So I have been putting off getting a lifting/tightening cream for a while, but after losing some weight in addition to gaining some age, the time has come. This was a pleasing experience. I have definitely seen some strengthening in my skin tone is the 2 weeks I’ve been using it. There is no overpowering scent and the weight of the cream, though heavier than what I’m used to, has not led to a change in my skin balance at all (i.e. no oily or dry patches have developed). I would like to invest in the rest of the range, so the price of it is going to be a hurdle for a Mum or 3 girls, but I would confidently say the investment would be worth it.

Tips: Flip the tub upside down and swipe the moisturiser off the inner lid, if you have long nails like me and don’t like having to dig half the goods out from under them.
This is a good day moisturiser with a nice smell. The product may separate and leaves a liquid so make sure to mix.
Amazing just started to use this. Non greasy and smells good. Skin feels so soft and make up goes on much better after using this.
Tips: Don’t get it near your eyes makes them smart
The cream is a rich formula without but not sticky, I have found some anti-aging moisturisers are just too heavy, creamy consistency and it absorbed readily into the skin and looked natural with no shine The cream has a nice scent. It's presented in a heavy red square jar that looked very stylish. It applies beautifully, absorbs quickly & easily & leaves my skin feeling plumped, hydrated and smooth. The cream has plumped my skin, making the finer lines around my mouth and eyes less noticeable and has given my skin a noticeable glow it has improved my skin tone
I have been using the product on a regular basis twice-daily and has left my skin feeling beautifully moisturised, softened, hydrated especially after a whole day in a warm airconditioned office during winter time, Im quite prone to sensitive dry skin. Its made a noticeable difference on my skin, and the $45 price (less the $5 discount coupon that came with the trial product), this cream is priced extremely well compared to other similar products out there. Will definitely recommend for any ageing skin or dehydrated skin
Tips: Use with other products in the range. Very well priced foaming cleanser (just bought it because I was out) and it was about $11
Have recently started using this product. The packaging is an eye catching deep red with a contrasting silver lid, which makes it stand out from the crowd. The creme is rich with a fairly intense perfume, which is the same as other L'Oreal moisturiser perfumes. Glides onto the face very easily, leaving my face feeling soft. There is no oiliness or residue left on the skin. As an older woman, I would thoroughly recommend it to the over 40's. I will definitely be back for more
I was lucky to be placed on the L'Oreal revitalift trial which included the day cream.
It comes in a ruby red glass jar, feels heavy and looks gorgeous, the cream is filled right to the top.
After applying the serum and letting it sit for a few minutes I dip my fingertips into the cream and apply this to my face and neck. The cream is thick and soft, it absorbs into my skin and I can see the instant benefits of hydrated and nourished skin.
While trialing this for 1 month I have noticed a reduction in redness and my skin looks hydrated all the time. I am constantly touching my skin because it feels soft and smooth. It has made applying foundation easy as it gives my skin a smooth canvas to start with and the foundation sticks to my skin better just like a primer would.
The only downside I have is that there is no SPF in the day cream which I think is a must and would cut down applying extra products that contain SPF.
Overall I will be repurchasing the L'Oreal day cream.
Claims: Corrects, Re-densifies & Re-supports. Wow, I have never used such a lush day cream.
Comes in a 50ml glass pot with secure lid. Silky smooth texture that easily absorbs. Not too thick and not too thin, pale pinky/goldy coloured and delicate fragrance that has that unique Loreal smell. A little goes a long way, nice to massage in and a pea sized amount is perfect for me.
The first 10 days or so my skin just soaked it up, it was so happy to be getting such a great moisturizer. No breakouts either = happy me :)
The cream is so lush, I was surprised by that. Most day creams are a lot less lush and felt very spoilt by this one. Claiming it to be a intensive moisterisor is spot on. I like how they describe it as a re-densifies, that is a great word to describe the change after 4 weeks. Face is much more even, softer and smooth. The cream absorbs well and doesn't leave a nasty "silky" layer that some other creams do making putting foundation on annoying. I have stayed hydrated all day, the wear of the cream is remarkable.
Even more remarkable due to me needing to have my cooling pump on during the day at the moment, I would have expected air conditioning to dry my skin out more but nope. Only down point is that it doesn't have a SPF factor, I never not use SPF on face so just a little before moisterising does the trick but nice not to have to worry. Wouldn't stop me re-purchasing again though.
