I'm not a huge fan of tissue masks in general. This one didnt do anything to sell me on them. I find when doing tissue masks you have to be prepared to sit back and do nothing while they're on. No multitasking. The packaging of this is nice and fits well with the revitalift range. The mask was fairly simple to put on and not too difficult to get into place. The scent was neither great nor bad to me. I have oily skin which is prone to significant breakouts and to be honest this did nothing special for me. My skin felt nice afterwards but no huge results. My skin was a little softer but that was about it for me sadly.

Tips: Be prepared to sit back and relax without distraction.
Received the Revitalift lifting mask to test. Upon opening the package the dual layered mask was drenched in product. It was a process of disecting the layers propely but eventally managed to get the pieces seperated and on my face. Peeled the blue layer off as instructed and placed the white layer on my face as best I could.
Removed the mask after 15 minutes and gently massaged the remainer of the liquid into my skin. Once it dried properly my skin felt tight but 'heavy' if that makes any sense and sticky. Went to sleep and when I got up tge next morning it still felt sticky so I thoroughly washed my face. I did not see a difference after just one mask, but given that the manufacturers recommend using the product for 4 weeks to see visible results one can not expect miracles either.
After washing my face my skin felt softer which was indeed a plus.
One thing I have always wondered about these paper based masks.....wouldn't it be easier and cheaper for the manufacturers to provide you with a pot full of the product and maybe an application brush? This way you can paint on as much as you need without wasting a lot that is left behind on the paper as well as in the packaging and it would be more environmentally friendly. Maybe something you could relay to L'oreal perhaps?
Tips: Be very careful when seperating the layers!
I purposely left the trialing of this product till after a dental procedure when a little bit of pampering was in order.
The easy-tear packaging these sheets come in are excellent. As they should, they open with the minimum of fuss without the need of having to scrounge around for a pair of scissors. Big points first up. Upon opening the package, it is lovely to see the tissue is absolutely covered in serum. There has been no scrimping here - I love that.
Once opened, it took me a few seconds to work out which part went on my face, and which to peel off. The instructions say the blue part peels off, but may have been better communicated that it was the textured part that was to peel off, as when the two pieces were firmly together, both looked blue. Once I worked that out, it applied beautifully and was a nice thin layer as promised which contoured to my skin easily. I loved how closely it fit around the eyes, nose, and mouth so it felt no part of my face was untouched. Again, I was pleased with the sheer amount of serum on the sheet. It allowed for an occasional massage as I awaited the fifteen minutes application. It was soothing and refreshing at the same time.
It peeled off easily, leaving a small amount of serum to massage in. One application isn't enough to be able to tell if it delivers the desired effect of lifting and toning, but it would be interesting to find out what four weeks worth does. I didn't notice any difference to my skin other than a lovely glow. The fine print says to use three times a week which seems too much of an investment to me, so I won't be following through on that, but it was certainly a nice relaxing and pampering end to my day.
Tips: Don't forget your neck once you're massaging the excess serum over your face. There is plenty to go around.
The packaging was definitely in keeping with the L'Oreal brand. Easy to follow instructions, although the print was very small. There was a very mild pleasant fragrance, and once I had managed to unfold the mask and work out which side to put on my face, it was fairly simple to apply. The solution felt cool and soothing on my skin, and I found it quite easy to just chill out on my bed with the mask on for the required time while watching some telly. It washed off nicely, and my skin looked pretty fab afterwards, very refreshed. I'm not sure if my skin has lifted significantly in the few days since I used the mask. I was a bit disconcerted about the amount of waste attached to this product, maybe L'Oreal should consider designing these products to be compostable or reusable, and move away from use of plastics. Overall, a fairly pleasant experience, not 100% convinced about the supposed lifting benefits of the serum and would like to see more sustainability principles factored into the product design. I would probably not buy this product in the future.
Tips: Open the packaging over the bathroom sink, there's quite a bit of serum on this mask and putting it on can leave your hands a bit messy. Also make sure long hair is tied up too, you really wouldn't want to get any hair tangled up in the mask.
The application of the mask was easy, I liked the fact they had colored the peel off part blue, this made it easy to identify which side goes to the face. For the first minute I noticed a slight stinging around the eye area but this didn't last long. The mask stayed in place nicely for the 15 minutes required and contoured to the face nicely. After the 15 minutes was up, I removed the mask and gently massaged the remaining serum into my face as directed. I did notice that there was a LOT of serum still to be absorbed in. My face did appear slightly brighter and it felt refreshed and softer. Obviously it needs to be used over 4 weeks to know it if helps with fine lines etc. What I didn't like was that even after one hour of removing the mask, my face still felt quite sticky. However, I went ahead and applied my makeup as normal and it didn't affect how that went on. Overall though, I think that I would like to know it definitely helps with fine lines after the 4 weeks of usage before I would purchase myself. Thank you for the opportunity to try :)
Single mask 30g comes in familiar L’Oréal Revitalift red packaging. Easy to apply and even though it’s well loaded with serum it stays put. Left on for 15 minutes then removed and smoothed in remaining serum. Can’t say I noticed lifting after just one application but skin felt revived and pampered for the rest of the evening. I will likely repurchase and try to use weekly and hopefully see more definite results
Smells lovely. Lots of product - a bit messy to use. Mask doesn’t fit to face well. Skin felt lovely and moisturised after.
Tips: Cut mask to shape and avoid the eye area.
First time using a sheet Mask and it was Ok! The packaging is easy to understand and looks enticing to buy. I did find it a bit to slimy trying to get it out of the packet and on my face , which I spose is good as there is lots of product on there, but I feel like half of it was left on the part you peel off. I left it on for 20mins, it felt nice on my face and the smell wasn't strong . My skin felt very refreshed after I took it off. Not sure of results as I don't have 3 to try for the week as it says to use for results on the pack. I think I will have to buy some and see as I like the fact they are anti aging and firming and could help my skin.
Tips: Make sure you lie down and use it so it doesn't slip off.
I just used this mask! Its lovely and id buy it again.
Sheet mask doesnt really fit my face, its a bit big and the mustache but went in my mouth a few times. Was veeerryyy moist too. Smells nice too which was a bonus.
Dont have enough to use it for 4 weeks as i only bought one but my face feels a wee bit tighter, looks brighter and man its soft. Loved it. 10/10 would buy again.
It was a pleasure to be selected to trial this sheet mask! Thank you BR.
I found it hard to make up my mind about how I feel about this sheet mask. My opinion on sheet masks isn't that high as they seem to not fit my face very well. The sides of my nose and top of my lip seem to miss out and the eye holes aren't always big enough. This mask was no different.
It's not all negative though! The mask was easy to unfold and apply to my freshly cleansed skin, and the blue side was easy to peel off.
There was plenty of serum to go around and after I removed the mask and massaged the remaining serum into my skin, my face felt tight but in that dry tight type of way. I'm picking that's the witch hazel. I didn't really enjoy that part of it but it soon passed and left my skin feeling better than when I started. There was enough serum left to massage onto the back of my hands and neck area and I can visibly see the difference in the lines on the back of my hands.
At 43, my skin is getting to where it really needs this type of product, and it felt much softer and more moisturised than normal once the serum had dried and I feel like it looked better too.
I enjoyed the fact this mask had no discernible scent and didn't make my skin feel raw or itchy in any way, just a little to tight for my liking.
I also enjoyed the fact this mask didn't slide around my face at all. I had to get up while I was wearing it and it was fine.
All in all, I feel like I wouldn't repurchase this mask. Not because it was bad, but because I find sheet masks to be ill-fitting and really quite expensive for a 1 use product and I couldn't notice any lifting effect.
