I was really surprised to get a full size to trial so was delighted to find out what goodness it could do. The jar had a handy press down top that allowed you to get the desired amount - about the size of a pea which would cover my face. The first few times I used it I had a tingling feeling on my skin but I put it down to the good active ingredients starting to work. I used it twice a week like they said and every 2nd day for the second week so really haven't seen much difference. I did get breakouts but that is not unusual for me. My skin did feel a little pumper but not sure I have noticed any improvement to the plumpness of my skin after this short time though. I'm keen to see the full results once I get to use it on a nightly basis.

Reviews
Tips: Do avoid the eye area as could be too active for it.
Thanks beauty review I’ve quite liked this trial and I’m pretty sure it’s a re purchase for me. I love the packaging it has a nice strong plastic container that your press down and it releases the cream you don’t need a huge amount so I find it’s just the right amount. I have used it every night since I recieved it even thou the instructions on the box suggest to use it gradually. I’ve found it really good for my uneven skin tone but I feel like more use will help. It’s a great consistency and feels really nice and hydrating on my face. I’m hoping for a firmer neck and repairing a little of the sun damage. My only thing I don’t like it’s the scent it’s quite strong and almost masculine but once I’m asleep I don’t notice lol.
I really liked the one press delivery of this cream , its much more hygenic than dipping your fingers in a pot and it delivers exactly the right amount too. The cream smelt pleasant and wasn't overwhelming in fragrance. It made my skin feel lovely and soft after just two weeks, i didnt notice any wrinkle reduction as yet , but i have only been using it two weeks, i did notice it was very moisturising and my skin does look quite clear. I have used retinol products before so i thought i would be ok to use it almost daily immediately instead of working up to it over a few weeks, however my skin did start to peel a bit, so i have gone back to working up to using it a couple of times a week. I do like it and will continue to use it and see how much my skin improves.
Tips: Work up to using it nightly or it may be a bit strong for your skin at first and you might get a bit of peeling like i did!
This arrived on the eve of my birthday so was a nice early birthday present. The packaging was very in keeping with L'Oréal's standard packaging and as you'd expect. The jar itself looks expensive, in a clinical way. The cream dispenser, with the exact amount of product, is brilliant but I think what I like most is the jar can be opened to get the maximum product out once the dispenser can dispense no more. I hate packaging that traps a good 1/4 of product in the bottom. I've read a few reviews about the product smelling funny but it was pleasant enough for me, not too strong or overpowering. It was with a little trepidation that I started this trial, I even did a patch test which is most unlike me. I was expecting there might be redness and there might be tingling but I felt none of those things and my skin responded well. I followed the directions to the letter and therefore have not trialled the product long enough to get to the stage of using it every second night so haven't seen the full impact of the product on my skin. What I have seen however has been positive. I like the way it sinks into my skin and doesn't leave it feeling greasy. Thankfully, I don't currently have wrinkles to speak of, other than a few creases at my eyes when I smile so my focus was on the renewing of skin, even skin tone and dark spots. I haven't noticed a change in these areas but I will continue to use and update my review if I can see changes. Overall, I think this is a nice product and with continued use I hope and expect to see further improvement in my skin. Thanks so much for picking me for the trial.

Tips: Cleanse before use and follow the instructions with easing into use of the product.
Firstly I love the bottle the pressed night cream comes in, it's just so easy to use and gives you the perfect amount. One pump to do your face and one pump for your neck and decolletage, no guessing how much to use so easy! The cream itself is light and creamy and absorbs quickly into my skin. It has a delicate fresh fragrance which I find quite refreshing before bed. It's not overpowering and disappears quite quickly, it's just enough that you feel like you've done something a bit luxurious for your skin. As this contains powerful ingredients you need to ease into using it, it does warn you can have redness or tingling but I had neither of these. It just instantly leaves you with softer more nourished feeling skin. I'm just starting my week of using this nightly and I feel I can see a difference to my skin. It looks smoother, there's definitely still wrinkles, but in those areas without these lines my skin looks more hydrated and healthier. I look forward to seeing my results in a few weeks time.
Tips: Always wear sunscreen when using this night cream
I already use a number of L'Oreal products so was exited to get this as a trial
The pottle is lovely. The product smells good and i especially liked the way the product came out (push down on lid and a pea sized blob comes out). Easy to apply. The amount in the pottle would likely last 2 months or so i think. Its a similar price to my other products and if you keep an eye out on places like Farmers they usually have a good sale (or Chemist Warehouse).
I followed directions by using 2x a week for first week (wed and Sunday). I will admit i was worried as i tend to be sensitive to certain ingredients and my daughter many years had a severe burning of skin with another retinol product. Thankfully NO severe reactions for me!
As a lot of my L'Oreal products are in a similar squarish pottle, it was good to get this one in a round one. I avoided my eye area as instructed. I put some on my upper chest also and this was the only place through the trial for the first 4x using that i felt a little itchy, (very mild around 1 collarbone in particular) but no redness, no reaction. Feels soft and skin felt great including the next day. The 2nd week i applied every 2nd night. All times i followed up the next day with my usual day cream (L'Oreal day cream with inbuilt SPF) .
