I'm not yet 40 but I do suffer from dry skin. Personally due to my age I feel this is a little too rich for my skin, so I didn't use it too many times, but when I tried it it glides on easy and you don't need much (just 1 pump) to cover the face. Feels lovely before going to bed like a weekend treat. In a few years time when I'm 40+ I just might get it again, in the meantime my mother is loving it!

Firstly I loved the bottles of the X3 regime. They are packaged in a normal looking box, the box has all the information printed on it about the product claims and ingredients, directions etc. The slender pump bottle doesn't have much printed on it at all. Beautiful red with a silver pump cap. The serum itself has a subtle light scent and the pump top ensures you have just the right amount despensed.
All that lovely-ness aside. I don't know what purpose the serum serves. I understand that it is for resurfacing the skin, but I can't say my skin felt any different. It just adds to the steps in the regime and makes the process feel even more spa like. So in that way it feels a little bit like a treat for you skin. Honestly though, I am sure my skin would be just fine without it.
I figure this helps with absorption of the night/day creams in this range. All I know is if it is responsible for my prominent lip lines and scar through my lip being less noticeable then I bow down to its magical properties. No weird smell, nozzle on bottle doesn't spray you directly in the cornea if you press too hard. Not harsh at all. Give it a try.
Certainly believe that this helped smooth my skin marginally over the trial period. The glass bottle feels quite nice to use too, but the glass colour makes it a bit tricky to see how much is or isn't left.
the fragrance isn't offensive, but I can't say if it improved wrinkles because I don't have many, but the big thing for me was the smoother skin. Absorbs super quick into the skin too!
Smoothed out my skin, gave me the extra hydration I needed. Would definitely use again as a self select product.
Tips: Use morning and night under moisturizer
There's alot of things that get me excited.....Jason Momoa being one, Chocolate an obvious second and strangely enough in third place ....a great serum! Serums are concentrated products which deliver active ingredients deeper into the skin. I found loreal paris revitalift laser x3 serum intetesting. The consistency is lighter than most serums and has a sheen to the product which did confuse me as not many ingredients glow! But after using this serum I found it had a non sticky and light formula. It spread easily and from only 2 pumps covered my face, neck and my chest....all the places aging shows first! I found it hydrating and plumping and for the price tag it is a fantastic serum to suit most people.
Tips: Press serum into a slightly damp face to ensure correct absorbtion.
This serum has a light consistency that spread easily onto my skin and one pump was enough to cover my face and neck, so it is relatively easy to use and the ingredients will remain stable in the pump bottle by not being exposed to air. It has a light subtle fragrance that disappears soon after application and was not bothersome to me. Because I used only one pump per application, the 30ml bottle is economical and will last me at least two to three months. It is reasonably priced for a serum considering how long it lasts, and I found it works just fine and replaced my need to use a primer for my makeup, which was a bonus. I would not say this was as effective as a laser treatment in terms of anti-ageing effect, but I did like the ingredients they included such as hyaluronic and salicylic acid.
Tips: This product can be used instead of a makeup primer and has subtle light-reflecting ingredients to add luminosity.
A good serum face felt smoother more moisture and looked lovely. A huge amount for the price. You can't beat it for that alone.
Of all the L'Oréal products in the regime this was my favourite. It has a silky texture, minimum fragrance and absorbed really well. I used this both morning and night. At night I used it prior to the night cream. My skin has a general overall improvement. It is probably a result of my skin being more hydrated. Not sure it has done much for my wrinkles but that was a long shot
Tips: Make sure you let the serum absorb into the skin before applying other products
Love the bottle this lovely serum/cream comes in. It's a tall and slim rectangular red bottle with a easy to remove square clear plastic lid and an awesome pump action that gives you just the right amount of cream with one pump every time. The cream is so lovely and smells amazing and glides on and doesn't leave an oily residue on your hands or face. Soaked into my skin fast so I didn't have to wait too long to apply the moisturiser. Haven't noticed if my wrinkles have lessened but my skin definitely felt silky smooth after applying. I tried this on my chest area for a few days first before trying on my face as with all the sun over summer it had taken a hammering and was pleased to see that the skin felt alot smoother and softer as well.
Tips: One pump is definitely enough to use on your face.
