Thanks so much BR for giving me the opportunity to be part of this amazing trial. I have blue eyes so always wear eyeliner when I want my eyes to really pop.
It is a pen like eyeliner which is easy to hold thanks to it's grip zone and glides on with no tugging. It took me a few goes to get used to using it as I usually use gel liner applied with a small brush. It has a great felt like tip which gives precise lines, just have a little play around and adjust pressure accordingly and you can change the thickness.
It takes a few minutes to dry down completely. It is highly pigmented, definitely an intense black. It stays put for a good amount of time but by the end of the day it does fade a little bit.
I'm interested to see if it starts to dry out as the cap on mine doesn't seem to click on very securely. I put it in my makeup bag and the cap fell off so be careful of that.
I do think it is a nice eyeliner but I still prefer using my gel liner. That lasts brilliantly and doesn't budge at all. I probably would not purchase this but I have enjoyed using it.
Weeee, this beauty has teeny tiny 0.4mm tip meaning you get a sharp, crisp line and lots of precision. I did have to go find another mirror to really play with it - this product demands precision and a sharp eye. It delivers a pencil-thin shot of darkest black with minimal bleeding. It did take a wee moment to dry, but nothing too drastic and once set it stuck!
Those familiar with calligraphy (and those who like to experiment) can also play with the angles of the brush - I managed to get a pretty sweet cat's eye flick going just by using the eyeliner a little differently and applying a different angle and pressure. I'll be watching with interest as to how the tip holds up after a few weeks of every day use - I've had other brush type eyeliners fluff and disintegrate and I haven't had the time with this yet to see how it lasts.
The pencil grip means no slipping, and naturally makes you hold the eyeliner with a perfect pencil grip - which adds to the precision.
The line was a liiiiiiiittle too thin for me personally for day to day use, but I appreciate the accuracy and precision it would offer and I look forward to using it when I 'glam up' for Christmas parties and the like.
Tips: Adjust the angle of how you hold the eyeliner to play with different thicknesses and lines.
