I have used this for 2 and a half weeks, staring gradually as per the instructions. I haven't got to using it every night yet as I have had reactions to retinol before but so far so good! Seems very mild, beautiful silky texture which leaves the skin soft and supple without being greasy. Nice fragrance although I do prefer little to no fragrance in a face moisturiser, that is the only reason I gave 4/5 stars. Fantastic packaging with innovative press down top which makes it so easy to use. Mess free and economical. I am really looking forward to see how this goes in the next few weeks. I have definitely noticed it has started to even out my skin tone and is also helping with my forehead frown lines and my aging skin on throat. I recommend you try this if you have skin that is showing signs of aging. Just remember to start using it gradually for the skin to adapt to retinol. And to use a day moisturiser with spf in it as retinol makes your skin more sensitive to UV rays and sunlight decreases the efficacy of the product. That's why it make a great night cream and works while you sleep!

Reviews
Tips: Apply it to clean skin.
I've reviewed lots of L'Oreal products before and I have always had the same problem. The pots. You stick your fingers in to get the moisturiser out and voila! Instant germs for your facial breakout pleasure. Well, finally, finally, L'Oreal has brought out the pressed pot. The product is concealed nicely and safely inside, away from dust and germs. You press the lid, and out comes the perfect dollop of moisturiser. Voila, indeed! And as for the product? The Revitalift Laser Retinol pressed cream is really nice. I use a lot of retinol products, so I was able to skip the 'use just twice a week' instructions, and went straight to the 'use three times a week' (I am nothing but a rebel) and it was fine. No breakouts, just a little redness after application, which I quite liked because I felt like it was a sign that it was working. My skin is quite textured, (think little bumps on my cheeks and jawline), and I was thrilled to find that the product kept them in check, giving me a smoother skin profile. I also liked the spreadability of it - it went on smoothly without drag and was absorbed well. I really liked this product - the only reason I'm not giving it a five star result is the scent. C'mon L'Oreal, I may be an old (ish) lady, but I don't have to smell like one. I found the flowery powdery scent very cloying when it went on, although it thankfully faded as it dried. Thanks BR for letting me trial this one, it was a goodie! Recommended.
Tips: Retinol can cause breakouts! Follow the instructions carefully. Use at night and don't forget to wear a sunscreen in the morning.
Ok, major blonde moment. I thought a pressed cream was like a pressed oil...I didn't twig it was referring to the pottle until about day 3 hahahaha.
So you push down and up comes the cream. It's clever and hygienic.
My skin was a little tingly about an hour after use for the first few times but now i'm using evert 2 days without any irritation.
My skin is very soft and my dry patches have gone completely. It looks more dewy and plump, with fine lines looking less apparent.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an anti-ageing product.
Packaging: The pottle is so innovative with its push-down dispenser. I used to push-downs to get enough product for my face, neck and decollatage.
Formula: The cream isn't heavily fragrance but has a scent. It's a white cream, that is more lotion-like.
Usage: It rubs in well and doesn't leave any residue.
Results: I followed the instructions and am now using this comfortably every other night. Occasionally during the day I feel the retinol burn, but it is nothing untoward or unexpected when using retinol.
I love retinol in a cream form, it feels much easier on the skin, but just as effective. My skin is glowing!
WOW! There that's my review. One word. It tells you everything you need to know.
Ok, I better behave and write more!
The packaging is insanely cool - you push the top down and it gently dispenses the right amount of product. No more fingers in the pottle. Honestly I love this feature.
The cream is light and really easily absorbed. It seems to go a long way too.
I'm an experienced Retinol user so I built up a tolerance faster than the recommended usage instructions.
The night cream feels smooth and soft on the skin and the next day my skin is just baby smooth. Over the course of the last few weeks my skin is even in texture, soft, supple and just looks so good.
I will not be without this from now on.
