I was included in the pre release trial for this new product. On opening the product, I was a bit disappointed as the box looks like any other L’Oréal Day cream and its hard to differ what new and improved about this formula. It states it is a ‘wrinkle expert’ with 35+ collagen (which I thought was a collagen level, until I read the back of the box and realised it was stating age), but as it mentions it 1.Smoothes wrinkles, 2. Improves firmness and 3. Hydrates 24hr , this clarifies it is a product suited to me. One thing I was unsure in the box was under clinically proven results, -28% of women trialled had wrinkles appear reduced..I wasn’t sure if this was a great result to print on the box. On opening the decent sized (50ml) tub, I noticed the consistency was quite thick, a lot different to the daily moisturiser I have been using for the past 15 years. On applying this to my skin though this thickish cream was quickly absorbed. It has a pleasant smell and leaves my skin feeling very well moisturised. I have now been applying this cream everyday for the past three weeks. I did have a wee break out in the first week, maybe due to the change in product but this cleared quickly. Three weeks later, my skin feels smoother and well moisturised. I now feel like my previous moisturiser was not up to standard at all. I have received several comments in the last week how my skin looks very healthy so even though I struggle to see it looking closely in the mirror, this cream must have made a difference. I am now over halfway through my tub (which are great, as with this tubs you can get every last bit of product out) and will be buying a replacement of this product as I am very happy with how this is working.

The anti-wrinkle hydrating day cream for contains Collagen to help strengthen the skin’s cushion, for smoother, plumper skin. It visibly reduces first signs of ageing including fine lines, elasticity loss and dryness.
Reviews
The cream promotes hydration, firmness and smoothing of wrinkles. I liked that the product was targeted and designed for my age and skin care needs, and I was keen to use it for these reasons.
It is packaged in a round jar with plastic lid. The cream is white, with a silky almost whipped feel. It glides on and feels luxurious on the skin. It has a faint soft feminine scent. I love how it felt when applied to freshly cleansed skin, it feels light but you also feel that it has covered your skin. I love how soft it felt to the touch and how easy it was to smooth. I have been using the product daily for almost 4 weeks and there is still more than half the jar left. For a daily product, I love that a little can go a long way. It absorbs over a minute or so, and you can easily apply make up afterwards.
I was worried the cream might cause breakouts because it is on the thicker side, and with my skin this tends to be a concern when using new products, but I'm happy this wasn't the case! I noticed my skin was quite hydrated and smooth looking, definitely noticed these right away. I felt my face was more plump, as I do struggle with dehydration.
For me, my fine lines are mostly limited to my under eye area, and as this is a face cream, I didn't apply it in that area. So this didn't really apply to me, but I was super impressed with the smoothness and hydration so I'd be willing to keep this is my rotation and see how fine lines react as they creep up.
I'd recommend this product to anyone who has dehydrated skin and someone who loves applying cream (it such a treat to apply!). My only wish is that the product had sunscreen, but I suppose you can't always have sunscreen in certain skin products.
Tips: A little goes a long way, dip your ring finger into the jar and dot around your face then rub into skin!
Really glad that I got to trial this pre release L’Oréal wrinkle expert Day cream. This moisturizing face cream comes in a 50ml jar and contains collagen to help strengthen skin’s cushion for smoother plumper looking skin. It has a silky smooth texture with a really soft smell and glides on really easily on the skin. It absorbs really well and doesn’t leave a greasy feel. My skin is dry and sensitive and after a week of daily use I felt my skin was well hydrated and yes it felt a lot smoother without giving me any breakouts. For me this worked really well as a base for my makeup. The only issue for me is that for a Day Cream I cannot use this on its own as it has no SPF so have to apply that after moisturizing if going without makeup. I didn’t really see any difference with wrinkles I have very fine lines near my forehead and this didn’t really do anything for that. Overall another good product from L’Oréal and I will buy this again as it did leave my skin feeling soft and smooth and well hydrated. Thank you BR for allowing me to trial this.
Tips: Need to use SPF when going out.
The L'Oreal Wrinkle Expert 35+ Anti Wrinkle Hydrating Day Creme is a marvelous product. It comes in a 50ml container and is suggested for an age group from 35 to 45. It promises to smooth wrinkles, improve firmness and hydrate for 24 hours. After testing it for approx. 4 weeks, I can definitely feel an improvement to my very dry skin. I normally use moisturising day creme first thing in the morning, and by early afternoon I can feel the effect easing. With the L'Oreal product my skin felt smoother, plumper and fresher. The wrinkles that I have seem to be less prominent. The texture is described as comfortable and soft, I would maybe use the words thick and creamy. After 4 weeks, I used about half a jar, so not very economical, I thought. Also, it would be great to have some SPF integrated in the product.
Tips: Use a sunblock on top to give you SPF protection.
