Tips: I only use this once a week as well as the corresponding condition and it works so good
I picked this up from the vault, thanks BR. I quite like the Elvive range and have pretty much tried them all. This intrigued me because I've never used haircare with hyaluronic acid in it but I use it regularly in my skincare. So I just had to try it.
It comes in a 300ml bottle, the packaging is purple which is my favourite colour so I find it appealing. Like the rest of the range it is lovely and thick. The scent smells gorgeous! It lathers up well and definitely makes your hair feel clean.
This leaves my hair feeling hydrated and smooth. I would love to buy the matching conditioner to see how they work together. This is a lovely shampoo and I would happily recommend it.
I really liked this shampoo - it does do what it says it will. It makes your hair feel light and cleaning, but also thicker and fuller.
The shine is amazing and hair is really soft for days after.
I wash my hair twice a week, but sometimes when I try a new shampoo I find it gets greasy fast - this was not the case with this.
The only reason I marked this down is I found it did seem to tangle my hair when using it and the feel of it on wet hair wasn't that nice.
Tips: Follow with the matching conditioner!
I love an Elvive shampoo, out of all of the supermarket shampoos I think L'Oreal do it the best.
I love the packaging, the bottle is convenient and easy to tell apart from the conditioner in the shower.
The fragrance is to die for, it's a light and fresh fragrance, and quite unisex.
The shampoo is quite foamy and not drying at all when using. I tried it without the conditioner once and it left my hair frizz free and shiny, not at all fluffy, just not as soft as when following with the conditioner.
I haven't cut my hair in nearly three years, I have personal reasons for not cutting it for this long but it has resulted in dry, frizzy hair and my self confidence has been really bad because of it but this shampoo and conditioner have been my lifesaver. After the first use I noticed immediate results, everyone was commenting on my hair saying how lovely it looked. It's still a little frizzy due to my annoying split ends but it's a lot shinier and bouncier. This is my new fave. It smells amazing as well, I'm not entirely sure how to explain the smell, like sugared fruits but it's not overwhelmingly sweet. I like to use a small amount and massage it into my scalp and ends, I then use a scalp brush to help get rid of any flakes or nasties, I then wash this out and re-wash with a small amount to ensure it gets foamy. I then rinse this out and follow with a small amount of conditioner on the ends only, I use a tangle comb to brush through the ends and I will wipe any excess from my hands onto the top of my head but ensure not to get it onto my scalp. My hair is so much more healthier than I ever could imagine it could be without having a trim and I'm super, super happy with it. I highly recommend this if you have dry damaged hair.
Tips: A little goes a long way and always shampoo twice.
This is a very prettily packaged shampoo that does a great job of making your hair appear thicker than it actually is. I am an older person with white hair and my hair usually looks flat and lifeless, so I was very surprised at the difference this shampoo makes. It now has body and a pearly shine that I absolutely love. It also feels silky and smooth. It looks like any run of the mill shampoo but it has a lovely, creamy lather and a delicate scent that wont clash with your perfume, Use sparingly till you find the amount you need for your hair. As an added extra, the bottle is recyclable
Packaged in a lovely lilac purple bottle slim enough to not take up too much room in the shower this is a cracker of a shampoo for those with dehydrated hair. I’ve always had dry hair and need to have a shampoo that’s not too heavy but also not too drying and stripping of my natural oils and this one is perfect. It’s not as creamy as I’m used to but using it consistently it did make an improvement to my hairs dryness. A little goes a long way and it has a pleasant but not over powering scent. I actually tried it on it’s own without conditioner and it was still surprisingly soft.
Tips: Shampoo twice, once to remove the dirt and oil and the second for shine. Store upside down as you get to the end of the bottle.
I also use the conditioner and using this first definitely makes a difference over using any other shampoo! This makes my hair feel so clean and soft at the roots. Really moisturising
I normally struggle to find shampoo that works for my hair and I tend to reach for salon quality shampoos. This hands down has to be one of the best supermarket shampoos I've ever tried. It makes my hair soft and manageble. It also means I need to wash my hair less as it stops it getting oily as fast. Not to mention the smell is absolutely divine. I cant explain it but it just smells amazing.
I have lost count of how many bottles of this I have gave gone through, must be at least 5 or 6. I buy it when on special at the supermarket. I wash daily, or else my hair is a triangle of frizz. I wash & air dry and with this shampoo, the matching conditioner and the spray leave in I get decent curly hair. One wash is enough and I only use enough to get my scalp and let the rest of the suds rinse out. Smells nice enough too, doesn't trigger headaches. My 16 yr old son likes using it too, he has the broccoli hair cut and it gives him a lovely curly mop.
