L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Dream Lengths Regime

I was lucky enough to be sent the set as part of a trial team.

I have long hair that has been lightened so the ends are really quite damaged. I am determined to grow my hair out, so hate cutting it, but hate the shaggy dry look too! I was super excited to see that this promises to seal the ends and improve the look of those long lengths and split ends.

The trio has really nice packaging, I just love the apricot/pink look. My favourite thing about the packaging has to be how the shampoo and conditioner can sit on the lid. Absolutely no wastage with getting the last of the product out.

It contains castor oil which makes sense (although reminded me of my first labour - not a good idea ladies!!!). It also has vegetal keratin which is the first time I've heard of this, but from what I've researched is an alternative for animal keratin - winning!

The shampoo works beautifully and cleanses the hair thoroughly without stripping. The conditioner is a beautiful thick formula which just melts into the hair ensuring there are no tangles. The leave in treatment wasn't for me - unfortunately it caused an irritation so I'll be interested to see what others have thought.

The results - my hair feels really soft and nourished without any greasiness at all. It's not often a product will nourish the lengths and not cause any scalp oiliness but this seems to nail it!

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial the new Dream Lengths hair regime from L’Oreal. The regime consists of the Dream Lengths Shampoo and Conditioner, and the No Haircut Cream. My hair is dry and fine. It is drier than it should be because I have damaged it by lightening it. This past year I have been growing my hair, so it is now down past my shoulders. I was excited to be sent this for trial.

The three hair products come in cheerful peach-coloured bottles with bright pink tops. The shampoo and conditioner are both 325ml, and the No Haircut Cream is 200ml. They all have a delicious peachy scent. All three are designed to treat “long, damaged hair.” The formulas of the shampoo and conditioner are enriched with “vegetal keratin, vitamins, and castor oil.”

All three products are creamy, moisturising, rich, but not too heavy. This is especially important for the No Haircut Cream, which acts as a leave-in conditioner. It did not weigh down my fine hair, and left it soft and conditioned. It also acts as a protectant for your hair against heat appliances. It can be applied to wet or to dry hair.

Altogether I loved the scent of these products, and I found them very easy to use. The bottle sizes of the shampoo and conditioner are both generous, and I am a sucker for a leave-in conditioner. Although I didn’t find anything particularly remarkable or different about this regime, I enjoyed using the products, and I will continue to use them after the trial is over.

Okay so I was skeptical about this one, but was truly surprised at how good it is. After using all three of these products, my hair felt really bouncy and full, but also wasn't frizzy or hard. I got results that I would have expected with some high end products so colour me impressed! Looking forward to using more and seeing how it works on keeping my ends nice and supple so that I can grow my hair longer!

I got very obsessed with this line from their shampoo to conditioner and to this leave on, I like how refreshing the smell and they're long-lasting, I will tie my hair but since it is long when I get to my work I will put it up while about 30-40% still damp, but how many times I got complimented by my patients how I always smell nice even my hair. Sometimes, after even 16 hours straight shift, once I get to my car and start driving home, I will untie my hair and if I will get a quick sniff off it, I feel fresh and just very comforting!

Have been using these hair products for quite sometime now and am loving how healthy my hair has been! I have extremely damaged and dry hair and am now using these products as part of my regular hair washing routine. The dream lengths no haircut cream is absolutely a must!! This has helped with my split ends as well as keeping my hair from being frizzy

Awesome supermarket range that works well for long easily tangled hair. Nourishing, doesn’t weigh hair down, affordable, smells divine and leaves the hair super clean!! Would 100% recommend if you require an affordable option!!

I love the smell of these products. They leave my hair hydrated and have had less split ends since using them.

You honestly don't need all three products in order to gain what products state. The shampoo for me is like any other. The conditioner and hair cream though for me is what really helps. Using both these products, especially hair cream, has helped my hair look healthier, shinier and softer. Its past my shoulders and bleached so normally looks dry and I've got a few split ends.

Both the conditioner and hair cream have also helped de-tangle my hair a little and even after a couple of days it still has less knots then would usually.

Will definitely re purchase the hair cream again and conditioner x

I was really excited about this system as I have issues with my midlenghts and ends splitting. The packaging is super pretty and practical. I love the fragrance and lightness of all three. My hair felt soft after using the regime. I look forward to seeing how my hair is after longer use as I felt the trial timeframe wasn't really long enough to test its full performance.

I was sent this product set for review, and I’m always keen for some specialist long hair products to try out. May hair tends to frizzy at the ends, and can look a little scruffy!!

From a packaging perspective, this is a pretty decent product set. It’s nothing particularly special, but it doors what it needs to, dispenses the product well, and doesn’t feel horribly cheap. The only small let down is the labelling on the serum, which is basically illegible, so good luck working out what’s in it!!

The whole set seems to work cohesively together, albeit full results are hard to assess after a week trial. It appears to have left my hair feeling pretty nice, and the conditioner was really good for detangling after washing. The serum went well into both wet and dry hair without weighing it down, and I could see how it would benefit my hair after continuous use.

The only downfall of this system for me was the scent of the serum. It wasn’t so much that it bothered me, as much as my partner absolutely hated it, so it’s worthwhile keeping in mind if you’re sensitive to chemical scents. The shampoo and conditioner together weren’t a problem, it was only with the addition of the serum that the scent was too strong.

I probably won’t repurchase the system as a whole, but I’ll definitely see how the shampoo and conditioner leave my hair after a full bottle test, it’s pretty encouraging so far!