REACTION????: If anything i noticed when i sat near the heated air con my face tended to go quite flushed, but upon moving away it settled. I suppose its in keeping with avoiding the sun or wearing a sunscreen the next day as recommended. And again the slight itching on my neck only. Currently i am sitting under the air con and have removed all makeup (will put product on later tonight) and i do find my skin feels dry/tight until i apply some nightcream which never felt this dry prior to using this. But still nothing obvious to look at
Im not one with many wrinkles and what i have mainly only show when i smile. I do have marionette lines that are obvious however. Did i see any drastic changes in 2 weeks? No..not really but im now in the stage (3rd week) that i can apply daily or as tolerated so i will keep using this. I have some uneven skin tone so im hoping this product will sort that out
Would i purchase? Hmm... i already use the day cream with SPF and their night cream with HA, so would i alternate this with my nightcream, or replace my night cream? I dont think so. I think if at the end of this month i see some changes then yes i would swap out....otherwise no, id go back to my usual night cream
My ratings are based on changes in my skin in the past 2 weeks. I'm kinda neutral on it as i think i need longer using it. I will come back and post later after a longer use of this.
Only downside was the writing on the container and box was super small, but thats me being picky. Also i was a bit paranoid about the ingredients and did not want to get this in my eye accidently, probably more concerned then my usual sunscreen getting in my eye when my eyes water :)
Tips: Follow the instructions eg: First week only use for 2 nights...space those nights out! 2nd week - use alternative nights 3rd week - use nightly or as tolerated PUT ON THE PEA SIZE..NOT MORE and ensure you use a sunscreen the next day
I'm a sucker when it comes to new skincare. I am constantly on the hunt to find the best products available when they come on the market, so I jumped at the chance to give the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol Pressed Cream a go when it arose. I have used retinol products before so I went straight to the Week Three instructions where it said to apply it nightly as tolerated. I could tolerate every night. The standout of this product was definitely the pump that distributed the right amount of product - instructions said to use one pea sized pump (I think though it did dispense a little more than a pea size) but that was enough to cover my whole face and neck as well. The scent wasn't overpowering and smelt a little like other L'Oreal skincare products (it had that familiar scent). Once absorbed into the skin I can't say I noticed a lingering scent, so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing you will like this. I also like the fact that is is 50mls. Other retinol creams I have used in the past have only been 30 mls so with the amount that you need to use I can see this lasting quite a while. One issue I had when I first started using it was when I was applying my eye cream. Because there were still remnants of the product on my hand, it did sting a little bit around the eye area, so if you are applying eye cream after this I would suggest washing your hands first. I've only been using it for a week and the product suggests you won't see full results until 8 weeks, I can't attest to the fact as to whether wrinkle and skin tone continues to improve. In the short time I have been using it though I have noticed a definite improvement in my skin texture and it does look like that it is balancing the uneven look of my skin. I have also noticed that the one prominent wrinkle I have by my right eyebrow is diminishing ever so slightly so am excited to see if continual use will diminish it even more. My skin is definitely more nourished and that is great during these winter months where your skin tends to dry out a little. If you have used retinol products before I think you will be a fan. If you haven't used them before, give this one a go.
Tips: One pump is enough. If you haven't used retinol products before definitely follow the instructions and only use it occasionally when first trying it out.
I love retinol and have used it on many occasions in the past. This product comes in a lovely pot with a delivery system that ensures that the unused product doesn't get exposed to fingers, air and bacteria. The cream doesn't have a strong smell which is always a plus for me. It absorbs beautifully and my skin feels nourished and properly moisturized after application. It is not greasy - quite light but nourishing, so definitely ticks that box. I didn't use it every night because I didn't want to risk developing sensitised skin. I cannot say that I have noticed any major difference in my skin, but these are early days and I am hopeful that the product will live up to expectations on continuation of treatment. I am happy to recommend this to my friends and I think it is a lovely product at an affordable price.
Tips: Take care when using retinol for the first time. This may be too strong for sensitive skin. Use sparingly and do not use every night for the first couple of weeks.
I was so excited to receive this and have used L’Oreal’s Pressed Cream Night Retinol + Niacinamide treatment as directed, starting out slowly and increased the frequency of use each week. I did not have any adverse reactions at all and definitely recommend easing into the product, even if you are already using a retinol. The product is packaged in a pump jar which is super easy to use and prevents waste and overuse, I bloody love not having to stick my fingers in a jar of cream every night !! The cream itself is silky with a light fragrance. At first I thought the fragrance wasn't my bag but it didn't last too long and was soon forgotten. Easily absorbed by my skin and made my skin feel plump and hydrated from the very first use. My skin's clarity has also definitely improved and I can see some improvement in some darker spots on my face.I'm looking forward to continuing to use this product to see longer term results, especially on the forehead wrinkes and less than idea neck wrinkles.
Tips: Make sure you take the cream down your neck and decolletage too!
I have used this for 2 and a half weeks, staring gradually as per the instructions. I haven't got to using it every night yet as I have had reactions to retinol before but so far so good! Seems very mild, beautiful silky texture which leaves the skin soft and supple without being greasy. Nice fragrance although I do prefer little to no fragrance in a face moisturiser, that is the only reason I gave 4/5 stars. Fantastic packaging with innovative press down top which makes it so easy to use. Mess free and economical. I am really looking forward to see how this goes in the next few weeks. I have definitely noticed it has started to even out my skin tone and is also helping with my forehead frown lines and my aging skin on throat. I recommend you try this if you have skin that is showing signs of aging. Just remember to start using it gradually for the skin to adapt to retinol. And to use a day moisturiser with spf in it as retinol makes your skin more sensitive to UV rays and sunlight decreases the efficacy of the product. That's why it make a great night cream and works while you sleep!
Tips: Apply it to clean skin.
