I have never used anything like this before and in one sense it felt like little pamper sessions. It did not take long to follow each morning and night and although I was very skeptical, I can honestly say that it has made a difference to my skin. My husband also commented that my skin looked lovely and healthy, so will definitely continue to use this.

Tips: Follow the instructions, I never missed using this morning and night, all of these products will last a very long time as you need to use them sparingly.
I was very lucky to be chosen for this review and overall feel this is a really good Trio. The containers are lovely together with the reddish brown base and silvery gold tops. The serum pump had a lovely solid pump and dispurses easily. I am very impressed with the look of the set on my vanity as they look quite exclusive. The Serum is easy to use ,absorbs instantly and has a lovely scent. My skin was left with a nice tightened feel but the application felt really silky. The day moisturiser is perhaps a little greasy as having to apply makeup would require waiting until absorbed but great for makeup free days particularly. It would have been nice to have SPF included as this is another step to add in the daily regime. The night cream although a little greasy left my skin feeling the best it has ever felt or looked by morning-no morning creases and a lovely soft skin. Overall this is a lovely set and definately has helped my aging skin to look it's best. A definate softening overall and each of the products used as stated would last a good month so very affordable on today's market. Ther instructions I noted are only on the cartons but this is not really a negative as products do not really need directions and the containers look rather nice with less print on them. I do not hesitate to recommend this trio and I will be definately happy to purchase in the future.
Tips: You may prefer to use a makeup spatular in the moisturisers.
It was really lovely to find a group of skin care products designed for and targeted at the Over 60s and at a reasonably moderate price. At 83 I was not expecting any miracles in the way of vanished wrinkles but am very happy to report that my skin feels very much softer and less dry already and some of the smaller lines do seem a wee bit less obvious. I even think that a small facial age pigmentation spot has faded a little. Before I started using this regime I had been reconciling myself to the fact that I must accept that age and early life neglect (for tight budget/busy life with four children reasons) had left me with dry dull skin - even though I have been a non- smoker and no sun worshiper. I am now perfectly content with both the feel and the look - feeling no need to always cover up with makeup. It would be nice though if there was some degree of sun protection incorporated. The square shapes and the coffee/gold colour scheme of the jars is decorative enough for them to be permanently left in sight on the shelf rather than tucked away in a drawer - hence a constant reminder to use them even on those "too tired" days - a definite plus.
Tips: Since these products are designed for older women it seems a pity that it has been forgotten that many (if not most) of us have less than perfect eyesight - so all the product details printed in tiny fonts on shiny bronze card packaging are virtually unreadable. It would be very helpful for there to be paper inserts - larger black pint on white paper - detailing product ingredients for those with allergy and or ethical issues - as well as instructions for use. I would like also to note that it was several days before, with my glasses on, I noticed the small arrow at the bottom left of the black labels on the backs of the jars - indicating the peel back function revealing the directions for use - this time black on white and marginally clearer but still very tiny print. I am sure I will not be the only user who misses seeing this,
I am grateful to beauty review for sending me this to trial its my new favorite skincare set. I like that the bottles all match because it makes them look luxurious as well as feeling it.
I apply the serum before both the day and night cream, a little goes a long way. it makes application of the creams easier and in the long run will be more beneficial for my skin. all three have the same pleasant smell which I like and all three feel nice and soft on my skin and no irritation.
the serum layers nicely with the creams. sometimes I layer the night cream over the day cream just for an extra boost. its really luxurious and I feel pampered. they don't feel heavy or greasy. they absorb easily and aren't sticky. for my aged skin theyre very good. I like them.
I already loved L'oreal products - having used their other regimes prior. It was great to see them acknowledging skin care changes through the ages and making products that are focused on ageing skin. I'm in the 70+ range so I didn't expect any winding back the clock. I also have sensitive skin so do need good quality products for my skin. When I received this trial I went out and bought their cleanser, just so I was using their regime start to finish.
It's a little too soon to tell on the repairing properties of this regime but I will continue using it as I've enjoyed the products and they're targeted at my age group
The day cream is lovely - and like all their other day creams your skin feels immediately hydrated and soft. My skin stayed hydrated through the day.
The serum is lovely and a real favourite. L'oreal do well with their serums. This one certainly is lovely when you pop it on and it absorbs well leaving your skin soft even before moisturising. I look forward to longer term results
The night cream is great - it's thick and creamy and really hydrating. My skin feels great every morning.
I do have sensitive skin so can't use a lot of products but all of this regime was fantastic with no reactions at all
It's a little too soon to tell on the repairing properties of this regime but I will continue using it as I've enjoyed the products and they're targeted for my skin.