I was very lucky to receive this L’Oreal product as part of a trial team, and it is probably the product that I have been most excited to try so far. I am on the search for an effective anti-ageing face cream, and this night cream contains two very powerful anti-ageing ingredients: Retinol and Niacinamide. The packaging the cream comes in certainly makes it look like a high quality product, and I really like that there are detailed instructions for first time Retinol users on the box. I have recently had some not so good experiences with poor instructions (see my Olay Regenerist Whip review), and it was really great to find that the Revitalift Laser cream comes with excellent instructions. The jar that the cream comes in is also very high quality looking, however, it is not recyclable which is a real shame. The way the jar is designed means that it acts as a pump, dispensing a single dose of cream with every pump. While this is very hygienic, I much prefer being able to choose the amount of cream I want to use. I have been using this cream for about two weeks now, and as per the instructions I have been using it both on my face as well as on my neck and decolletage. The cream has a really nice consistency, not sticky or greasy, but also not too thin, and it quickly absorbs into the skin. I am not a big fan of the smell of the cream, which I find a bit “chemical”, but this may be due to the active ingredients. As per the instructions, I have been wearing SPF during the day, every day. Due to the short trial time before this review was due, and due to the recommendations on the box to only use this cream very sparingly in the first two weeks of use, I have not been able to see any improvements in skin tone or reduction of wrinkles. However, the cream is definitely a very effective moisturiser, and the box says that the efficacy has been proven in studies conducted by independent institutes. I really like that L’Oreal do not do any animal testing, and in fact have not done so for the last 30 years. I will keep using this cream, and will aim to update this review when I have finished the jar and it comes time to decide if I would buy another one.
I have finicky skin that can be sensitive to some products and not others so I went into using this cautiously. Great packing. Dispenses just the perfect amount of product mess free. Only very slight fragrance. Nice and light. Nothing too overpowering. The cream is a really lovely texture and goes on the skin so nicely and absorbs well. This stuff makes my skin feel AMAZING! I had no issues at all until day three it started to feel a bit stingy when I put my normal cream on. Day four my skin was stingy and started to flake slightly. I’d recommend stepping it out to say every third or fourth day for a start to see how the skin reacts. Even if you can only use it a couple of times a week it makes the skin look and feel so lovely it’s totally worth it. Highly recommended!
Tips: Use every 3-4 days to begin with
I loved this, the packaging was not excessive, although the small stopper was difficult to remove originally. Once this was removed it was easy to use and great to be able to control the amount that you use. The smell was really lovely and it felt good on my skin. I would love to have trialed this for longer to give a more detailed review as you gradually increase the amount of days you apply this during the course of a week. Would definitely recommend this as I am sure it will do what it claims with longer use.
Tips: You may need a little help removing the stopper as it is rather small.
I have used retinol creams in the past, and not had any issues with them. Unfortunately for me and my skin this one was way too strong. I started by using it every other day, but by the third use my skin was very dry, and when I used my usual mist toner my skin went extremely red and took hours to calm down. I stopped using the retinal cream at that point, and unfortunately the only product I could put on my face was paw paw ointment and rosehip oil. It was over a week before the dryness dissipated and I was able to return to my normal routines. I will try again, but maybe just once a week until my skin has gotten used to it. I have never had this issue with retinal creams previously so it took me by surprise. The cream is highly perfumed, but quite light, I found it absorbed well. The container it comes in is fantastic, no dirty fingers, or having to find a spatula for this one. 'd love all my creams to come in a container like this!
Tips: take it easy - don't use it every day (or even every second day) to begin with even if you have used retinol products previously.
I was really surprised to get a full size to trial so was delighted to find out what goodness it could do. The jar had a handy press down top that allowed you to get the desired amount - about the size of a pea which would cover my face. The first few times I used it I had a tingling feeling on my skin but I put it down to the good active ingredients starting to work. I used it twice a week like they said and every 2nd day for the second week so really haven't seen much difference. I did get breakouts but that is not unusual for me. My skin did feel a little pumper but not sure I have noticed any improvement to the plumpness of my skin after this short time though. I'm keen to see the full results once I get to use it on a nightly basis.
Tips: Do avoid the eye area as could be too active for it.
