I have been trialing this product for the past 2 weeks. I really like how it feels on my face. It is very easy to apply with the dropper and it absorbs well into my skin. It doesnt leave my face feeling greasy, and my face feels fresh after applying it. I notice that my skin is softer and less dry. I have decided to incorporate this product into my daily skincare regime.

Tips: Dont leave the top half off in your make up bag! I did this, opps
I've been waiting for brands to bring out a Hyaluronic Acid serum for a while. Sure there have been HA creams in the supermarket for a while now, but the concentration of HA has always been lacking.
L'Oreal have really impressed me with their offering! From my research the level of HA in this is enough to make a difference to the skin, meaning we can get salon skin care at a good price.
The glass bottle is beautiful, and matches the L'Oreal Revitalift Filler range well. A classy addition to the vanity.
I've been using this twice a day for a couple of weeks and haven't really used much at all - maybe a quarter of the bottle?
The effects on my skin: soft, supple and a noticable improvement to my crow's feet and fine lines. It's not filled my deeper lines but hey, I'm not expecting miracles overnight!
I'm going to continue using this happily, and if the effects so far continue I'll be looking for it in a supermarket near me!
Inside this fabulous lilac bottle lies a magical elixir to cure your dehydrated skin woes.
Hyperbole? NOPE. Honestly this stuff is just so immensely good I can't find any faults with it! I'm unsure of the price point at the time of writing this review, but I would pay top dollar for it - and that's not something I'll say very often!
I have mature skin and am noticing some sagging and fine lines. With just 2 weeks of use my skin looks fresher, feels firmer and dare I say it, looks more youthful. My complexion is more rosy than ruddy, and I'm finding I don't need to use my heavy day and night creams with this product. It's so hydrating I've been using a lotion instead.
The scent is quite clinical. I like it, and prefer it to florals or herb scents often find in skin care.
I will be telling all of my friends to look out for this, and until it's release I'll be keeping my bottle under lock and key!
Tips: I find using it on damp skin really helps it soak into the skin.
The packaging is top notch - full of information yet easy to read. The box and glass bottle are recyclable, the pipette isn't. 2/3 aint bad.
I used maybe 4-5 drops for my face and neck, I think there is enough product for 6 weeks of using it twice a day.
L'Oreal claims skin will feel immediately hydrated, plump and supple and I can confirm this is true! Everytime I use this I'm pleasantly surprised by how soft my skin feels after just a few minutes.
L'Oreal claims after 1 week skin will 'regain its bounce' and feel firmer and more toned. I'm not sure about bouncy skin, but its fair to say after a week I definitely felt my skin was looking and feeling more refined and definitely less crepey.
The wrinkle reduction is promised to continue over the next 6 weeks, so I'm excited to see the results then, but at the 2 week mark I am very impressed.
I am nearly 40 and have normal to oily skin. This hasn't tipped my skin either to more oily, or to dry, it maintains it's usual balance. It pairs well with the mix of creams I use and doesn't pil under make up.
I'm trying to think of a negative but I'm struggling. Will update my review if anything springs to mind!
I were very excited to be picked for this trial product - the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumping Serum, as my skin has been a tad dry during the last few months, so any form of moisture was very welcome as I am experiencing fine lines and multiple skin issues as I nearing the 50 mark. After reading up on the product I could not wait for it to arrive and have a go. It is reported to reduce signs of damage and defects and are designed to protect skin from outside elements. Rich in texture and formula, this silky balm re-plumps skin, defining contours and calming red areas (which in really need). I am like the purple colour of the glass container as it looked really expensive on my dresser, it has a dropper to ensure you only use the minimal amount. Quoted: “It came with an Innovative applicator, that helps to deliver the optimal daily dose of serum. It is designed to protect the formula from air and light so it remains in its purest state” The bottle feels luxurious and are just the right size to fit easily into one’s hand and very stable on my dresser. The packaging matches the colour of the bottle and the L’Oréal branding is standard.
I found a feint smell from the product and found that it feels a little sticky when applying although it is water based but the stickiness disappeared after a few minutes.
