Packaging great Product is in a glass bottle - applicator has 3 stainless steel balls which I thought was a great invention. Upon application there was too much product which seemed a waste. It was hard to control application of product due to it's liquid consistency. I applied to my under eye and eye lid by rolling the applicator back and forth. I patted in the excess until it dried. My eyelids ended up a bit stiff until it completely soaked in. I haven't noticed much of a difference to my under eye area, although I don't have that much of a problem with bags or wrinkles, as I was using an eye cream before the trial which is great. My under eye area did shine a bit from the glossy look of the product One thing I will rate it for is its a great base under eyeshadow and makes your eye make up "pop" more so that was a bonus. Other than that I wouldn't say it really did alot for me. I would refer to a friend to try if they weren't using an alternative but I wouldn't purchase this product.

Tips: Great as a base under eyeshadow - made my eye makeup 'pop"
Jumping straight in, I have been using this serum day and night for a number of weeks before posting this review. Before starting the trial I was developing crows feet, had existing under eye wrinkles (where concealer would get creased into), slightly drooping eyelids, and dark purple circles at the corners and under eye. Consistency - Goes on smooth and absorbs well, can become sticky. I prefer to leave it on to absorb rather than use my fingers as I want the full effect. If you don’t like a slightly sticky feeling then definitely use your fingers to help it absorb faster. Application - The product comes with a 3-ball wand for a little eye roller massage. The cooling feeling is so nice and the wand makes it so easy to get right into the creases and folds. I also love that I don’t have to use my fingers as some of the product would naturally come off on them. Fragrance - I didn’t really notice any fragrance. Coverage - One wand application is actually more than enough for both eyes, top and bottom. I try to sort of shake it back into the bottle as I’d love for this product to last ages and ages. And again, the product can become slightly sticky, so less IS more. Longevity - I have been using twice a day for weeks and have used barely anything. I can tell this product is going to last months and months, if not until the end of the year, maybe even into the new one! Price - Depending where you shop, you can get this product for $30-$45. Even at $45, I think it’s worth it. Similar serums can cost the same, won’t last as long, and don’t provide the same results. So yup, definitely worth every cent. Results - Eyelids: firmer. Crows feet: gone again. Under-eye wrinkles: smaller, firmer, plumper skin. Dark corners: lighter. The only thing I’ve not noticed any change in is the purple circles under my eyes. I’ve said it before, nothing helps these. I’m 100% certain this is hereditary as my whole family has got them, and most likely only expensive surgery will help, sigh. At least my concealer no longer creases under my eyes! I would recommend this product highly.
Tips: Use both sides of the wand
I was excited for this product as I love other items in the range. Similar to other products in the range it comes in a square glass bottle which comes in a box which the applicator lid that has 3 small beads which I wish was only two as I felt 3 was to much and clear thin product would drip and cover to much area which the length of 3 beads I feel as if 2 would have been more controllable.
I had high hopes as the first time I put it on I pretty much instantly felt the skin pulling tighter as the product dried. Thus could have been the replumping, However I haven’t noticed to much different to the lines or dark circles which is disappointing I am still hopeful that with ongoing use I may notice more difference and will add to my review.
Tips: Wipe applicator to avoid excessive dripping
I have always neglected my eyes, so I was very excited to take part in this trial - thank you! My under eye area has fine lines, some puffiness and crows feet. My eyelids are super crinkly and dry, so I always struggle with eyeliner or eyeshadow. I was hoping this product could help, and I think that after two weeks of use, it really has!
First of all - the packaging. I dont love or hate the applicator. It is a wand with a wee row of metal balls which you use to apply below and above eyes. There are good instructions on the box, and following them made me feel like I was treating my eyes nicely! It seems a bit excessive having multiple balls on the applicator wand - I probably could have done with just the one really. it was nice lying the wand flat across my eyelids, but then I got way too much product on them, so the nice cool feeling is probably not worth it due to this. The problem I found with using too much product was the stickiness! My eyelid stuck to my brow area after the first use! I learnt that you really need to pat it in for a while, and let is really sink in before using any other products.
I didnt notice too much for the first week or so, my eye area felt nicely hydrated, and the product did not irritate my eyes at all which is great. during the second week, I realised that my eyelids were alot smoother than normal, and I was pretty excited to use eyeliner (which I own but hardly use due to the crinkles making it too hard). This product hydrated my eyelids so well that they were much smoother than normal and I could actually draw a line on! For that reason alone I will repurchase this product. I would also say that my under eye area is looking alot smoother and firmer, and overall I think this is a good product.
