L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Youthful Lifting Tissue Mask Reviews

I’m a 40 year old mum of two special needs boys. My youngest aged 8 is currently going through a no sleep phase again so I am living on coffee and naps. Sheet masks are my “me time” my little pamper time. So when I saw the add for this I got so excited, “anti aging firming and refining” etc all sounded so good right now. Once hubby got home I took myself to my bed, put on criminal minds and got down to it. The package describes a Japanese cotton mask, I love J and K beauty so this was already a plus. I pulled out the mask and argh, it had the film on the mask. I hate these on sheet masks and this one was no acception, it made applying the mask annoying as when I pulled it off, it pulled the mask and stuck it together so I had to unstick it all. I spread the mask out over my face and it really did seem to melt into my features, it really did “act like a second skin”. It had plenty of product so I could do what I always do and squeeze the packet out onto my décolletage area, I rubbed the rest into my skin. After my hands had dried they felt like silk so I had high hopes for this mask. 15 minutes later the criminal minds team had found more victims and my timer went off, so I hit the pause button and in masked. It took a bit to rub the rest into my skin and ended up rubbing it down my arms aswell there was so much. The result, silky smoothe skin, that looks fantastic. Wow I’m in love. Reading the instructions it recommends to do this three times a week for four weeks. That seems a bit much to me as I thought sheet masks should only be done once a week. As I was only given one mask I can’t judge on long term results. However right now my skin looks and feels amazing, I will definitely be buying this one again.

I really enjoyed using this mask, I am not usually a fan of sheet masks as I think they feel slimy but this one had a nice fabric texture. The application was simple and the mask had a pleasant faint smell. When you take it off you are supposed to let the remaining serum soak in, mine didn’t and I had to wipe some of it off which was a bit off putting. I didn’t notice any immediate difference, but after the sleeping with it on I did wake to nice smooth skin and some of the finer lines were reduced.

Can a tissue mask make you feel youthful? Well, it might not turn back the clock, but it can sure make you feel good!

Pros: 1 - This mask is easy to use. 2 - You can easily fit this in a bag for a relaxing treat on a night away. 3 - Generous size - it covers your face to the hairline 4 - Very generous amount of serum within the sachet. 5 - Great results in a short amount of time.

Cons. 1 - The single-use concept is a little wasteful 2 - The product is a bit messy 3 - Immediately after use my skin felt a little tacky, but this went away after I applied my moisturiser.

While wearing the mask I felt a gentle sensation - it wasn't really a tingle, or anything untoward, it was just the mask ingredients doing their thing I guess. After use my skin felt tight (in a good way) and everything seemed plumper somehow. After applying my usual moisturiser I was left with incredibly hydrated, dewy skin, that definitely looked better than before I'd used the mask.

I would like to try this again when they are released, and use them twice a week for a couple of weeks to see the cumulative effect!

Like most sheet masks this is easy to use. It might be a little tricky for some to unpeel (I'm thinking of my friend with arthritis) but the removable backing does make it much easy to unfold than other masks.

It positions easily and doesn't move around once on, but it remains pliable, so you could reposition at any time during use.

The serum is literally dripping from the mask - you cant call L'Oreal stingy!

I found the effects noticable after just a few minutes, I could feel my skin tightening. After 20 minutes I removed the mask and wiped off the excess product. If I'd been using it at night I would have left the product to soak in over night.

My skin felt firmer and I think my fine lines looked less line-y. Witchcraft!

I would highly recommend this mask to anyone that could do with a facial, or just wants to feel a bit better in their skin!

I will definitely be purchasing this mask when it is released to the stores. As the packaging is so bright it will he easy to find it on the shelves. There are very clear instructions on the reverse that were very easy to follow. On opening the packet I noticed the mask was full of liquid. I had a little trouble deciding which side was "blue", but figured it out after a few seconds. Application was very simple and once the mask was on it adhered to my skin so well it was like a second skin. I actually got distracted and kept the mask on for longer than the recommended 15 minutes. (I think the reason I did not notice the time was due to the fact it adhered to my skin so well that I had forgotten I was wearing it.) I noticed that 25 minutes had gone by when the mask started to get a little warm. After removing the mask I massaged the serum into my skin. My skin felt so light and fresh. I used the mask not long before bed. When I woke the next morning I noticed that my eyes were less puffy. My skin certainly felt smooth and hydrated. There was also plenty of serum left in the packaging and on the blue sheet, so I have resealed the packaging and plan to use this as a mini-mask in a couple of days. I cannot wait for this to become available in store.

