After application, My hair looks wonderful once I blow dry it and style it. it's noticeably less frizzy, moisturised, and shining!, in my experience. I also use it to smooth down any stragglers in my hair after it's dry. It has no effect on the weight of my hair, and it never made my hair greasy or knotty. It made my hair a bit hard the first time but I realised I had used way too much, a little goes a long way with this. It smells SO nice and I get compliments about that. It doesn’t really live up to the no haircuts needed phrase but I’d still repurchase as it does make my hair softer, tamer and shinier.
Tips: Don’t use too much!!
I love it. It smells amazing and doesn't make my hair greasy, plus the heat protection is an added bonus. I do use it with the shampoo and conditioner and it does really reduce my split ends and help with frizz from humidity.
This product makes a very noticeable improvement to split ends after just one use, it also makes my hair super shiny and smooth, as well as smelling great. I use it multiple times a week when I curl my hair and my bf uses it daily on his curls too! A regular purchase in our home.
Tips: Rub well on your hands prior to application and don't use too much.
((My hair is long, curly, fine but I have lots of it! Using a lot of mainstream products caused my hair to become oil-prone)) I haven't had a proper haircut/trim in years. This product did a fairly good job of taming the curls & frizz when applied to set hair, it did require a little more once dry & It didn't last all day when humid. But for a supermarket product it worked wonders
Tips: Follow application directions but flip your hair upside down (if you have lots of hair) part halfway across your head (through crown) tie bottom half 1st & apply to top half combing through with fine toothcomb-then tie and repeat to bottom half
I love this cream! I’ve purchased about 4 bottles since I discovered it. It’s great for split ends, can also be used as a heat protectant, and a frizz tamer! I use this after my hair wash routine to prevent my hair from going super dry, I also use it before I straighten my hair to give it that extra bit of protection.
Really nice for sealing split ends, damaged and dry hair. Only need a small amount! Would definitely tide you over until your next hair cut!
Tips: Put on after styling hair to tame frizz or before to help with heat protection
My Hair Type: Curly, dry
My Review: I have been using this product for about two years now and I keep grabbing another bottle once its finished. I love a small amount goes a long way.
How I use it: I love using this on no hair wash days or styling days. You know when your hair looks sickly straight at the ends when you straighten them? or are giving medusa on a lazy day? Well this is perfect for then. Helps moisturise your hair tips/ends and keep them tamed, to have a fresh look. I also love using this with my natural curly hair :)
Tips: Pro tip: It is not meant for your scalp.
Loreal Elvive Dream Length leave in conditioner is marketed for long, damaged hair. The words on the bottle say no haircut cream so I was keen to trial as my hair is very long, damaged and also dry so this range should be ideal for me. It contains Caster oil which is considered an important ingredient to help grow hairs by stimulating the hair growth.
The leave in condition is more like a serum in consistency but has a silky feel. It has the same beautiful lingering fruity cocktail scent of cherry, vanilla and coconut (my opinion). The packaging is the same peachy colour as the shampoo and condition in the range. It's a flexible tube with a push up nozzle. It's easy to use and appears leak proof. It's a decent size, 200mls so it should last a long time as only the smallest amount is needed to cover the ends. I apply the leave in conditioner from around midway down my hair and concentrate on my hair ends, which are normally the driest and most damage part.
I found this super hydrating and makes brushing my hair easy peasy. Any knots previously left after conditioning are gone. It's not to heavy or greasy in my hair but I only use the tiniest amount and don't apply to my roots.
As I normally blow dry my hair and occassionaly straightener it, it's nice to know that this leave in condition helps prevent against heat damage.
Unfortunately I have only been able to trial Dream Lengths twice so far. It is therefore hard to know whether it will help strengthen my hair and prevent breakage like it claims as the instrumental test performed by Loreal says after 10 uses. I really like how hydrating and soft my hair feels so I will continue to use.
For me personally I didn’t really like using this product it made my hair feel a bit hard when it dried and made my hair knotty. It does smell really good though. And I believe it could just be my hair type.
