I firstly use the serum on clean skin then use the day cream, it is a dark pink colour and contains SPF15 which I like so I know my skin is protected during the day from the sun. It gives my complexion colour and a glow. It is in a square container and has a golden lid, there is a generous amount of this cream and it goes a long way. It has a really nice smell and it leaves my skin hydrate for the day ahead of me. I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to look after their skin.

Great smelling day cream that is in a screw top tub that means every last bit of cream will be able to be used up.It comes in upmarket classy looking packaging. I love that it has an SPF in it but I do prefer to use a 30 or 50 SPF as I live in a very sunny (usually) part of NZ where melanoma is prevalent. The cream has a very pink hue to it which does add a shimmer to the skin so I applied to my neck also for continuation of shimmer. At $39 it is a little expensive but I don't mind this as I think good products are worth it and this is a middle of the range product that is very moisturising and a little goes a long way. I did use in conjunction with a SPF 50 sunblock when I was heading out into the sun as I just don't want to take the risk of sunburning my face. Did I mention the great fragrance... I love this product!
Tips: Use sparingly but I would definitely reapply if I was going to go out into the sun if it hasn't been applied within the last 2 hours
L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age SPF15 Day Cream has a ridiculously long name and a bizarre salmon pink colour, but it's actually a really nice moisturizer. The packaging is lovely, a rose gold square glass jar with a gold lid. It's a soft cream consistency with a dark pink colour. I was worried about applying such a pink cream to my face, but it absorbed well and didn't leave a noticable tint. I assume the pink colour is the "rosy glow" in the marketing of this product. To be honest, I have enough "rosiness" in my face naturally so I was relieved that this cream didn't add any extra pinkness. It has a very faint floral fragrance, not unpleasant at all. It has SP15, which is vital in a day cream though I usually top it with a higher SPF. It left my skin soft and not greasy and wore well under makeup.
Tips: Don't be scared of the weird pink colour, it doesn't show on your skin!
This was my least favorite product of the three. I really couldn't get past the colour. It is very pink with a subtle fragrance. I have Rosacea so was reluctant to use a product that added colour to my face. Once applied and absorbed it was easily covered by makeup. Used in conjunction with the other products my skin is softer.
Let's start with the packaging, it's divine! Open the luxe goldy, pink box and inside is a frosted blush pink glass jar (love) and gold lid (love). The product itself is pink, kind of a clay pink. Not at all unpleasant and I am guessing the colour is what gives the skin the promised rosy glow. It's a medium weight cream, you don't need a lot and it massages nicely into the skin. It smells nice! L'Oreal suggests that this product will give the skin a healthy rosy glow and help fight sagging. DId it do this? Yes and No. Yes, it does give your skin a nice healthy, rosy glow. No, it is not fighting my sagging skin, I need surgery or injections for that, but it does leave my skin feeling soft and feeling nourished. I really like this product and I will be repurchasing it when I've emptied this divine jar!
Tips: My skin type is combination and this day cream is perfect, I think it would suit all skin types. I used BB cream over top of the day cream and it really changed up the look of my skin, the coverage seemed better and my skin was extra smooth and glowy!
I am a bit younger than the recommended age for the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age SPF15 Day Cream. I have sensitive dry skin and some redness. I have been using the product for about 1 month at the time of this review (Dec 2018). I am very pleased with the results.
In the summer time, I work in an environment where I go from the cold of my office to the warmth of a warehouse many times during the day. I walk and hike regularly. I need to wear products that will hydrate and nourish my skin, but also keep it young looking without running down when I am sweating. L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age SPF15 Day Cream passed the test and I have been going home after 5pm with a skin still very well hydrated.
It was interesting to see the cream had a rosy colour and I was curious how it would look once applied. That was not a problem at all. The cream's rosy colour mixes very well with the skin. I have been applying a big pea size amount of the day cream every morning on top of the radiance re-activating serum. The cream is medium-thick and creamy. The cream is not greasy at all. I really enjoyed using it. It penetrates my skin nicely and I can exercise without having it running down my face. There is a hint of a peony fragrance that dissipates very quickly. After a month, with a daily application, I still have half in the container. My skin is looking nice and healthy. The pot is easy to open and close.
The cream has a SPF15. It is good, but not quite enough for my sensitive skin under the New Zealand sun.
The packaging is discreet. I find it nice and simple. The packaging has a PAP recycling logo. The pot is made of glass. I would think only the top and inside lids can't be recycled.
I would recommend the product to my friends 50 and over. My skin was instantly intensely hydrated and very comfortable.
Tips: Spread and blend the cream regularly onto your face and skin.
The packaging is to die for. Looks very pemium and quite glam on my dressing table. The cream is a beautiful shade of rose which was a surprise as all creams are normally white unless they are tinted. Doesn't leave any tint on the face. Skin does seem to have brightened. It has a nice texture and blends in nicely on my skin. Its quite light and one has to apply just a little. Love the tact its SPF. Within a week of applying the cream, I noticed a diffrence. My skin is looking healthier, hydrated. and radiant. Dare I say I'm looking youmger, am definitely feeling it. Cheeks seem less sagging. It feels a bit pricey, but looking at the result, I say its worth every penny.
Tips: Apply a little, and it will go a long way.
I was concerned by the colour when I opened the jar as it has a dark pink colour as the jar says. I thought it would make the redness in my skin more noticeable but it definitely doesn't, rather it gives it a lovely healthy glow. The cream is a medium consistency and doesn't leave my oily/combination skin greasy or cause me to break out even in my late 40's and is perfect under makeup. There is a slight fragrance to the product that disappears after application and I am pleased there is no SPF smell or feel. You don't need very much to cover your face and I think this will last quite a while as I haven't made much of a dent in mine tub after over three weeks of use. I would definitely repurchase this product and has replaced my more expensive brand that is twice the price.
Tips: I let it sink in for a couple of minutes before I apply my makeup for work
This has a standard style packaging with a tub & a lid but it looks more ‘up-market’ due to the graduated pinky/gold tones of the container. Oh my goodness – I opened the lid & this bright pink cream assaulted my eyeballs. This, I did not expect & did not particularly like. My Mum also exclaimed ‘Yuk!’ It is very easy to apply though & immediately my skin felt like a baby’s bottom. You apply the day cream after the serum. The day cream includes calcium & peony & iris floral extracts. The calcium is to restore the skins density & support its structure, which sounds logical. I assume the bright pink colour is to help with the rosy glow. The promised results are hydrated skin without feeling tight, feeling denser & firmer & skin tone will be fresh, healthy & more youthful. I also like the fact it contains SPF 15. Stings a little when you apply it (even over the top of the serum) but not too uncomfortable; this is probably the ‘tightening effect’. It also contains ‘glittery bits’ which I guess will be to illuminate the skin & mask any fine lines. The cream does have a bit of a pink glow when you apply & it does make your skin feel more radiant. I left it a wee while before applying my make-up & it had a nice feel to it then.
Tips: I believe this cream is more suited to very mature skin. I would probably wait until I am older to use this product.
What beautiful packaging. definitely stylish and with a sense of class reflective of us ladies with maturing skin. The cream absorbs incredibly well and was so hydrating. Over the course of the trial I do believe my skin felt firmer and which may be a secondary gain of the increased hydration. Now lets talk about the elephant in the room, the pink elephant. I found the pink/orange colour incredibly off putting. It did not blend well into my skin and upon applying I looked liked I'd just had a hot flush or an very hot shower. using less of the product did lessen it and I would say it didn't matter once my foundation went on. This was my least favourite of the three, the colour just wasn't for me.
Tips: Less is more and rub it in well.