I could apply moisturiser and foundation easily and no clumping occurred, and my skin felt bouncier. I saw a noticeable difference in my skin after only a few days! My skin was smoother, plumper and more hydrated and have been using it every day (not nights I’m to lazy). Although I have only used the product for just over 2 weeks, I definitely noticed that my skin looked healthier and that the fine lines around my eyes seemed to disappear, but will like to see the results after 4 weeks, as the pigmentation on my cheeks and the dark circles and hollows under my eyes are much less noticeable already.
Will definitely be recommending this to my friends and family. At $64 from Asos it seems a bit expensive, but I will keep on shopping around for a better price.
Tips: Use only 2-3 drops -- it is more than enough Do not apply to eyelids! Keep out of the direct sun - I store mine in the original packaging inside my dresser drawer
This comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper, a plus that it's recyclable.
Does this do what it claims? Absolutely! The texture of my skin feels smoother and more hydrated, my crows feet are less noticable which is definitely a bonus. If only this was around when I was younger this may have helped to keep those lines away for longer.
The instructions say to use on clean dry skin, however I find that if I splash a little water on my face beforehand the serum glides over my skin and I don't need to use as much. I finish with an eye cream and moisturiser to lock it in. My foundation sits nicely on my skin and my dry patches have reduced too. I'm not sure on the price of this serum but if it's within the same range as the day and night moisturisers it will be a fair price.
Tips: Splash some water on then apply the serum.
I like this serum, but only after figuring out which way it’s best to use. Right after washing my face, while it’s still slightly damp, I apply a full dropper amount to my face and neck and it seems to work best this way. I always need a good moisturiser after to seal it in as well, I tried it without, but it wasn’t hydrating enough for my dry skin. Also, if I applied this on dry skin, it seemed to draw moisture out of my skin even more, rather than draw moisture into my skin, so I need to make sure to use it right after washing my face or use a nice face spray under or over it. I can see slight improvements in the plumpness of my skin after a few weeks of use, but nothing miraculous, wrinkles are still here and they don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. We have a different type of this serum, for some reason the NZ market has gotten a version with perfumes in it, while the US version is perfume free, as advertised as well. I’d be really interested to know why they make different versions as they sometimes do with products, I noticed this before. I wouldn’t buy this serum for full price as it didn’t give wow worthy results and it’s just not worth the hassle for me.
Tips: Always use on damp skin or use face spray, so the Hyaluronic acid would draw moisture into your skin and not out of it!
I was super excited to be picked for this trial. Thanks BR! I have used hyaluronic acid a few times and quite liked it. I have dry skin so I know it can be very beneficial for me. I really like the packaging, it looks very high end. A nice sturdy 30 ml glass bottle with a dropper. However the lid stopped working after a week and wouldn't screw on tightly which was really annoying. The box has a lot of useful information and directions on how to use.
I have been using this for exactly 2 weeks. The first week I used morning and night then I cut it back to just nights. I cleanse then use a spray toner then apply a few drops of this while my skin is still damp as I have been told that is the best way to apply because hyaluronic acid is a humectant, so if you apply to dry skin it can end up dehydrating you further by drawing the moisture from the deeper layers. Then I apply my normal moisturiser. My foundation sits well on top which is great.
It has quite a masculine fragrance to it, reminds me of lynx shower gel for some reason. It has a lovely light consistency and feels nice on my skin. I get no stinging at all and it dries down with no tacky feeling. A little really goes a long way. When I use a new product it can break me out and thankfully this did not do that.
My skin had dry patches around my nose and I noticed this went away after only a few uses. I am 37 and have fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes and these definitely look softened so I am excited to see the results after longer use.
Overall after just 2 weeks of use my skin looks healthy and hydrated and feels super soft with no dryness whatsoever. I've noticed it is also really smooth which I am loving. This is a lovely serum which I will happily continue to use. I would definitely buy this. I can't seem to find a price for it anywhere so am interested to see how much it costs. A big thumbs up from me.
Tips: Update: After another 3 weeks of continued use I must say I am loving this hyaluronic acid so much. As I look in the mirror I am amazed at what I see! My face is so much smoother in appearance and feels super soft and bouncy. The fine lines on my forehead and around my eye area have dramatically reduced and I'm not sure if it is a coincidence or not but since using this I have noticed I have not had many breakouts at all! My skin is so clear! My redness is also dramatically reduced especially on my cheeks.
