I love the peachy packaging and was looking forward to trying this. It has a nice fruity fragrance and lathers well. My hair felt clean and fresh afterwards.

A nice shampoo to add to the collection for those who likes scented shampoos. Brought this shampoo when i first saw it come on the shelves at my local Pak’n’save store. $3.99 for 325 ml why not? This thick and creamy pearlescent white shampoo is perfumed with a nice floral scent which lingers for a bit after shower. It lathers up really well. Rather than stripping my hair squeeky clean, i feel it delivers moisture and nutrients to the hair. There were also no knots nor kinks, which saves me from using conditioner whenever i feel a bit lazy. Before i use to always shampoo twice and condition once, but with richly nourishing shampoos like these i could skip a step depending on how dry or greasy my hair gets, and not having to wash my hair everyday.
After drying, my hair feels soft, smooth and healthy. My hair is also easy to brush the next few mornings.
With this nutrient rich shampoo, you really don’t need much. So one bottle of this would probably last you a while.
After reading so many fantastic reviews on this I just had to have it. The problem was I couldn't find it anywhere! Finally after a month or so I found it at New World and the bonus was it was on special for only $4!
It comes in a big 325ml bottle. It is orange with pink which makes it really stand out. Consistency wise it is thicker than most shampoos I have used, smells devine, quite fruity and sweet.
I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and I always shampoo twice. I use a nice big dollop, it lathers up so well and leaves my hair feeling clean and refreshed, but not stripped.
I feel like it took me a few washes to actually really like this shampoo. At first it didn't really wow me but after a 3-4 weeks of use my hair is looking a lot better and more manageable.
I will definitely be purchasing this again. Look out for when it is on sale. A bottle lasts for ages.
The smell of this shampoo is very nice, i cant quite tell what it is but its not too strong and leaves your hair smelling nice.
This shampoo done a good job of cleaning my hair as i have oily hair and by the 2nd day (with straightened hair) it still wasn't very greasy which i was very surprised by as it doesn't state if its more suitable for dry or oily hair.
The bottles are very big and the colour of them is very appealing and eye catching.
Using the shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner left my hair feeling very soft and shiny. I will definitely continue using this shampoo and likely repurchase it.
I have very long, curly hair which is quite temperamental. Not often do I find a shampoo that isnt drying on my scalp and doesnt frizz my hair. The shampoo liquid smells amazing. You feel like your using expensive salon shampoo as it has a perfume fragrance that I just couldnt get enough of. Even as I write this review two days after using it, I still smell it on my hair. The liquid foamed up on my hair really well and didnt create a whole lot of tangles as I scrubbed it out. Highly recommend this product.
I was lucky enough to be sent the set as part of a trial team.
I have long hair that has been lightened so the ends are really quite damaged. I am determined to grow my hair out, so hate cutting it, but hate the shaggy dry look too! I was super excited to see that this promises to seal the ends and improve the look of my long lengths and split ends.
The packaging is really pretty with the pinky apricoty colour. I just love the L’Oreal Elvive range and how the shampoo bottle can sit on the lid. This means a lot to me when purchasing shampoo, I absolutely HATE having to balance shampoo bottles in the shower to keep them upside down so I can get the last of the product out!
The shampoo is a thick white cream with a nice subtle scent. It lathers up so beautifully I only needed to wash once or twice at most, and it left my hair feeling clean without feeling stripped.
Overall this is a real winner for me. It’s effective, gentle and does exactly what a good shampoo should.
Tips: You only need a small amount to get a good lather and cleanse
so this shampoo to me is like any other shampoo, scent is nice not too sweet or over powering. I wash my hair twice because ive got so much of it and its past my shoulders, after shampooing it gets your hair really clean or it completely strips every thing out of it haha it feels quite wiry and knotted up. I wouldnt go out of my way to re-purchase this though x
Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this product! Firstly, this product smells so good! Scent is a big factor for me when it comes to choosing a shampoo so this is a big plus for this product. The shampoo is a smooth creamy consistency and a little goes a long way, which makes it more economical than some other shampoos. This shampoo leaves hair feeling clean and nourished. The orange and pink packaging is really cute, and the bottle is just your typical shampoo bottle, so no complaints here. I haven't used this product long enough to be able to definitely say it will push back the time between trims when trying to grow my hair, however it definitely makes it look and feel healthier, so I will be continuing to use it to find out.
Tips: You don't need to use much, a little goes a long way
This was probably the hardest of the trio to review in terms of how it extends time between hair cuts.. but this again does what it says it will do. It states it will cleanse the hair and it does just that. I do get bored of the same shampoo so it is nice to mix it up and use one that is specifically cleanses as some others just don’t cut the mustard or build up after a while.
It’s a creamy formula not too thick or oily and it helps lather and wash the scalp. It prepares your hair nicely for the conditioner to follow. It’s a nice scent hard to describe but feminine for sure.
Eye catching pink and tangerine bottle in it’s huge size that’s value for money and so readily available at supermarkets so is super handy especially when on sale. I can usually get elvive for $5-7 on sale at our local supermarket.
It made my hair feel soft and smooth after the wash so it is obviously helping to assist in smoothing and to help out the conditioner that follows. It smooths but leaves the real smoothing for the remaining two products so I definitely think this works best as a set to increase time between cute as this acts as the cleanser.
My hair when dry is in amazing condition from root to tip, so shiny too - I cannot get past the shine.
Loreal Elvive Dream Length shampoo is marketed for long, damaged hairs. The words on the bottle say restoring shampoo so I was keen to trial as my hair is very long, damaged and also dry so this range should be ideal for me. It contains Caster oil which is considered an important ingredient to help grow hairs by stimulating the hair follicle.
The shampoo is similar to other shampoos in other ranges of elvive products. The packaging is the familiar long, thin tube with flip top lid. It stands out being a orange colour with a hot pink lid. Why change the packaging if it works well! I have found in the past this type of packaging although big, easy to travel with as it doesn't leak. It's a decent size, 325mls so it should last a while.
The shampoo has a thin consistency but isn't runny and has a silky feel. One of the best parts of a shampoo is the scent. Dream lengths is a sweet smell which is like a fruit cocktail of cherry, coconut and vanilla. I'm not actually sure if that's what the scent is but it smells like that to me. It leaves this lovely lingers scent on your hair for a few days too. I wouldn't considered it overpowering and I have a fairly sensitive nose.
I find this shampoo hydrating enough on my scalp without feeling like it stripped away too much of my hairs own natural oils and without it irritating my sometime sensitive scalp. I use about a 50 cent size piece to cover my roots. I normally shampoo twice and twice a week so I kept to my usual routine which worked well with this shampoo. It mixes well with water to give a good lather and a refreshing clean sensation.
Unfortunately I have only been able to trial Dream Lengths twice so far. It is therefore hard to know whether it will help strengthen my hair and prevent breakage like it claims as the instrumental test performed by Loreal says after 10 uses. I really like how hydrating and soft my hair feels so I will continue to use.
