I purchased this foundation as a cheaper everyday foundation as I don't like wasting my expensive usual foundation for everyday use. Small amount goes a long way and is light wearing and long lasting. My only issue is the colour range doesn't seem to match my skin tone quite right but nothing a bit of contouring doesn't fix

I purchased this as I had a last minute client with a deep skin tone and needed a suitable foundation for her.
My client had acne prone oily skin.
I was really impressed with the coverage this foundation gave and the beautiful smooth finish. The foundation was Matte without looking too flat.
I also like the packaging, it’s in a tube which is great for taking away with you.
I would definitely purchase again
Tips: More suited for normal or oily skin types. If you are a dry skin type I would recommend making sure you do plenty of skin prep before applying.
So I have super oily skin with few dry patches and I've always found most foundations don't sit well on my oily skin. I had never heard of this until I saw a L'Oreal sale at a pharmacy I was in so I went and looked without any intentions of buying anything but I couldn't help myself when I saw this! I think that this foundation blends into my skin so well! I have lots of redness that it covers amazingly, it has more coverage than most foundations I've tried. It blended into my skin so nicely and flawlessly and then it wore on my skin very nicely. I will be using this for a very long time I am in love with it! Wish it was cheaper when its not on sale.
I picked up a tube of Infallible 24H Matte Cover Foundation in the Rewards Vault, in the colour Golden Beige. The tube says, "Shake well before use", but I find it really difficult to shake, as the formula is a thick liquid, sort of a combination between a liquid and a mousse.
The 30ml tube with a thin nozzle is easy to squeeze and the foundation doesn't rush out, which it nice, as it allows me to get the perfect amount each time. At first, I applied this with a foundation brush (over primer), but found that it looked very cakey. The next day I applied it with my fingers and it looked a little better. Over the next few days, I tried various primers under this foundation, yet it still looked patchy and cakey. The mattifying effect only lasted about four hours before my face started to get oily and very shiny, and the foundation started to 'slip', gather in creases under my eyes, and transfers horribly if I accidentally touch my face.
I can't see any SPF listed anywhere, and I do like my foundation to contain SPF. I definitely wouldn't call this foundation infallible, and I definitely didn't get 24 hours of matte coverage, only three to four hours. Sadly, this foundation is a no from me. I will not be recommending it or repurchasing it. I do have the L'Oreal Infallible 24H Fresher Liquid Foundation, which I will be comparing this to.
Tips: If you have oily skin, try the L'Oreal Infalliable 24H Freshwear Liquid Foundation instead (I found it to be better than the matte cover one).
I used to have oily skin a few years ago, but lately it’s been on the dryer side(aging), especially in the winter, so I’m not really the perfect group for this foundation. However I still bought 2 tubes of this foundation simply because I’ve found my perfect shade match! Already used a whole tube and can’t wait to use my unopened one again in the warmer months. It settles into my wrinkles and accentuates dry patches in the winter(but there are tricks I use against this, just no time for this routine in the mornings), so been using different foundations for the meantime. It is a very thick cream, mousse-like paste rather and it’s very easy to overapply, I only need a tiny bit to spread across my whole face and neck. If it is a bit too matte or drying I apply it with a damp beauty sponge or mix a drop of face oil into my moisturiser and it’s all fixed. Oil really helps this foundation to slide across the face beautifully, however I understand it’s counterproductive for people with oily skin. It is indeed full coverage but I only use a tiny amount, so I take it down to a medium coverage and it looks more natural for my liking.
I worked in promotions and got giving a range of different shades of this foundation. I found this is a really good foundation. It has a matte finish and doesnt mattify during the day. I did find that there were a few dry patches so have to make sure to wear primer with this one. Also good to use darker shades for eyeshadow and contour. Overall good foundation and would buy again!
The coverage is great on my skin , I only use abit because it can appear thick on my skin Nice matte finish Quality finish. And a great price.
This was listed as a good dupe for Double Wear, so thought I’d give it a bash!
The colour I chose looked pretty close to my skin colour but I find it oxidises and goes a lot more orangey as the day goes on.
The tube is handy, as you can stand it on the lid and the product is right at the end so when it gets towards the end of the tube you don’t struggle to get the last drops out. The nozzle is small and thin so you can really control the application of product.
It’s quite thick, and easy to over do it! I also find it settles in to and accentuates dry patches and fine lines. It does last all day, there is some transfer but for the price point does a good enough job.
For me, other than the coverage and overall finish not much else compares to Double Wear. I keep this for going out in the evening so the dry patches/fine lines aren’t as noticeable in the darker lighting.
I swore by Estee Lauder double wear and no foundation I tried matched it. that was until Estee Lauder messed up all the shades and I couldn't find a proper shade for my skin the shades were either to orange or too grey.
I wanted something that was longwearing and minimal transfer, I tried the Lancome Teint Idole range and this one failed dismally it disintegrated within an hour.
I then came across this one at a warehouse sale and I regret not buying more, the price was really good and the first shade I tried matched perfectly. I test drove it for a full day and I loved how its packaged, application and I love love how super smooth my skin looked after. My skin stayed super flawless until I removed it.
I just used my normal Niacinamide serum as a base.
I will definitely buy it again if I find it on sale, well I think I will just buy it again regardless as I really loved the finish.
I bought this foundation not long after it came out, it wasn't super expensive, but it wasn't super cheap either. Even though its matte it didn't stick to any dry patches I might have had, or look cakey, like I was wearing too much foundation. If I ran out of the foundations, (I have a problem), I'd buy this one again!