It has done wonders for my dry skin. It is now super hydrated and I have not had a dry patch at all while using this. That is crazy as my skin is always dry and flaky. My makeup goes on a million times better and I am finding I am wearing way less and feel more confident going bare face as my skin just looks amazing. I love this hyaluronic acid and will definitely buy it once I have run out. I have only used 1/2 of the bottle so it is great value for money with such great results in a short amount of time. I have had 2 people tell me how amazing my skin looks! That never happens! This is now a staple for me, it is a real game changer and my skin has never looked this amazing! I can't stop raving about this to everyone!
For my age, and skin type, any products which scream Hyaluronic acid, I'm on board with and have it in my shopping cart! My 40+ skin loves and needs hydration, and while my wrinkles are minimal, there are some deep creases in places that other products haven't quite managed to plump out - so I was excited to be on this trial and see if this magic potion has a little bit of something extra to plump up my skin.
First impressions is that it's a lovely purple glass bottle - similar packaging to the other Revitalift products. It also has a long glass dropper for dispensing the serum. I believe with Hyaluronic serums they're best kept out of light - so store this in a cupboard when not using! The serum itself is lovely, and a lightweight gel that I found absorbed into my skin easily and quickly. You only need a couple of small smears of the product, for coverage of face and neck. After application, I spritz my face with a face mist, then use a rosehip oil, followed by my SPF moisturiser. All applied and absorbed over the serum really well. I tend to leave my skin for 5 minutes before. Applying makeup - I had no issues with pilling, and my makeup felt fresh and my skin felt healthy and hydrated through the day.
I only used this for 2 weeks, so it's hard to tell the level of wrinkle plumping gained in such a short time, but I have a dominant forehead crease that seemed less deep as time went on. I particularly noticed this, because my foundation normally sits in that crease, and it appeared to be less noticeable than usual.
The serum itself I use morning and night - and it's been in my routine for nearly two weeks, and I definitely feel the effectiveness and level of hydration and glow seems to be greater than some of the cheaper hyaluronic acid products I've used. My skin didn't break out with this product and it definitely delivered on hydration and extra plumping of the skin. It feels healthy when I take make up off at the end of the day, and use this as part of my night time routine.
I'm not sure of the price point, but it will likely be on par with the other products in the range, and there's always a good L'Oreal promo at Farmers - so I think this one is a keeper. It will also last a fair amount of time, and only 2 drops are needed day and night, and I can see this lasting quite a while yet.
There's lots of hyaluronic products on the market, but I think this serum definitely delivers on its promises and packs a punch at what is likely a good price.
With longer use I think my skin will continue to look hydrated and hopefully some of the deeper wrinkles will plump a little more. All in all I was impressed.
Tips: Use on damp skin - if you use on dry skin, hyaluronic acid can have the opposite affect as it will draw moisture from where ever it can find it. I apply to damp skin, and then afterwards spritz my face with a face mist to add moisture to the mix and really get hydration going. (I continue to spritz my skin during the day - particularly when in an office environment)
UPDATE: Just over month of using this serum and I still really love this product. I'm a bit over halfway through the bottle, and my skin remains plump, and hydrated. I haven't had my usual 'waves' of dry looking skin that comes and goes with the seasonal weather. My makeup looks fresh and more natural. I don't feel like I need to remove makeup and moisturise when I get home after the work day. Fine lines are definitely softened and makeup is less inclined to sit in lines. I really love the product - I've used cheaper brands of hyaluronic acid and they work well, but this one has an extra punch that really works for my skin/age.... Definitely recommend this serum for the 40+ age group where you're looking for plumper, more hydrated looking skin.
I was lucky enough to be selected to trial this for BR review! I have used the other products in this range, but I didn't notice a lasting affect as they were either once off (mask) or week supply of capsules.
This product looks great, i love that the packaging is glass, has a lovely scent and absorbs really quickly in to the skin. I use a fair amount, almost an entire 'squeeze' worth and apply it all over my face and neck. I didn't see any drastic changes in my skins elasticity or plumpness, but it definitely felt smooth and far more hydrated. Undoubtedly will see a change over a longer period of time, as most products take a full skin cycle to show results.
For the readiness and price point, this is a good buy for sure and I would recommend it to those wanting to start experimenting with Hyaluronic Acid products.
