L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Gel Wash

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. The packaging is nothing to write home about, a pretty stock standard L'Oreal bottle. It has a pleasant fragrance that is not too strong. The gel itself is very thick which makes it easy to dispense just a small amount. And a small amount definitely goes a long way - you do not need to use much at all - which I think is one of the benefits of this product as it will last a long time, making it extremely cost effective. The directions on the bottle are clear and easy to use and the gel lathers up nicely on the face. After rubbing it around for around 20 - 30 seconds, it has a cooling feeling on your face - or maybe a slightly burning feeling, but it feels fresh and nice. And after rinsing off my face felt cool and tingly. The first night I used it, I was so surprised that my skin looked so smooth and shiny and was so soft and smooth to touch. I couldn't believe it would give me that result the first time using it! And even better, it gives me that result every single time I use it. I have also noticed that my skin is looking visibly smoother and brighter all round and that is only after 2 weeks. The directions are to use it morning and night, and to be honest I find it hard to use in the morning as I shower every morning and forget to take it into the shower with me. I will definitely continue to use this product. I love the results and the product is actually really cheap to buy.

So when I first got this I thought ok standard packaging and tube so nothing too exciting there I tried the 1st time in the morning used a small amount as it directs and the first thing that got my attention was the beautiful smell this is something I have found lacking in alot of face washes I have tried in the past then it semi foams up into a lather on your skin and you rinse off after the first use my face felt very fresh clean and just abit brighter I used it each morning and night and at the end of trialing it my skin definitely looks and feels like it's really resurfacing my skin especially my pores they aren't so prominent anymore the fine lines around my eyes are starting to firm give it time I think they will become even less visible I am going to continue to use this product aswel as add more of the products to my daily routine I think this 1 could be a game changer for woman starting to look and feel their age

Packaging is classic Olay colouring and style. With a snap lid, and soft plastic, it is easy to dispense a small amount of cleanser onto hand. And you only need a small amount, meaning this product will last for ages… which is also good, as it is good. Applying to wet face as directed it has a slight pleasant fragrance, and is smooth to apply. The gel foams slightly to give that white soapy look. I then use a wet cloth to remove. It left me skin feeling fresh and clean, and worked well removing makeup. In the two weeks I have been using it, I haven’t felt the need for extra exfoliating, so it’s hidden exfoliate feature must be working.

This cleanser is so thick, it's the thickest gel I've ever used. If you over-decant it, it will be too much for your face, so squeeze gently!

That's the only negative.

This is a refreshing, tingling cleanser, it kind of feels like that menthol feeling (in a good way!) and it works to a very light foam.

As this is a cleanser with an active, I don't want to slap it on and immediately wash it away, so I work it up and then leave it on for a minute or so before rinsing away thoroughly.

I experienced no stinging or reaction, I actually found it gentle and non-stripping.

Immediately after use you can feel the difference, skin is soft and isn't tight at all.

This is an amazing introduction to gylcolic acid, a great cleanser and a really good RRP. I'd happily buy it at full whack!

The Revitalift Resurfacing Gel Wash with 3.5% Glycolic Acid is a fantastic anti-ageing facial cleanser that will leave your face feeling cleansed and soft from the first use. It's a very easy to use gel wash, and only a small amount required with each use. Applied to damp skin, using a circular massage motion, it will give your skin a deep exfoliating clean without the scrub of harsh beads. This gel wash doesn’t have a strong fragrance, just a hint of a fresh scent that is pleasant without overpowering. It’s very well priced, with several New Zealand retailers stocking this gel wash, and because a little goes a long way one tube is going to last a long time. The packaging is an eye-catching red with a clear section at the bottom of the tube – which is fantastic for seeing how much you have left! It also has a very secure flip style lid, leaving no fears of leaking. The best part is the eco-designed tube is also made of a minimum of 25% recycled plastic! I believe my skin is glowing, renewed and plumper. From the first wash my face had more of a glow, and impurities were visibly removed. Any build-up of dead skin I had prior to this cleanser have been washed away leaving me with a fresh face, without any drying or tightness. I would recommend this resurfacing gel wash if you’re wanting smoother and brighter skin at a reasonable price. You won’t be disappointed!

So this is a cleanser containing glycolic acid, which meant I was expecting super smooth skin and my dry patches to be gone. I was not disappointed!

I like the tube format, it's functional, however you really don't need a lot of this product and I think it needs to dispense less at a time.

It's really thick - it took me a couple of days to figure out you really have to agitate it quickly so it doesn't get washed away. I used a reusable face pad that's super soft and fluffy and the combo seemed to work well together.

I really like the feel of this cleanser - you can feel it doing something and I think that's not often the case for a cleanser. This is really effective at cleaning the skin and removing make up, but its also the bomb at exfoliating the skin.

I had a few dry patches at the start of this trial, on my cheeks and forehead. These were gone within 2 uses and haven't returned.

My skin looks brighter and healthier and is much nicer to the feel.

I can't believe this is a $15 cleanser - I'd pay more!

This cleanser is a clear gel with very little odour. Only a very small amount is needed to give a great wash. I used it on my face and neck and think it made quite a difference to the feel of my skin. Felt very clean and taut. Long term I expect my skin to look better and better but very happy with it over the the first week I have been using. It’s widely available at a very reasonable price from supermarkets, chemists etc

I must admit that I did not hold out too much hope for this product. I've used glycolic acid face washes in the past that were of a stronger percentage and really enjoyed them... would the 3.5% glycolic acid do the trick?

First of all, I enjoy the packaging, especially that it's an upside down squeeze tube, which means I can get every last drop of package. The product itself is a pink gel in the tube, but looks clear on the fingers. It has a perfume scent to it, which doesn't hang around.

I liked that it wasn't foamy - admittedly I had my eyes closed while washing, so if it was foaming I didn't notice it at the time, or in the bowl after rinsing my skin off.

I loved how soft and smooth my skin felt initially after using, and it wasn't remotely drying to my already dry/normal skin.

Over the week and a bit I've used it my skin has begun to feel smoother, look brighter and just appear altogether clearer.

I am 100% sold on this product, and would happily buy it and make it part of my regular routine.

I got this from my local pak n save on sale for $14 after seeing it recommended on a youtube dermatologists channel. Straight away I could see glowing skin as the cleanser got rid of old skin and new skin emerged. Gentle with a little tingle. My go to twice a day cleanser.
