Tips: If you have long, thick hair you definitely need two boxes and choose shade carefully.
I loved this hair dye as a semi-permanent option (unfortunately it is one of the only semi-permanent options in my supermarket though) I found that the colour lasted a decent amount of time and didn't damage my hair too badly. I initially used this dye to try and restore some of the shine back into my hair at my hairdressers suggestion. I used a dark brown colour and I found it coloured over previous dyes well and also turned out true to the colour advertised.
I did however notice my shampoo stripped quite a bit of colour out of my hair and I often had brown water coming from my hair due to the dye running out. But that could be due to my hair type
I haven't dyed my hair in a while as I am trying to return to my natural colour. But this was always my go to hair dye, it doesn't make my hair feel horrible, I love the conditioners they put in. It does exactly what It says, I tried a few colours cant remember exactly which ones, I believe one was redish which didn't work on my hair after I had previously dyed it darker brown it had a hint of red but not as red as id of liked but that wasn't an issue for me. I think the product itself is very good,
i changed my hair from light brown to a natural black and i just recently used it and it has lasted for 8 weeks so far and it still looks like i have just done it.... its pretty good stuff!
I used the Iced Truffle colour to cover some pesky greys as well as wanting to cover up the red tones in my hair from a previous colour. It worked fantastically on both! I was particularly impressed with the fact that it's not so strong smelling and yet still does a great job without so many of the extra chemicals that other colours have.
Tips: The conditioning treatment that came in the box did make my hair a bit stringy so I followed up with a light application of my own conditioner to liven my hair up a bit.
This is a great home haircolour to use - obviously nothing will match getting your hair done professionally but this comes a very close 2nd. The colours from Casting are gorgeous, really vibrant and natural, and leave your hair feeling lovely and healthy.
Found this easy to use smooth consistency and very nice colours , love that fact that there is no ammonia and covers greys very well. leaves my hair feeling soft, shiny and smells beautiful after using the conditioner. Lasts up to 28 shampoos, except on some shades so you may want to check that. My favourite shades are pearl blonde and iced mochaccino used both these colours on a regular basis love this product and will continue to use and recommend
Tips: Skin allergy test must be done 48 hours before use which is important for a sensitive scalp
This was so easy to mix and apply, the non drip creme did exactly that, which ment I could target those greys a lot easier. It did leave it on a bit longer then recommended, and to my surprise I actually managed to get all my hair done with the one application as my hair is so long, a bonus for me as it is a bit expensive. It washed out quite well and it did lather better then some other products. It did not have that chemical after smell afterwards and I loved the conditioner so much. Once my was dry, it was so shiny and I had no visible greys, Bonus!! Overall I was happy with the product but the price was still a bit expensive. I have washed my hair twice more since and the color still holds well. I do like how my ends seem to be in better condition. I look forward to seeing how long the depth of the color lasts.
I found this product really easy to use and as it was crème, which means less chance of a mess (which is always good) I have very thick hair and was worried that I wouldn’t have enough product but I ended up with more than enough.
The colour was very rich and shiny and slightly darker than I expected, but as this is semi permanent, I know it will mellow with more washes. On a side note, the hair conditioner that comes in the pack smells lovely!
It’s only been a few washes now, but I am slightly sceptical that it will last the full 28 washes.
All in all, I found this to be a great formula so far.
Tips: I always make sure when I dye my hair, to put a thick amount of moisturiser around my hairline, to pretend any drips or stains on my skin
this was a good product it hid the greys well i did leave it in a bit longer than it said as i have some stubborn greys
