I received this product as part of a Beauty Review trial. The moisturiser comes in dark red jars with a gun metal lid, classy packaging which I have come to expect from L'Oreal. I really like the smell of the moisturiser, I think it's smells fresh and clean. It has a light texture and soaked into my skin quickly. My skin felt soft immediately. Luckily my skin is fairly good and I've only got a few fine lines. While I've used the product for a few weeks now, I'm not sure I've seen any improvement in these fine lines. My usual skin regime involves lots of serums and creams so it was nice to have a more simple regime while trialling this product. However, as I haven't really seen any improvement in my skin, I'll probably stick with my usual products.

This comes in an expensive looking red jar, and smells farily pleasant. I'm not a fan of pots that you have to dip your fingers into as its easy to contaminate the rest of the product, it would be good to be a pump or have a spoon so that your are not using your fingers. I have used it daily , and i have to say that i didnt find it moisturising enough for my mature skin, but it did seem to tighten it a bit. Its probably not long enough to say that i had amazing results, and i would like to keep using it for a few months and see what happens to my skin, but as a moisturiser it isn't quite enough for me. I'll reserve my final judgement for a few months down the track and hope for plumper lifted skin!
didnt reduce any of my wrinkles, and after a while my skin started reacting with the cream. i was using this in tandem with the night cream so i dont think it was very effective.
Appealing modern packaging. Product is in a glass jar which makes it feel premium.
Product contains active ingredients, Hyaluronic acid and Pro-xylane. Consisitency appears thick but applies on smoothly, nice to apply.
The product smoothed my skin and felt like a good base for make up. The scent is not too strong but not applealing to me.
Ove time it felt like my skin was smoother and make up applies a little easier so hopefully it is defintely working on my fine lines and wrinkles!
Biggest negative for me of this product was the lack of SPF in it. And while it is a good value moisturiser at the RRP, I would not recommend without an SPF nor use again.
Tips: Product does not contain suncreen so if you're sun smart this will needed to be added into your regime as well.
Major down fall it has no SPF In it, which is a big no no for me. Thicker texture then I am use to but didn't feel greasy just hydrated.
Tips: Used morning after serum
I usually love L'Oréal products but this cream just didn't help my skin at all. I tried it for over a month. My skin didn't feel moisturised at all and if I used a good moisturiser before hand then the laser x3 would clump in my fingers and on my face so it's a no from me with this cream, i did like the scent of it, it isn't over bearing. I do love the laser x3 serum though.
Didn’t like the consistency of this cream. Felt really sticky at first, but my skin felt very dry after a hour, and also felt a burning sensation. Maybe the burning was due to my dry skin, and i just needed something more? This might be good for a oily or normal skin, but not for dry or sensitive skin.
This cream comes in the same dark red glass jar as the night cream, it looks stunning. Unfortunately for me it is a dip your fingers in kind of jar so I used a teaspoon to scoop out the right amount which was less than ¼ of a teaspoon.
The thick white cream has a slight floral scent but it fades after a few minutes. It is easy to rub into your face but I did find it left a sticky residue and then as it dried I noticed it started flaking and almost like it was peeling. Not ideal when you wear it under foundation. I tried using less product, less serum and I couldn’t quite figure out what was going on. I also felt like my skin couldn’t breathe while I was wearing it I also don’t like that this day cream doesn’t have any SPF either. I really wanted it to work and did keep persevering with it because I normally love L’Oréal products. I will say though I didn’t have any break outs which is always good.
After using this for nearly a month (every day then every 2nd day) I can say I didn’t really like it and I would be really hesitant to recommend it, I am hoping maybe I got a bad batch, but for me I wouldn’t repurchase.
I wanted to love this product. However, I appear to have had an unfavourable reaction to it. Initially I felt a stinging feeling and my skin went red for a couple of hours after application. Wondering if this was a coincidence I tried twice more but sadly the same reaction. Unsure why as the other products did not result in this outcome. As a result I can't recommend this product
L'Oreal is my favourite skincare brand, and with good reason, their skin care products usually live up to their claims. I've been fortunate enough to get selected to trial the LASER X 3 range, lucky me! This day cream comes in red glass, but it's quite heavy but still looks great, and it has a similar scent to the serum which is a light rose/floral. The consistency is quite thick for a day cream but it's not too greasy and also applies easily. It is probably my least favourite of the range due to it's heaviness. Apply sparingly especially in this hot weather. Also there is no SPF which is a disappointment as all days creams should have it.
