I had never felt a need to use a lash serum because my lashes are long and I've always been happy with them. I was really curious to see the results of one so excitedly accepted this trial team opportunity. It was a big commitment. I needed to apply this lash serum twice a day for 60 days. To be honest it very easily became a part of my skincare routine. I left it in a prominent place on the vanity in the bathroom and I only forgot to apply it a few times over the whole time. The packaging is quite simple, not overly fancy or complicated but its perfect for the job. There is the brush at on end and a twist dispenser on the other end. I quickly figured out that two turns per application was the right amount. Sometimes in low light it was hard to tell the ends apart since they are both silver. The brush is what you would expect and the serum itself looks like a clear gel. It goes on easily, just brush it on and you're ready to go. I used this twice a day for the whole 60 days and there is still product in there. I am interested to see how much longer it lasts for. The price is really reasonable compared to other lash serums and makes it really affordable when it easily lasts the two months you need to start seeing results. Now for the outcome! I have to admit I wasn't expecting much. I was already pretty happy with my lashes, they were a decent length and I've never worried about it before. I took before and after photos and there is a very noticeable difference in length and the amount of lashes I have. While they were long enough to point up at the ends before you can see on the comparison now that they curl around at the ends. I have so many more lashes now that when I've put mascara on them it looks like I have falsies or extra lashes on. It has become easier to put mascara on and get better results over the trial period and that's something I would never expected. I am really pleased with how well and noticeably this lash serum has worked and since it is so reasonable I will be purchasing it when the trial one runs out. It's become a natural part of my daily beauty routine.

Tips: Whatever you do try not to get the product in your eye. I managed to a couple of times and it stings!
I had been reading lots of reviews and articles about lash serums on BR so when a trial popped up I put my hand up right away, when I got an invite I was super excited! It comes in the form of a pen, one end has soft white bristles and the other end you simply turn until it clicks to release some serum. The directions are on the box it comes in. Simply apply to lash lines both morning and night.
I started using this the night it arrived. I have used without fail everyday, twice a day for 60 days, applying to both upper and lower lashes. It is a clear serum, you definitely don't need much. I used a bit much a couple of times and it ended up drying white in my eyelashes which looked like glue. It is easy to get off though. I was quite worried at first if it was going to get in my eyes and cause stinging or irritation but thankfully it didn't, in fact it is very gentle. My eyes never went red or felt uncomfortable.
My lashes are dark brown and neither short nor long. I certainly hoped I could get a bit of extra length. The results for me were good, I noticed my lashes appear a lot fuller and stronger. I have had less lash fallout and I can definitely notice growth on my outer corner lashes the most. When I wear mascara is when I can see a big difference, they look longer and lush. I started seeing results around the 6-7 week mark.
This is the first lash serum I have used so I have nothing to compare it too but I am still happy with my results so far and will continue to use until it runs out. As it is not see through I have no idea how much product is left which is a bit annoying. I have really enjoyed this trial and I would purchase this lash serum for future use.
I had the opportunity to trial this amazing product through beauty review. First time using a lash serum I was a little sceptical but found it showed amazing results at the end of 90 days. My lashes are quiet short and straight and really didn't bring out the best in making my eyes stand out. I noticed after using this amazing product after the trial time, my lashes have become much fuller, longer and have a beautiful flick on the tips. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has the same problem as me.
After trialling the product for just over 30 days, I’m left feeling unconvinced with my average looking lashes. In fairness, lash serums I’ve used in the past, took effect after 2 months, so it’s quite possible that it could be the same case for this product.
Although this was a 60 day trial, the serum only lasted just over a month. The product comes in a pen-like applicator where you twist the pen to dispense the serum. Here is where the problem lies for me. I love that it’s really easy to apply with the soft synthetic brush pen but I felt that I didn’t have any control on the amount of product dispensed. If you twist one too many times you end up with an excess amount - and there’s only so many lash roots to coat.
I applied the product to the top and bottom lash roots before mascara in the morning and at night after cleaning my face. I have sensitive eyes and I didn’t experience any stinging sensation, instead I felt a nice cooling effect. During the time of my trial, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn’t see much of my lashes coming away when removing my eye makeup. I understand there’s a lash cycle however I didn’t see as many lashes on the cotton pads as I would normally expect.