I had the pleasure of trailing the lovely anti aging day cream. The packaging is typical for L'Oréal with the box and little glass jar. Looks lovely with clear glass and white lid. The cream is lightly perfumed and silky. The perfume is slightly floral but not overpowering and doesn't last long. The cream goes on smoothly and my skin soaked up all its goodness relatively quickly. With a couple of days I noticed my dry patches had disappeared and my skin felt hydrated and smooth. The skin under my eyes before using the cream had a tendency to be crepey but this improved within a week and the very fine lines appeared to have improved. The unevenness has also improved and the dark patches have diminished. I am loving this product and will definitely continue to use it.
Tips: If you are going to wear makeup, let the product "sink" in for at least 10mins otherwise I found my foundation just sat on top then slid off.
I was very excited to review this product because I along with a few others got to secretly test before anyone else on beauty review. I’ve been using this product every morning and most nights for the past few weeks and I’ve noticed that my skin is more hydrated. After applying the cream my skin feels firmer and fresh. It has a great fragrance and applying after my shower makes me feel amazing. I think it has helped the appearance of my skin. I usually apply first thing in the morning before I do anything to give the product a chance to soak in before applying my daily makeup. My makeup looks great over the top so perfect moisturiser. Over all I’m very happy and would use again in a heartbeat.
Tips: It’s very refreshing for night time use too.
I was nervous about using this product. By using it was I finally admitting I have wrinkles? Would everyone now know? Was my skin suddenly the old witch from snow white?
So imagine my surprise when I actually liked it and now find myself needing to soon buy some. A whole new ball game.
It comes in a small round container. Glass bottom and plastic top. It is easy to use (although I am now super lazy and wish everything came in pumps - what?!?!? I have to OPEN things now??!?!?! - I have probably been watching too much of the crown and now think I am the queen of England).
The product doesn't really have a smell. Nothing floral or over powering - great for those of you who aren't into strong smelling things. It glides on easily and I found a small amount went a long way.
I used this for a few weeks and my skin feels plumper. I was trying to think of a better word but seriously that seems to be what fits best here. Especially round my eyes, its like my skin has been given a small boost. I still have wrinkles guys, but they aren't deep cracks that can be seen from the moon. They seem less harsh. This is huge for me, not only did I just admit I have wrinkles, I also now find this a part of my daily routine. I like this moisturiser. It has done things to my skin.
I only use it at night though because I find it makes my skin a little dewy or greasy. Not a fan of that. But it is also humid and hot up here so it could also be the weather. I found by just putting it on at night I didn't look like a grease monster from a near by swamp. I am also happy to put up with a little dew for a product that seems to be working!
Happily, this product also falls into the - yes I can afford you and food. You don't need to break the bank and could probably eat a pizza as well. Because if you can't beat the grease - join it? It isn't that bad I should say. Just enough for me to be aware of it and I like a nice non shiny face during the day. If it was too much I wouldn't be a fan.
Tips: Try it at night if you also do not like any shine on your face during the day and a little goes a long way!
I have just finished my first jar of this product and its safe to say I will be repurchasing as its one of the most affordable anti-wrinkle creams on the market.
This cream comes in a jar, while I find a tube is a bit cleaner, it doesnt bother me too much, its lightly scented but doesnt cause me any irritations.
I use this every morning and apply my makeup soon after, it absorbs really nicely, combats my dryness while not making my skin oily or greasy. Its a bit soon to say if its anti-wrinkle claims are true but I will update in the future.
Tips: You can pick this up for as little as $15 from Postie and $18 from The Warehouse
Although I don't have a lot of wrinkles I was excited to try this product. The package has good info on it that is easy to read. Packaging is nice and simple and isn't over the top. The cream itself has a pleasant scent while not overpowering and is thick, creamy with a silky texture. My skin felt hydrated throughout the day without being oily which I find can be a problem with some creams. I have noticed my skin is smoother with almost all dry patches gone. Foundation/BB cream goes on and looks a lot nicer due to the smoother skin. I have found the wrinkles I do have are minimized. I have one main one that makes me look like I am frowning all the time. This has minimized considerably which I am pleased with. I think the price for the size and the length of time it will last is great. I would be keen to see what differences there are using all products in this range together.
Tips: A little goes a long way
This collagen based anti-aging cream promises to leave your skin feeling super hydrated, youthful looking and to improve the appearance of fine lines.
A little goes a long way with this product which is always a bonus. It goes on smoothly and is non-greasy. Instantly your skin does feel hydrated and once it dries, your skin feels soft.
I didn't notice any great difference to the fine lines around my eyes after using it for 30days so I was a little disappointed with that. My skin tone with it being summer goes quite freckled despite using SPF makeup products and this product didn't change my skin tone.
While the smell of the product is quite strong, it quickly disappears once it dries on your skin.
I don't know if I'd pay what I'm guessing the price range will be for this product just to use it again, but I will definitely be finishing the trial pot.
