L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Eye Cream

I have been using L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Eye Cream each night for 7 nights now. I have used only at night as I found my rushed morning regime didn't allow enough time for the eye cream to soak in, before applying foundation and I got a bit of caking in the area.

L'Oreal say "Collagen is a major component of the skin, also known as the skin's cushion, which decreases after menopause".  And I am right at this stage in life, so was super keen to try this eye cream, which  is of a lighter texture than the Day and Night creams. A slight aroma and very nice to dab around the eye contour area. Almost a cooling effect .....akin to popping cucumber slices around that area.

Not toxic smelling or feeling at all - definitely doesn't make your eyes water. I have noticed that immediately, my eye area skin is intensely nourished and the eye contour is more hydrated and comfortable. Even just applying at night (and letting it work its magic overnight) L'Oreal Pairs Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Eye Cream, went along way to making me lot less tired.

Verifying the long-term result of the Collagen Amino Acid Fractions that work together with other ingredients to visibly firm and retighten skin, will take a little longer than this trial - but I am definitely enjoying the effects of this eye cream.

Having just turned 50 but with a lifetime of dry, lifeless skin behind me, eye creams are something I'm used to using. I've never used one that I didn't like before, but they all seem to make claims they can't really live up to. Unfortunately this cream seems to be one of those. That said, it's a nice cream that's light, not greasy and easily absorbed and I'm sure is doing good deep down, it just isn't really that effective on my crepey under-eye area, below the brow-bone area or on my ever-present dark circles. I'm not holding that against it, and I've only been using it for just under 2 weeks, so this may improve as time goes by. It's certainly a lovely cream and I'm happy to keep using it and see if I can see any of these miracle effects (tightening etc) that it claims to have. It's a good sized jar for the cost and is easy to use although I found it pilled under my concealer so I'm only using it at night time now, which may affect results. Love the faint scent and the pretty pink colour and the jar will last a long time as you only need a very small amount. Product spreads easily and the customary square pot is very cute and distinctive in my product drawer (easy to spot!).

This is a lovely light eye cream. Comes in a little square container and has no scent. I have been using this eye cream for over a week morning and night. It is a very light cream that goes on easily and blends in well. The area around my eyes is definitely smoother and more hydrated. Skin is very soft and does look tightened. I will continue to use this eye cream as feel my eyes do look more nourished and fine lines not so noticeable.

This amazing wee jar of creaminess is such a lovely product to use. You need a very small amount and apply to your eye area. It’s very nourishing and moisturising and I think I prefer it to other eye creams I have used. It helps that area of skin that really needs it as we age. It’s packaged lovely too in a white jar with gold lid, widely available from Farmers, The Warehouse, etc and it’s affordable.

Like most of L'Oreal Paris' moisture products this is a good all round eye cream. Created for 50 plus it's a tiny bit thicker in consistency than others in the range I've used but not overly, and doesn't feel greasy or heavy. It glides on nicely and has a barely detectable fragrance, so not overpowering in that regard. This product has collagen and claims to firm and retighten skin. After 10 days or so of using this, I am happy with the result; the skin around my eyes looks plumper and the lines less obvious. And another thumbs up to L'oreal Paris; no testing on animals for over 30 years!

I received this product as part of a regime trial - night & eye cream came 2 weeks ago & the day cream has just arrived. I'm post menopausal so the inevitable sagging & wrinkles have become a part of life, and one that often pulls us in to try new products in the quest to recover some of our youthful freshness. The cream has added collagen amino acid fractions to replace the collagen that mature skin does make so readily. The eye cream comes in the classic L'Oreal white glass pottle with gold top. The cream itself is a pale orangy colour and slightly fragranced. It's cooling as it goes on. No reaction from my sensitive skin. Two weeks later & I think I can see a difference - the area seems to be slightly tighter and more hydrated. I've been quite generous in my application - I think this will last 8 weeks in total. I will continue to use & excitedly wait/ hope to see further smoothing out.

I like this eye cream. It isn’t sticky and leaves the skin around my eyes feeling smooth and nourished. With continued use I think i will see further improvement because already the skin does look a little brighter. I only use it at night so that it gets a chance to work without the hindrance of makeup. I love the fragrance and the ease of application. I will update after a few more weeks and report on further visible tightening.

Thank you to Beauty Review for the opportunity to trial this product. Firstly the packaging is clean,and luxurious looking with gold lettering on white. Labelling is well set out with instructions on usage, ingredients used and L’Oreal’s skincare commitments. The eye cream was super easy to apply with absorption immediate and no dragging needed to apply. The area now feels smoother and more hydrated. I will definitely be using this going forward. Wow this eye cream is totally amazing! Ladies I recommend getting this cream if you want to see the skin around your eye improve. I have seen remarkable improvement to my eye area in three weeks. I am in love with this cream. I have saggy excess skin on my eyelids due to my age and one eye is worse than the other, and quite hooded but I can see the skin has tightened using this cream, I have sensitive skin and eyes and have found no negative reaction from this eye cream. I am one has uses eye cream on and off it hasn't been firmly embedded in my skin care routine but that has changed I now have a staple in my new routine and it is this cream. This eye cream has got me excited, beautifully presented cream in white box with gold highlights for the woman in the golden age, but honestly I would use this even if I wasn't in my fifties and my skin was in need of a little tightening. I also love their commitment to not testing on animals.

I love this eye cream. Fragrance free, only need a small amount and definitely appears to work. Instantly my eye area felt smoother/softer a plus for skin which is starting to age at 57. I'm sure the nourishment provided to my skin will show more benefits the longer i use it. I give it a thumbs up.