Despite this tiny highlight, I wouldn’t go out and buy this product again mainly due to the applicator. You don’t have any indication of how much product is left, at least with lash serums that use a brush applicator you can gage when to hit the stores to pick up your back up. In addition to that I didn’t notice any difference in how my lashes looked.
Tips: Twist the pen 2 times then wait to see if product is dispensed, once you know for sure no product has come out then twist the pen once and verify again (you'll save yourself from wasting product) - repeat.
An exciting trial but a bit nervous in case my dumpy eyelashes came back As I’ve used my current serum for years.
So with out fail morning and night I applied this along the root line along my top lashes. And doing that twice a day was no problem as I use eye cream morning and nite so was easy to chuck this in my routine. The applicator was a bit weird to start off with as it’s a hard tube with a end that you twist that pushes the serum down into the wee soft brush that’s at the other end. It’s easy to use it clicks as you twist the end, so two clicks and the brush is wet with serum. First use I had to do several clicks to start the flow. The print is small so I did struggle to read it. I didn’t like it to start of with but within a week I was like wow this is ok.
My eyelashes haven’t missed a beat they are full and long, so looking at my pictures you’ll think meh. Well for me these are the bomb they are butt naked and they are naturally a little bit fair at the ends. But compared to what I used to have they were these little stubby things that sometimes not even the tiniest mascara wand would pick up. I tell you two coats of mascara and I’m so happy, I even did a trip and got my lashes permed and dyed and I felt great there was no way I would have been able to use mascara, they looked fab. They haven’t gotten any longer but they do seem a little fuller a little better in overall condition. I had no stinging or eye irritation with using this, no redness around my eyes and I did get it directly into my eye ( I’m so clumsy) and a little squint and all was good. The serum it’s self is clear and I can’t detect a fragrance.
I suppose the important question is would I change serums from my all time to this Mine 2 mills verses this one at 6 mills. Ingredients are quite different Ease off applicator Both deliver. I will buy this one next time and see what they look like in another 3 months I’d even be tempted to use my old faithful every second night and use this during the day as I’m greedy. And I need my eyelashes I’m happy with the results. They do seem a little fuller as well. I’d say it’s so worth trying.
Tips: let it settle on your lashes a few minutes ( I waited 5) before applying mascara
I love thick long lashes and I do like to experiment with products to improve my lashes.Products to make my lashes thicker, longer and luscious! - yes please.
I’ve tried many treatments and products in the past to increase length/ thickness of my lashes (lash extensions etc, lots of different mascaras!) Some great and some not so great. When I got chosen for this trial I was excited to see what difference this product could do to lengthen and thicken my eye lashes.
The product comes in a stylish tube, white teamed with silver lids and silver writing. Simple, effective and looks high end. You twist one end to get the clear serum out. At first it didn’t work to get the serum out but after a couple of goes it worked well.
The serum you apply both morning and night. It’s clear, non smelling and easy to apply. I applied it like a mascara and the brush was nice and good for the eye area. I have sensitive skin and a tendency for stinging around my eyes with some products, but no problem at all. It was pleasant and just an extra step in my routine.
After continuous applications of this serum my eyelashes did seem very soft and conditioned. They seemed healthy and strong.
However in terms of lengthening I didn’t notice much difference- it doesn’t wow me. However, I do have quite long lashes. What I did find though was that it made them slightly thicker and definitely healthier.
Overall, it’s a nice product I will continue to use. Adding an extra step in my routine to care for my lashes does seem worth it. It has its positive points and I do feel like my eye lashes are healthier after using this.
I like to play with my eyelashes. Not just curling, tinting or lifting - but touching and sometimes pulling them out. I don’t know why, but I do know that it means my lashes are usually short and sparse. So when I had the opportunity to review this new lash serum, I thought AH HA now I can grow my lashes back to a luscious length! I’ve been using the serum for the last couple of months, day and night, and certainly noticed a difference in the thickness and length of my lashes. Yes, I’ve also been trying not to touch them, so that has helped with growth - but people like me need all the serums they can get. It just means it will grow faster! Using the serum twice a day has been pretty easy to integrate into my life of working full-time, being a parent to a one-year-old and being a wife. I used it in the morning before putting on makeup and at night before bed. I wear contact lenses and a couple of times during the trial I found that my eyes were a bit more irritated than usual (unsure of the reason) but just to be safe I started using the serum before putting in my lenses. I love that this product works - but I was fully sold on the design of the brush. In fact it took me longer than it should have to work out how to get the serum out (I’ll put that down to baby brain...) but once I did, it was easy, I’d twist the pen twice, wait a few seconds for the serum to flow down into the brush, and then apply on the lash line. I found that the serum, being a runny consistency, would often touch my lower lash line even if I only applied it on top, so I didn’t apply it separately to the bottom. After all, with such sparse upper lashes, I didn’t want my lower lashes to be any longer and thicker than they were! I’ve used a couple of lash serums before and was pleased with the result, but they were expensive ($100+) so that’s the least I expected. At the time of reviewing I didn’t know how much this product cost, but after a quick google I found it for $32.99 at Farmers - which is incredible! Would I recommend this to a friend? Of course! It’s a fantastic price for a product that, in my view, has given me equal results from more expensive serums. Why not?!