Its been a long busy day rushing from place to place so I was really looking forward to trying this mask. The mask has a delicious fresh fragrance and although I hadn't chilled it it was lovely and cooling. Taking off the outer layer left the delicate layer underneath which fit into all the right places on my face. After the magic 15mins I removed the mask and massaged the remaining serum in. There was a lot but it soaked in well after about 10mins. My skin felt fresh and plump after the mask with almost a little tingle. Can't wait to get some more of these to use regularly!

So this was a fun in lots of ways mask to try, firstly the mask is pretty well covered in serum so makes for a slightly slippery experience unfolded and applying the mask (I did have a few drips land on my t- shirt, but that just shows they didn't skimp on serum so you know your getting your monies worth!), secondly it would appear I have bigger eyes than most lol as I found the eye holes a little small for me and my eye lashes (top and bottom) would touch the mask every time I blinked. In saying that it actually didn't annoy me as I felt quiet relaxed once I had placed the mask over my whole face and lay down on the couch to rest and allowed it to do it's thing. After my 15 minutes was up and it was time to remove the mask, I was really happy that there was still a good thin layer of serum on my face to gentle massage in and I actually could spread it around my neck and décolleté area as well.(any bit helps right!)

Later the same night as using the mask I was happy to see if felt and looked nourished and happy then over the week I noticed it stayed soft and healthy and still is. I found my make up went on easy after using the mask and I just felt happy when I looked in the mirror so I will definitively be splurging on this mask again.

Okay, I'm pretty experienced with sheet masks. I always have at least 8 on rotation. They're a pivotal part of my wellbeing routine. I'm so busy that even if all I do is put on a sheet mask while I'm cooking dinner, then I've done something good for myself.

My masks of choice are usually Korean, although I'm a fan of the Loreal ones as well. So I went into this review not expecting something super amazing. Boy, was I wrong!

The mask was lovely and juicy (no surprise). The eye holes didn't fit as well as I thought they would, but to be fair, I have quite a big face (let's me honest). I left it on for 15 minutes and removed it. My skin looked as I would expect. It wasn't until I was getting ready for bed around an hour later that I looked in the mirror and did a double take. I put on the second light in the bathroom. My skin looked smoother and brighter, and yes, hydrated.

When I woke up the next morning, my skin was glowing. The mask was the only thing I had changed in my routine. I can't explain it. There's something magic in that packet and I need more of it.

My verdict? I'll be buying these in bulk! Please Loreal, can you sell by the box????

I love using tissue masks however do worry about the impact they have on the environment as they contain plastic. That being said, this particular product was so delicious! The tissue mask itself was fairly easy to apply and smooth down although I generally have a large face and always find the eye area difficult to fit, not a fault of this product at all. There was so much product load that I was able to squeeze it onto other areas of my body such as hands neck and decolletage for an even more luxury treatment. My skin had no negative reaction and I could visually notice the hydration. I left the mask on, which is quite cool at first, for 15-20mins and then massaged the left over product in. It felt so lovely and refreshed afterwards! Highly recommend!

I was excited to try the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Youthful Lifting Tissue Mask, because at my stage in life a little lifting is in order.

The pack is a stylish red foil, it looks rather luxurious. Inside is a tissue mask with a blue backing - and it's well-soaked in serum.

Applying was fiddly and I abandoned the instructions which had me putting it on my face then peeling away the blue outer, as when I tried the whole lot came off or moved on my face making it difficult to rearrange. Once I peeled and applied the mask went on easily.

The fit? On my smaller face it was pretty good - a little small around the nose and eyes, which makes me wonder how it would go on someone with bigger features.

I kept the mask on for just over 20 minutes and noticed during this time my skin sucked up a lot of the serum. It was also very cooling on the skin, which was lovely as it was a very hot night.

Once removed my skin looked clear, plumped and my large pores did appear visibly smaller. I don't know that I looked 'lifted', but I did look tighter. (I can't speak to fine lines and wrinkles appearing smaller as this was a once-off treatment, and the pack says it needs to happen regularly over the course of four weeks to see any results in the fine lines and wrinkles department.)

The next day my skin was still looking nice - not so tight in the pores, but definitely glowy. Next time (when I pick it up at the supermarket) I'll use it at the start of the day as I'd love to show my fresh-looking skin to the world.

Would I use it again and recommend it? Yes. I've had a run of sheet masks not doing a heck of a lot, and this one definitely did make my skin look better/glowier/tighter, which is a bonus when you're in your 40s.