The packaging didn't jump out at me as amazing, the Loreal red is nice but the packaging itself is a bit hoo-hum so if I was browsing for a product would probably overlook this one. But boring is good in this case. The red and grey packaging matches the pot.
After 4 weeks only used about 15% so would expect to last for another 3-5 months for sure. Storing in a cool & dark cupboard also helps with keeping it fresh. Using a serum before I really haven't used that much, just perhaps a pea sized amount. But the most remarkable thing about this product (& the serum and night cream as I can't 100% pin point it) is my cheek redness has dramatically decreased. I don't have Rosia or anything like that, just red rosy cheeks that annoyed the be-jebers out of me. I wouldn't go without using a decent colour corrector. No more colour corrector needed. Very unexpected and I am delighted by it.
At $40 I feel its a little higher in the "budget conscious" market BUT its one of the most effective and nicest creams I have used for a while. I'd buy again for sure. Anyone purchasing it wouldn't be disappointed and hits the mark for the anti-aging market.
Tips: Don't forget your SPF if you are used to using a day cream with SPF added.
I was very excited to trial this product and I was not disappointed at the first sight of the professional looking packaging. This product brings with it a bold statement to be "an anti ageing skincare product to challenge a laser session" so of course my expectations of great results were high. Upon my first application of the product I found it to be as described: a soft, ultra velvety texture cream. It glides on very well, has a lovely texture and is almost similar to a smooth yoghurt consistency. It has a lovely fresh scent, not too heavy or overwhelming. I find the cream itself to be of a medium consistency. It's not too heavy but would be better suited to more mature skin types and those that are normal to dry, in need of some hydration. It would possibly be too heavy a cream for those with oily skin types. I find it leaves a bit of a shine on the skin after application but after a few minutes it absorbs well enough to be able to apply make up properly and allow it to set properly. A little goes a long way with this cream so no need to apply very much at all. With the 50ml size I would estimate this cream would last at least 3 months or more with a daily application. I find the cream to be very refreshing on my skin. After 4 weeks of daily use im not quite sure I would say it gives the same results as a laser session but my skin certainly looks and feels more refreshed and nourished. It is definitely softer to the touch and as the description of the product says, I would agree that my skin feels re-densified and firmer to the touch. I would recommend this product along with the use of the rest of the range (night cream, serum and eye cream) to get the best results of the product range working in harmony together. Overall a very nice fresh feeling day cream which does deliver noticeable results.
Tips: Use in conjunction with the Revitalift Night Cream for maximum results
The Revitalift Day Cream comes in an red square glass jar with a matte metallic dark grey lid. It looks elegant but it is a bit of a trick to open if you have short fingers and it heavy - you definitely would not want to travel with it despite it only being 50mls and able to go as carry on. The moisturiser is a creamy off-white colour and has a scent somewhere between chemically and fruity. It is reasonably thick but a little goes a long way so you need a light touch scooping it out. I know I shouldn't but I tend to use my fingers for this job! I found this tingled slightly as I put it on - even on the days I hadn't used the glycolic peel pads from the same range. It didn't cause any irritation and the tingle passed quickly but if you have very sensitive skin you may want to trial it first. To do that you will probably have to ask a friend though because one of the best things about this range is that it is available at the supermarket! Even better, it only costs $45 and Countdown at least seem to offer it on mark down occasionally! I have used a Clinique equivalent in a tester and this product is much better for half the price! My skin felt smooth and soft, my make up sits beautifully over it so why the hesitation? This version doesn't have any sunscreen/SPF built in and I really really prefer SPF in my day cream. I did notice that there is an SPF15 version of this so once I finish the trial jar I will go and buy the SPF one to trial!
Tips: This can be used as both a day and a night cream if desired
Nice attractive packaging, jar has instructions on back label as well as on box packaging. The packaging and glass jar look expensive
I was pleasantly surprised, the cream was nicely scented, light and easy to use. A little goes a long way with this product. It went on nicely after using the serum and helped make my skin nice and smooth for my foundation to glide on. I actually found myself not using my makeup as much after using this 4 piece regime.
Tips: A little goes a long way. Be careful as the only difference in the Day Cream Jar and Night Cream Jar is one word on the front - Night.
