I am a hairdressing tutor and this is probably the only shop colour I would recommend. The shine is awesome but the colour does fade quite quickly. Hair feels good afterwards as it is a low ammonia product.

Tips: You will get a re growth so apply to roots only the second time just add to rest 10 mins before wash off to refresh. This will be better for the hairs condition
I did like this product. There arent many semi-permanent colours on the market and these do make your hair look sper glossy afterwards. They are not too 'chemical' smelling and are mild on the scalp. I did find that the colour I ended up with was quite different to the one on the box though.....
This is one of the better semi's out there. I won't use it again as I now have too many grey hairs and it is not effective in covering them at all, which is a shame. I used to use it all the time as it left my hair soft and glossy which I loved. I did find the colour didn't really last 28 shampoo's but as I kept wanting to try different colours it didn't matter to me at all. It comes with one of the best conditioning treatments ever, they should sell that on its own as far as I'm concerned. It's also good as it doesn't have that nasty hair dye smell, completely bearable and I never had any type of reaction to it, another plus.
I would def recommend this hair dye if you're not looking for a permanent colour. They have a very good colour range too.
I actually thought this was one of the best hairdyes I've ever used. Product smelt amazing and not chemically like a lot of other dyes. It covered all my hair really well and I sometimes require 2 boxes, not with this one I got the whole lot in one go. Only problem I had was the gloves they were quite small compared to other brands, I even ripped one and had to apply one handed :/. Worked out well tho. Afterwards colour seems to be holding nicely hair was a little bit dry but the extra conditioner really helps. Overall great product.
Tips: Bigger gloves would be great
Was super excited when I came home to this product was so in need of new colour and decided that night to apply.
I was first surprised with the shape of the bottle. Instructions were easy to follow and the using the box as a stand was rather helpful as it stopped the solution going over my counter well I had hoped it would.
The solution itself is rather runny in fact that's the one negative I have of this product. If I held the applicator in slightly the wrong angle it ran every where down my face and in my sink which was a concern for me as we are renting and have to be super careful luckily was easy to clean off. There was plenty of product this the packet for me but I do have short hair so had to get rid of the rest. My hubby wasn't keen on trying it with me.
After leaving the colour on for the required it I was excited to rinse off and see the results. I was very impressed there was no patching, it covered my grey hair and I LOVED the colour. Infact its my favorite one I have tried in a long long time. I washed my hair and its still looking good which I was worried about as its only a semi-permanent colour. Would love it to become a colour in there permanent range.
Tips: the formula is a bit on the runny side so be careful and does stain towels so use a really old one.
The packaging was sleek, appealing and easy to read. Inside the box the items were cuter than your standard cheap brand but the biggest plus was the conditioner being in a container with a screw on lid instead of those awkward to open foil packets. I have small hands and I found the gloves were a very small and snug fitting. Once the mixture was combined I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of smell given, I normally get a headache despite applying in a well ventilated area but this time I had no issue at all. They market this hair dye as a non drip formula though I found that it was more runny than previous brands and did drip down on one occasion. The mixture was easy to apply though and gave good coverage while covering any greys showing in my regrowth. After rinsing my hair it was super soft and glossy, I do credit the Royal Jelly for this lovely effect. All in all I would use this brand again.
Tips: I would recommend having another pair of disposable gloves in case the ones provided do not fit.
I would use this product again. I love how shiny, soft and healthy looking my hair is at the moment. My hair looks is looking shiny, and healthy. This product is easy to remove from your skin if you manage to drop a little on the back of your neck, ears or even forehead. However, I have quite long hair and 2 bottles only just gave me full coverage. :)
Whilst I thought the application process was very simple and the instructions easy to follow, I didn't feel the color lasted the 28 shampoos as promised, I almost felt by the 10-12th shampoo it was losing the shiny bright color that a dye job brings.
The color after completing it was lovely and fresh, looked really good with coverage all over (which surprised me as I often buy 2 boxes because I scared I will finish the first and still have hair left over). The conditioner in the box is lovely and makes your hair feel truly amazing!
I don't think I would recommend this product simply because I'm not really a semi permanent girl (it's permanent or nothing for me!) but it does what it says it will and I didn't have any hassles with the application.
I would consider and recommend buying the permanent version of this.
Tips: Make sure you put some vaseline along your hair line before using. No one wants a stained forehead!
Used this the other day. My hair is naturally black but I had blonde highlights in it. The dye coloured the highlights beautifully but my natural hair was still black with a bit of a red sheen.
My hair felt healthy after dying it and since my hair is normally very dry and damaged, it was a good product to use in my hair.
Tips: Not for black hair unless you want a tint
Absolutely amazing colour, true to what the box said it would be and easy to apply. My only problem is it did not fade! Months and months later I still have very very dark hair! I used a temporary so I didn't have to commit to one colour for a long time. Bit frustrating though it is probably my hair's fault. - Lucky I love the colour!
Tips: If you are/have been blonde or light red and are going dark beware! This may be less temporary than you thought!