Main pro - smooth skin around my eyes (even eyelids woohoo) Main con - the sticky feeling was a bit yuck (but does go away)
Tips: Let it sink in really well before using other products, and persevere through the initial sticky feeling!
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Eye Serum has definitely reduced the wrinkles and crows feet from around my eyes. The skin is noticeably smoother and softer and the wrinkles are not as deep or defined as they were. It has a nice light consistency so I find it really easy to apply and it is lovely and cooling around my eyes which is especially good when my eyes are feeling really tired. It has a nice but very subtle smell to it which disappears as soon as it dries. A little goes a long way so be careful not to put too much on. It also means that one bottle will last for quite awhile which is great and it is also priced well so that is a double bonus. I like the packaging and the applicator although it would be even better if the balls actually rotated in the applicator.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to smooth the wrinkles and fine lines around their eyes.
Tips: I found it really good to dab the applicator under each eye a couple of times to apply some of the product first, before then doing the massaging circles. I found that if I didn't do that then sometimes when I started doing the circles it felt like it was dragging the skin a little bit before there was a bit of product on my skin.
Thanks BR for giving me the chance to try out this amazing eye serum. If you’re a fan of the facial Hyaluronic acid serum then you’re going to love this. It comes in a similar bottle as the other one but has 3 small metal balls attached to the wand which are really lovely on puffy under eyes. It dispenses quite a bit of product so I tap it around the lid before using it around my eyes. It sinks in fairly quickly and sits beautifully under concealer. I have dry under eyes and this little bottle of magic has hydrated them more than anything else I’ve tried. I have used this both morning and night and haven’t really noticed any anti ageing effects on my fine lines and even with the cooling balls I still have eye bags but otherwise I love this product. I have tried putting another eye cream over the top and it sat beautifully so I may keep doing that and see if that helps the lines.
I love rituals so I was delighted with the instructions for use with this eye serum. Circular motions under the eye, followed by a sweep where the crease of the eyelid meets the brow bone and finished with activation of pressure points. Using this serum feels like a treat. The metal ball bearings providing soothing coolness which is a perfect way to combat the dry heat provided by the heatpump in our house. I can imagine it will feel equally as good after a big night out or for itchy allergy eyes over hayfever season. With no fragrance I could detect, no negative reaction to the product, the attractive, no wastage packaging and the soothing serum applied with steel balls, L’Oreal’s Paris Revitalift Eye Serum is off to a great start but do my eyes look 5 years younger? Unfortunately no. But in saying that, because it does feel so good when my eyes are tired I will use the whole bottle. So would I recommend it? For someone who is looking for a soothing product, yes. For someone wanting to turn back time; no.
Tips: I did notice it’s easy to get a little too much product over the eye area (I may have over indulged in the delight of the cold metal against my skin) but a gentle pat (no rubbing) with a make up remover pad after the care ritual easily takes care of that.
I’ve used several serums now but I like this one the most by far. What I like most about it is that it’s not sticky. It’s quite runny (like water) and is absorbed very quickly which I liked. It seems to help create a good base for my makeup. I’m not sure about the applicator which has 3 little ball bearings to spread the product. I didn’t use as much as suggested as it was just too much for my skin. Will I continue using it? Absolutely - I like the results and it’s a great price.
I've used a few of the revitalift products now and they are always lovely products to use and this eye serum is no different. It comes in a gorgeous wee glass bottle and is very easy to use and apply. It has these wee ball things that kind of massage your skin as you apply. This one instructed you apply it under the eyes and on the eyelids. It goes on easily, blends in well and does not leave a greasy feel. I did notice it feels quite soothing as you initially apply it. Used consistently I noticed the area under the eye looked slightly less puffy which was a bonus but other than that didn't notice any other significant difference. I would keep using it though as it is a lovely product and a small improvement is still a bonus right.
Tips: Don't use too much on the eyelids or they tend to feel a tad sticky.
I've often wondered if an eye cream, or serum, as is the case with this product would do anything, and this product has answered my question - yes.
First of all, the glass bottle is nice and I like the addition of three balls to help apply the product (I did also use my fingers to press any excess serum in after application). The product itself is clear and sinks in quickly. Immediately I felt a tightening around the area.
Over the time I've used this I've seen a marked difference in my eye area. It looks less puffy, more awake, and my lines appear less deep.
Did this surprise me with how well it worked? Yes. Would I buy it again? Yes.
