I liked this easy to use non-drip cream product. it covered my greys as it said it would & left my hair looking very natural & glossy. I like the fact that it has no ammonia & has a pleasant smell.

Tips: I think it is important to follow the instructions for application & the development time, I used a timer.
I have brown hair and tried the Dark Chocolate shade and love it. My hair feels nice and soft and the colour is as it is shown on the box. I don't think it has the 'shimmering tones' as stated on the box but I'm happy with the colour.
The product has easy to read instructions, and is easily applied. Nice sturdy gloves and I like the pink touches to the bottles. My favourite thing would be the yummy smelling conditioner, and there is enough for a couple of uses. I have shoulder length hair and there was enough colourant for me but I any longer and I think I would have needed two boxes of colour.
Overall a great semi-permanent colour that I would use again.
I found this product quite amazing. I was concerned to begin with as there was not a chemical smell that I am used to and associate with hair colours. I put the product in and waited. When it came time to washing it out, I was not sure it had even taken (should remember that you can never tell until it is washed). The washing was easy. I didn't have a ton of colour coming out as I have in the past, so washing time seemed to be halved. Shower clean up was a breeze as the product had not gone crazy all over the place. I dried my hair, and what a nice surprise. The colour had taken so well. I didn't have any pieces that were missed, or hair dye over my ears or scalp, which meant I could rock my hair any way I wanted. I am loving having this colour in my hair. The awesome thing is that the sun really sets it off and now that we are in summer, there is a ton of sun to help my hair shine.
Tips: Go for it.
When the chance came up to review the L'Oréal casting creme gloss hair dye, I was super excited to give it a go. Being a busy mum, I never really put myself first or give myself some pampering, so it had been a couple of years since I last dyed my hair. I was well overdue for a change!
The hardest part about reviewing this product was choosing what colour to go with, there is a huge range to choose from! Should I go lighter? Or darker?.... In the end I chose to go darker and went with Iced Chocolate (sounds yummy doesn't it?)
Applying the L'Oréal casting creme gloss hair dye was fairly straight forward, just following the instructions and go. Once applied to the hair, wait for the dye to take and then wash out. Easy peasy!
I loved the results!!!!
Lovely rich dark brown with a reddy tinge, looked amazing. I was impressed!!
I've had my hair coloured for 3 weeks now and as I was my hair everyday the colour has faded. This particular dye only being semi permanent lasts for 28 washes. But I have loved the change and the colour and it's a great way of doing something different and then if you don't like it, it's going to come out within a month anyway!
But for me, I'm going to be looking for a permanent colour. I hope they make it!!!!
Tips: This colour will fade over a short period of time, it you're wanting a longer look then better to go with a permanent hair dye. Other than that, I loved it!!
This L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss hair colour is good product I would recommend to my friends. The package is elegant and eye catching with the bright pink in the middle. It contains 3 bottles of crème and 1 pair of glove. I purchased another one as I have long hair. It's easy to operate by following the instruction. The colour comes out rich and nature. My hair is shine and gloss, especially great under the hot sun. I had washed my hair twice and the colour stays. However, I would like to recommend that it contains a disposable hair cover as I have to stay in the bathroom for 20mins. A cover will make it easier for consumer.
Tips: I used a plastic hair cover to express the colouring process and stop it running over my skin
This was my first time using a hair colorant of any sort and I have to say - it was exciting! Since I have natural black hair it was a bit hard to see under normal light but outside in the sun you could def see the shine of the Honey streaks come through! I was impressed that the colour didn't wash out after a few washes because I think that's what every girl with dyed hair is afraid of. I'm looking forward to try a different colour in the future :)
Tips: Nope, but application can get messy without tight fitting gloves!
Since I found L'Oreal Casting Crème Gloss I have not used any other hair colouring product. I love it. I use either Dark Blonde, Amber or Light Brown. The colours are very natural, give a true glossiness to my hair and are very easy to get a nice even coverage even doing it myself. There is no real line that appears as the hair grows or the when I am due to re-do it. Another bonus is that they have recently increased the quantity of the product, which means that even someone with slightly longer hair would have no trouble completing the job with one bottle. My only disappointment is when I couldn't find the Caramel Brown colour, no one has been able to tell me if it is just out of stock or if it has been discontinued. If it has it is a real shame.
Tips: Using the nozzle to part your hair while applying the crème makes it really easy to get right to the roots with plenty left over to do the ends.
This is the only semi that I can consistently find, mostly just racks and racks of permanents. I use the light medium brown for grey regrowth coverage. It covers the greys about 90% which I like as it means the dyed section isn't just a bland flat colour. Semi is also good as it it is kinder to your hair than permanent dye and also there isn't such a harsh regrowth line so I find I can go longer between touch ups.
Tips: For extra saving I make my box last two touchups, as I don't need the whole box for doing my roots. First time I pour half of the tube and half of the bottle into a plastic container and mix them up and use on my roots. I replace the lids and eight weeks later I squeeze the remaining tube to the bottle and shake for the second touchup, 2 for 1, works a treat.
Not too sure of the name of the colour, but I dye my hair a nice purple-red colour on top of my fairly dark hair, and it still shows up nicely. Saves me and my mom about $40-65 in salon dye, and leaves my hair smelling pretty good, and feeling soft.
Tips: Wear a shirt you don't care about. Bonus points if it's white and you dye hair various bright colours and end up with a cool stained shirt
The casting Creme Gloss has great packaging by giving you a great indication of what colour you are getting. The instructions were easy to follow and the application of product was good as it did not drip everywhere. I left the product on for correct time and rinsed out and it was nice not to have ammonia fumes! After drying my hair the colour was rich and my hair was so soft! I have now washed my hair about 3 times and the colour still looks fab. The product has not dried out my hair like some others I have tried and my hair still feels silky soft.
