I've come to love L'Oreal products as the products truly live up to what they say they will do. The Magic Retouch was no exception. I missed my last hair colour and it showed up dreadfully. I'm only grey in the front so I was able to direct the spray in exactly the right place. The colour is instant and blended in perfectly with my colour and the regrowth was gone - just like that! The first time I used it, I sprayed it too close to my scalp so that got coloured as well, but I soon got the distance right. I was expecting there to be a scent of some sort but I really didn't notice if there was or not. It washes out very easily and I couldn't 'feel' it on my hair. Overall, definitely recommend this product :)

Tips: Droplets landed on my hand-basin (which is white), so cover with a towel as is difficult to remove or rinse off immediately.
I went pretty grey from an early age and have been dyeing my hair ever since. As a Mum, I don't get to dye my hair that often so I tend to rely on products that can give my hair a wee touch up.
This is a great product because it does just that.
It's easy to use, gives great coverage and doesn't smell too chemically.
Make sure you apply from a slight distance so as not to soak your hair too much. This will stop product from seeping into your scalp and running down in case it rains and it hasn't dried.
Its definitely a good product and would purchase it again.
Wow this product does exactly what it says it does! I have those dreaded grey hairs coming through on my part and with having dark hair they show up quite well. When I first got the Loreal magic retouch in DarkBrown I tried it the very next day after washing my hair, it and was really impressed how easy it was to spray in with the very thin long nozzle. The colour blended in really well and covered my grey extremely well. After it had dried ( which didn't take long) I touched my hair and there was no transfer of colour from my hair. The Loreal Magic Retouch stayed in until the next time I washed my hair without having to reapply. I was really Impressed I've tried other various brands and types of grey cover ups but none have even come close to being as good as this! I would without a doubt reccomend this product to anyone needing to cover thos dreaded greys.
Tips: Use your hand over your forehead as a sheild to stop any product getting on your forehead and face.
I have used this product before in a different colour & it's a fantastic product.... Does exactly what it says it will do and that's provide 'temporary grey coverage' ....I got given the Blonde Magic Retouch to try and having recently lightened my hair to a light ash blonde the colour matched perfectly & covered my grey regrowth. Super easy to use with no mess application, dries fast and lasts until next hair wash & looks totally natural.
It comes in a good sized can and it's definitely worth it - available at supermarkets, chemist & department stores.
Out of all of the grey coverage products out Magic Retouch Spray is by far the best, don't even bother with the rest this stuff is awesome.
I have natural dark brown hair which is growing out a colour I had put in last year. I have greys coming through at the roots and around my face. This root concealer spray works really well to cover the grey hair between washes. Easy to use, just spray onto dry clean hair.
Tips: Apply sparingly about 10 cm from hair, do not get onto clothing, it will stain.
Magic Retouch is the best, I use it to touch up the grey roots around my temples which helps me to get longer out of my colour. It’s easy to use has no nasty smell and drys in minutes. Perfect Touch Up. Definitely recommend.
I've used this to cover greys, and in between dyeing my hair. I like it because it lasts a full day, and only comes out when I shampoo my hair. I'd definitely keep using this to cover my greys when I don't feel like dyeing my hair. Highly recommend.
Got this during lockdown, I didn’t expect much, I had grey hair to cover so purchased a brown colour which matched my hair. Lasts a day for me, I didn’t get as many uses out of the can as claimed. However I was using a bit. I will be buying this again.
I've used this product for a few years now as a touch up in between colouring. I am probably about 30% grey and colour dark brunette. It works well to cover grey and you can't tell you're wearing it.
Tips: Be careful to spray lightly and build on it rather than a thick layer, you'll end up colouring your scalp which can look a bit weird. If you get a bit on your skin it's easy to wash off with a bit of water. Cover light clothes before using a dark coloured spray.
I brought this when it first came out and was very disappointed. It turned my scalp brown! When I saw this review come up, I thought I had to try I again. So after I had washed, dried and straightened my hair (arrgghh) I sprayed in on, instead of spraying straight down, which causes your scalp to go brown. I sprayed from the front a bit diagonally across the top of the hair. It worked amazingly. The spray was fine that hairspray and it dried very quickly. I've tried hair crayons and hair mascara and I say Magic Touch is far better. I'm glad I gave it a second chance!
Tips: Don't spray directly down on to the hair, it may cause the scalp to colour
