L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Eye Cream

This eye cream is different from others I have used. The product is ‘firmer’ than usual so I felt I used less than squeezing out of a tube. It spread easily and my skin absorbed it completely. For the first time, I took before and after shots and I can’t believe the results. Definitely a reduction in the lines under my eyes. Give this a try - I’m sure you’ll love it!

Firstly I would like to thank Beauty Review for the chance to trial this new Eye Cream.

This eye cream contains collagen which helps tighten your skin and helps the fight against sagging. It comes in a 15ml glass jar with a screw top lid. The cream has no scent which is great for around your eye area. I found the cream to be soft and gentle and goes on like velvet, its just beautiful to use. It is not as thick as the night or day cream in the same range. You really only need a small amount so this little pot will last you a good long time, which means great value for your money.

The packaging states that after the first use your skin is intensely nourished and your eye area is more hydrated. I noticed this and was very pleased.

After 1 month eye contours appear lifted, I have yet to really notice this as I have not used it for that long but I am hopeful. I will continue to use this eye cream and look forward to more positive results around my eye area.

I have the usual fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes one would expect from a woman of my age. I have moderately dry skin. And of course...bags..

This eye cream works almost instantly I swear! It's like your bags just disappear! You know that delicious sensation of cucumber slices on your eyes? It's like that, minus the wasted veg!

Retightening is a bit of a scary word I think, I hate the thought of tight skin, it makes me think of that horrible over-cleansed feeling. Thankfully this doesn't feel anything like that! It feels good, a gentle firming sensation after use..

Overall I think this eye cream is really great, my eye area looks brighter and feels less saggy.

I had begun to get a little baggy underneath my eyes and was actually looking into a better eye cream when I received this trial.

The skin around my eyes has become firmer and crows feet have reduced. Bags have all but gone!

I like the texture of the cream and the feel of it once absorbed, there is no residue.

When I chose this product in the Beauty Vault I did not realise that this eye cream is meant for Age 50+. However, once I had it at home, I figured, it cannot hurt to use it anyway, and I’m really glad that I did. The cream comes in a nice little screw top jar, although this is quite a bit smaller than the box this jar comes in makes you think. They have given the box a false floor inside, so that it is about twice as high as the jar, without the jar rattling around in it. In my mind that is a bit deceiving, and creates unnecessary packaging, but it does not detract from the positive effects of the cream. At first I was a bit surprised by the texture of the cream, as it is quite firm, not really a cream at all. You just sort of dab your finger into it, and some sticks to your finger, rather than being able to scoop some cream out with your finger. Now that I have been using it for a few months, there is a hole in the centre of the cream, as the cream does not flow. At the same time, I have become used to the texture of the cream and even started to like it. The cream feels really nice on the skin, and is immediately hydrating. I also feel that the appearance of the skin around my eyes has gradually improved since I have been using this cream, so I am very happy with its performance. I am not sure if the improvement is a lifting as described on the box, but I think I agree that my skin is more radiant and possibly a little bit smoother. I think it is great that the cream is easily available, and not too expensive, I will definitely buy more!

I have been using this for six months and it's great. My fine lines have faded and the skin feels much more supple around my eyes. I am pretty sure the dark circles under my eyes has also faded. Really impressed! It's nice and creamy, but not oily.

I love this kind of packaging where the cream is in a jar so you can use up every last little bit. I use a tiny plastic spatula (which I had from another cream I was using) to get out the cream and you really only need a very small amount. A little goes a long way. This eye cream will last for ages because you need to use so little of it, so it would be very economical. It glides on nicely and it really didn’t seem to have any fragrance. The time to trial the product before a review is due is only two weeks, which is probably not enough time to see any real difference. Perhaps with continued use for at least a month, I might see some change. I can’t say I saw any massive difference in the eye area in just two weeks. However, I would definitely buy this eye cream in future and I’d recommend it to others as well as it did give my eye area a lot more moisture so my little laugh lines weren’t so noticeable.

This eye cream comes in very attractive white and gold packaging. The product itself has no discernible scent and is quite neutral in colour. You only need a very small amount so it will last a long time. The product absorbs into your skin very quickly and does noticeably plump out any fine lines you have around the corners of your eyes and also helps to eliminate the look of bags underneath as well. The cream spreads easily so you don’t feel like your pulling at your skin when applying.

I used it both during the day and at night and definitely noticed the difference after applying. I liked this eye cream and will definitely purchase again.
