I really like this serum, especially when used with the day and night cream. It comes in a plastic bottle and smells very light and summery. I apply it to my skin after cleansing and my face feels soft and smooth. You don't need very much as it does go a long way, soaks in very quickly and you can put your day cream on pretty much straight away. My skin does feel more hydrated and is not as dry any more. I feel like my skin is looking healthier and not as dull. Will be buying again once this one runs out.

Tips: Don't apply too much as you only need a little
A nice serum, has quite a strong scent, but this doesn’t bother me so not a drawback. Applies nicely and is very cooling on the skin It isn’t sticky and absorbs quite quickly so not too much waiting around before applying moisturiser over the top. It does leave your skin feeling very soft.
The bottle is quite large, so not ideal for travelling. Also I’d prefer softer packaging, or maybe an application pump, as I think it will be difficult to get the remaining product out when nearing the bottom. It’s amazing how much product can be wasted due to the packaging. A plus is that you can actually see how much is left.
All up, I’d recommend, a little pricey for me, but then if I find a good product I don’t mind paying for it.
I loved the colour. I just used this at night to give my skin a moisture boost while I slept. I felt my skin looked pumped and rested and fresh in the morning. I didn't really like the sticky feeling when I applied it but was similar in that sense to other serums I have used.
This is now my favourite beauty product and I won't leave home without it. In recent years I have found that unless I use a serum before a moisturiser my skin tends to dry out during the day. I have struggled to find a serum I love but this is it. So easy to apply, so easily absorbed and such incredible value for money - I was only using 4 or so drops each morning to do my face and neck so it goes along way. LOVE IT.
The container for the serum is quite large. It doesn’t have a dropper like many do, so getting the right amount of serum was a little bit of an issue. The serum is unlike any other serum I’ve used before. Normally a serum feels super silky and glides over my skin. Generally you don’t need a lot of serum either, but this serum feels almost dry. I felt I needed to use quite a lot of the serum or it didn’t go very far. I let the serum sit on my skin for a couple of minutes to allow it to soak in before applying the day cream or night cream over the top of the serum.
I feel that my skin looks and feels better since using the serum, combined with the day cream and the night cream.
It’s in quite a large container for a serum. I’m using a lot of serum both at night before the night cream and in the morning before the day cream. Considering how much I’m using, it seems to be lasting quite well, so it’s also good value for money.
I do feel that my pigmentation has lightened up a bit and my friends and husband agreed with that assessment. As I’ve been using the serum, with the day cream and the night cream it’s hard to tell which product is having the most impact.
Tips: I would suggest using this serum on your face, neck and even décolletage as there’s quite a lot in the bottle.
Serums haven’t always been on my priority list when it comes to looking after my skin so I’m kind of a newbie to serums so I was kind of interested to trial the serum. In the past I have read how serums work by giving the skin n extra boost before applying moisturiser. This serum in a tip bottle and is the texture of a thin gel in a rose gold colour almost like fine glitter and it goes on with a wet feel, which I leave for a few moments to dry before applying moisturiser, it tightens on the skin so guess that’s its job. The smell is a very light floral scent which I find quite pleasant. Because my skin has improved when I smell it I feel I’m reminded of how good my skin is looking! I have been using the complete range so I guess they have all been working together to improve the appearance of my skin which I am very pleased with. Would I recommend it? I’d say yes certainly for those of you wanting serious results L’Oréal do an amazing job of skincare products and this one is another gem for mature skin.
Tips: Leaving it dry first on the skin before applying moisturiser as once in a hurry put moisturiser on to soon and felt I was mixing the two around my face and it didn’t feel right.
This is the first time I have used such a product and so I was keen to consider whether it's claims were accurate and whether I liked to use a hydrating serum. Like the Age Perfect Golden Age creams, the packaging was attractive and clearly outlined how to use. Here again I have to say that the wording around 'sagging skin' has me slightly cringing. Leave as 'mature' and I'd feel more inclined to continue reading the descriptor. The container is easy to open and close and the fact that it has a sparkly, pink hue with a gold lid is once again a 'classy' move. The fact that this is thick plastic, so not breakable, and the product can be seen as you use it, is a bonus. The directions on the back of the container suggests I use 2-3 drops of the serum but it was not always possible to balance the tipping of the product with the accuracy of the drops. It might be a good idea to have a type of eye-dropper to make this more accurate. When I did have 4 - 5 drops I still used them on my face. The product is slightly cool, clear, easy to apply and dries quickly. It is not sticky and so I feel a pleasant experience. The tall 25 ml bottle is very easy to hold. It is more expensive than I think I'd spend but in saying that I have been amazed at the little amount that has reduced it total, even after several weeks of use. The biggest impact that I have seen is around the top of my lips. I had little dips above my top lip where lipstick would 'run' and this has greatly improved. My top lip is smoother and less lined. I'm pleased with that.
Tips: Consider using an eye-dropper to extract
I've only used a serum a couple of times before and haven't really liked them as they've left a sticky residue on my skin. But not this one! I only need one good shake of the bottle and it was enough to cover my entire face. I personally would prefer a squeeze bottle as it gives more control but once I worked out how much I needed, it was fine.
It looks a little sparkly in the bottle so I hoped it didn't leave me looking like a glitter ball which it didn't at all!
It is designed for a mature skin but I found it to leave my skin feeling lovely and definitely a fabulous base for my foundation.
The advertising says it will leave my skin looking radiant - I would definitely agree!
A few drops of this goes a long way, and used in conjunction with the Day Cream and Night Cream, this is liquid gold that completes the package. Glides on the skin, is absorbed easily and is the perfect base to follow with a moisturiser. Nicely scented, it was enjoyable to use and my face loved it! Overall a light but richly intense serum that after 3 weeks of using, left my skin feeling hydrated, supple and soft.
Tips: Also nice on the decolletage!
L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Radiance Re-Activating Serum soaked into my skin quickly so I could put on the day cream pretty much straight away.
The drops come out very slowly so you can regulate the dose to put on my face and spreads really well with a little going a long way.
The serum comes in a plastic bottle which is ideal for travelling and has a gorgeous sweet perfume smell.
I am in my late 50's and have now used this product for 3 weeks'.
My skin feels softer and brighter in appearance after using the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Radiance Re-Activating Serum and I will certainly continue to use.
Tips: Use sparingly as a drop of serum goes a long way.