Thank you for choosing me for this trial. Very grateful & pleased to have found my new regime.
I love the L'Oreal Intense Nutrition Regime and it has certainly delivered on its promises! The serum is absolutely divine and I felt instant benefits with my skin just lapping it up. I was surprised at how thick looking the Rich Repairing Cream (Day) was, but it is easily applied and again it delivers good results and wasn't at all greasy. It left my face feeling soft and moist. The night cream again looked a lot thicker than I am used to, but went on easily... and didn't leave a mess on my pillow. Over all the regime is exactly what my mature, dry face needed. I can feel the difference it has made already, with plumper looking skin, the "crinkles" have shrunk and I've had compliments from friends AND my daughter... the toughest judge there is!! I'll definitely be recommending this regime to all and sundry and will be buying more when I run out.
Tips: I put any excess on the backs of my hands (too good to waste) and they too are looking nourished, softer and feel great!!
I’d actually been looking for a new skin care range that didn’t cost the earth. More expensive is better right! And I’d been spending an embarrassing amount on a jar of cream eeeek trying for hydration
Starting with the packaging it’s eye-catching. Brown glass containers square in shape, the serum is lovely, smells like old wine lol Two pumps of this pearlised serum that’s not sticky or tacky, it’ just slips over my skin and is absorbed in pretty quickly , face neck get this worked in twice a day after cleansing and toning. Followed faithfully with the appropriate cream, so with the night cream that’s thick and gold and oh so lovely I gently work it in using circular motions doing my entire face and neck Morning time I’m left with soft skin and more resilience the more I use it the more improvement I see and feel. Day time the same routine cleanse then serum and cream worked in well I can’t really tell the difference between the day and night cream, they both look and feel so similar. I don’t have to reapply as I’m not left dry or tight, I put on some sunblock and normal day wear weather it be a full face or bb. I have noticed such a marked improvement in my skin and especially on my neck This is a beautiful range of skincare for older dry skin, I do love it. This will be my usual go serum day and night from now not only is it reasonably priced it actually works . Definitely worth a try. So without sounding like a commercial your worth it (and it’s not expensive ) and it worked wonders on my parched skin
Tips: You don't need to spend a fortune on beauty products Work this beautiful range of product into face and neck and your skin will speak for its self
I've given my individual reviews against each product and this one refers to the 3 products used together.
It's an amazing range for mature skin, I can honestly say my skin has not felt so good in a long time, hydrated, plumped and just gorgeous.
Yes to be fair slightly more effort to use a night cream which I wouldn't normally do but I think it's worth it. I think i'm pretty hooked now. L'Oreal it's a YES from me.
Tips: If you are a mature woman you'll love this range. Give it a go, i'm pretty sure you can pick it up from the Supermarket.
All three products in this range are beautifully presented in elegant gold & brown glass (much classier than plastic and recyclable). The serum provides the perfect base for the day and night creams. Although I found the day cream a little heavy for using under my make-up, I soon became adept at judging just the right amount to use. The serum/night cream quickly became my favourite combination, and although my trial of these products was not the four weeks that was suggested on the label, my skin definitely looked more firm and toned. I would love to see a spatula added to the day and night cream packaging for ease of use and an eye cream in the same range would top this regime off. I would definitely recommend it to other women in the over 60s age group who experience dry, lined, sagging skin. Easy to purchase, good value for money, beautifully presented and they do what they say.
I’m a huge fan or L’Oréal. When I sold my house to celebrate I brought a L’Oreal skincare set and a hair dryer. So to get to try this set from BR I was soo happy. Thank you BR.
The serum would have to be my favourite of the set but I really enjoyed using them all together.
The whole range looks elegant. The amber bottles look expensive. The boxes also look stylish and clearly state some ingredients and benefits.
The ingredients sound wonderful and seem to do a wonderful job nourishing my skin.
The scent is light and fragrant but not sickly or sweet.
The day and night creamy are creamy and the serum a more fluid consistency.
You can wear it on its own or underneath makeup. Which is another point I love about. I am at the age where I need to take preventative measures morning and night and I always wear makeup so what I use needs to be light and able to be worn under makeup. It also needs to not make my makeup move.
I love that it makes my skin feels moisturised and soft. I haven't noticed changes with lines and wrinkles but when I use the set it makes my skins appearance more plump which helps soften the look of my lines and wrinkles.
It's a nice set for those who have dry skin as it helps give your skin the moisture that it needs without making your skin feel oily.
My only wish was that there was some spf in the day cream or an actual spf item in the range but that’s easily fixed applying my own but would save me a step.
I’m a baby of the 1950s and my skin has loved this set.
Tips: Use your own spf to top up sun protection
