I use this every 6 weeks or so it's so easy to use and gives a good colour match to the box for the applicable natural shade. I have no greys yet (luckily) but as I am trying to maintain my natural level but get rid of the mousey colour this is perfect. No need to to have a horrible regrowth this eventually washes mostly out ready for the next refresh. Leaves my hair so much healthier than using a permanent colour and gives amazing shine

Tips: This is not a colour that lightens
After reading lots and lots of reviews I settled on L'Oreal's Casting Creme Gloss for my hair colour.
The colour isn't as stinky as many when applying (possibly because it has no ammonia) and has held well.
I didn't really see a gloss but some of those around me thought it looked a little glossier when first applied.
The accompanying shampoo is in a small bottle which is a much better design than those silly sachets many brands go for.
I would use it again
Tips: If you're not sure about your shade heed the suggestion to go for the lighter of the two shades you deciding between.
without ammonia, which makes it a gentle option for those concerned about hair damage. My hair is really sensitive so this is good for me and also It leaves your hair shiny and looking pretty after you style it and with colouring your hair, this product also works as a conditioner. The colour is not too orangey and has a nice undertone as I'm darker skin and I also use purple shampoo sometimes.
I use this product through out the year - as long as you do as instructed - roots then last 5 on rest your hair will always look great - I go for the brown tones
Tips: Do as instructed - dont put browns through all your hair when renewing or your tips will go darker
I have been using this product off and on for a number of years, it's the only one I use if I want to go darker (I'll always go get highlights or balayage done professionally!). There are many reasons I keep going back to it. Firstly, I find it extremely hard to find a semi-permanent at home hair colour, but Casting Creme Gloss can be purchased at most supermarkets, pharmacies, The Warehouse and Farmers, although you might have to go to the later two to get the colour you're after. The colour is really easy to use, even for a hair novice, and I've managed to always be able to colour my hair with it myself without roping in a friend. I generally leave the product in for the recommended amount of time and it works well. I find the first couple of days it normally comes out looking a bit darker but then after a couple of washes it fades just enough to look really nice. When I had longer hair, I always used two boxes but with my current length (medium, just past shoulders) I was able to get away with one. The only downside I found to the product is I find it doesn't fade completely out, five months after I had last used it you could see regrowth coming in, which can effect results when lightening your hair. Overall, I would definately recommend Casting Creme Gloss. It gives a really good result at a great price, less than half what you would pay for the same result at a salon for a Global Hair Colour.
Tips: Definately use the conditioner that comes with it. It has a nice smell and makes your hair really glossy, and there's enough in the bottle for a few uses.
Nourishing to the hair - long lasting colour with out the damage. Used a dark blonde and got a great light brown colour permanently. Really nice n easy to usse
The colours are great, I love the mahogany. The conditioner smells so nice and it leave my hair feeling amazing afterward. The colour lasts a long time and the regrowth is barely noticeable. Definitely my favourite brand.
I am really happy to say i always use this brand because its great does everything the box said it would and its cheap enough to buy from the warehouse
Tips: I recommend if doing your full head blonde from a dark color to wrap ether glad wrap or tinfoil around your head making sure all the color is covered. This keeps the heat in and helps with the bring the best blonde out possible
I used to use this product all the time. Great smelling and not irritating on my skin. Would definitely use again if it was going to dye my hair dark!
I bought it and applied to my hair during holidays because my mum finally approved it. My hair is black in colour but I wanted it to be in brown. After I used it, my hair turns out to be a very silky brown, and my hair still feels good, not feeling thick and rough. After the holiday has ended, I had to dye my hair back to black, and a few days later I started to notice that the black dye is removed bit by bit. It turns out my hair became brown again because the black dye is washed away day by day.
