your hair well, I wouldn't say that it 'repairs' damaged hair though unfortunately. Its a good cheap affordable supermarket shampoo, you get what you pay for though.
Tips: Use with the matching conditioner.
The first thing I noticed about this shampoo was it's lovely smell! It was very nice to lather in and embrace it's scent while getting ready for work and I was also pleasantly surprised at how soft my hair felt throughout the day! I need to tie my hair up for my job and even then, my hair at the end of the day would usually need a good brush to get rid of the knots. I couldn't get over how shiny and silky I found it this time around though :) my hair looks and feels somewhat healthier and I must say I am very impressed! I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member who also tends to suffer from oily hair - it did the trick for me! :)
This is the shampoo i use with the conditioner, works very well, for the price it is very good for someone who wants to look after their hair on a budget, the shampoo doesnt lather up too much and doesnt tangle like other shampoos do, I love the smell of the conditioner and leaves your hair silky smooth
Tips: Only apply shampoo to roots and apply conditioner only to tips of your hair to make your shampoo and conditioner last longer
My opinion is "meh...." i found it made me hair rather oily and didnt really repair and restore as i would have hoped due to having damaged hair, i think maybe it would be good for maintaining healthy hair though. i did like the smell of it :)