Not gonna lie - L'Oreal are not a brand that springs to mind when it comes to lash serums.
I've used lash serums/conditioners in the past, to varying results. The brand I saw the most length with, was insanely expensive. The 'natural' one, yeah, nah. And the thing is - I don't need long lashes, I need more lashes. I have gaps the size of a cotton bud head, in my lash line.
So. L'Oreal's toe-dip into lash serums. What did I think.
The packaging has an insane amount of information on it. It does not look anywhere near as classy as the sleek, branding I'm used to on a lash serum. It cheapens it. The name is 'Clinically Proven Lash Serum' and you know what? I don't mind it. Tells you what it is, and I can pronounce it. No 'is it Lie-, is it Lil?' here.
The tube itself is kind of like a marker pen, with some ominous 'ml' markings, like a medical syringe. You turn the top to dispense serum. The brush is ridiculous. Why not just give us a paintbrush?! Its so wide, I mean, you're not going to miss your lash line with it, that's a positive, the negative is I kept wiping my eyeball.
I had no reactions to the eyeball wiping, btw. And my eyes are quite sensitive so for an eye product, that's a huge win.
Ok, so we've established I like the name, hate the packaging and hate the dispenser. But what were the results?
Fast forward to maybe week 5 of twice a day application. My lashes are thick. Like really, thick. My lashline looks darker due to the increased number of lashes. Length I haven't really noticed a change, they're not suddenly touching my glasses lens or anything. And I like that. I love that I don't need to wear mascara to feel like my eyes look ready for the day.
I am so impressed with the results, I feel bad I prejudged L'Oreal getting into the lash serum game, but I'll make it up to them by buying another tube!
My lashes like to bestow wishes upon me. I'll find them on my cheeks, my pillow, my index finger after an eye-rub. I actually avoid wearing mascara, even though I love it, because when I remove it a Lash Fallout commences.
I was so happy to be chosen for this trial - I went into it with excitement and hope and not only was I not disappointed. I was genuinely wowed.
I didn't find the box or tube particularly appealing, but also inoffensive. It was just all a bit cluttered.
I liked the thick brush - obviously I apply the serum sans spectacles, so the wide brush saved a lot of leaning into the mirror. The serum is quite tacky I felt, I could definitely feel it on my lash line immediately after application, but it absorbed in quickly.
I noticed results around week 3 in terms of less lash fallout. By week 5 I had a full lash line. It has changed the confidence I had for my eyes. I used to avoid mascara, and as a result, avoid eye shadow, because I didn't want to draw attention to my lashes. Now, I can comfortably wear mascara, and I'm not left with a bunch of lashes on the cotton pad when I remove it.
I could only find information on the RRP of this in other countries, so I'm really keen to find out when I can restock, and how much it will cost. But trust me when I say this - they could charge me the last canteen of water in the Apocalypse and I would give it to them. It's that good.
I was so stoked to be chosen for this trial . My lashes are quite sparse not really thick or full . Over the course of two to three months I used this lash serum morning and night . I wear make up to work most days .
Packaging I thought wasn’t really eye catching to look at . Very Basic . This is shaped like a pen . This is like a liquid gel that’s clear . There’s no scent at all .
Application wise it seems to blob out on to my lashes . I wish this was a spoolie . I think it would have spread through each lash better . Anyway I wore this under my mascara each day .
My results were that my top lashes did become slightly fuller in appearance . My bottom lashes no real change for me . Still looking sparse . I’ve never tried lash serums before . I’ve always been skeptical about them .
Overall I can’t really see myself using this again. I don’t have the patience to wait for results. I think I would rather go back to false eyelashes instead .
