I was thrilled to be chosen to participate in this trial as L'Oreal produce such excellent products - and at 55+ here was my opportunity. I have been applying this Anti-Wrinkle Restoring Cream every morning to my face and neck and must admit that my face especially is feeling and looking more hydrated and refreshed, and the dreaded crows feet are certainly looking reduced and more plumped - making them less noticeable. My whole face overall is definitely more rehydrated and softer to touch and certainly feels less tight, making applying foundation a whole lot easier. With all these attributes its non-greasy which is also a bonus, it just sinks into the skin and does its job. It's easy to apply using circular motions, and a small amount goes a long way.

L'Oreal Paris Wrinkle Expert 55+ Reviews
The anti-wrinkle restoring day cream contains Calcium to strengthen thinning skin and improve smoothness for a more youthful appearance. It visibly reduces signs of ageing including wrinkles, sagging contours and density loss.
Reviews
Tips: Best applied to a slightly warm face and warmed hands.
Its been a while since I wrote a review and was very excited to try a new moisturiser. As I have gotten older, I have noticed more lines and wrinkles on my face. I have always like Loreal so it was great to see a new Loreal product. I liked the packaging, very simple, and of course the fact that it contained calcium. Got to be worth a try I thought. This product is for the over 55 year olds so was interested to see if it would make a difference to my skin. Has a lovely fresh smell, not too overpowering which is nice for those who have sensitive noses. Very rich and creamy and goes on smoothly. I have used this every morning and have noticed that my face looks more plump on my cheek areas and is definately not so dry. Make up goes on very easily and doesn't clog in any areas. My skin feels very smooth and I think actually looks more healthy. I like the fact that you can buy this when you do your shopping at the supermarket and it is a very good price. I will definately be buying a new jar once this one has finished.
Tips: With my old moisturisers I found I was using too much but with this one, you only need a little bit, it goes a long way and blends in very well.
This product comes in the distinctive L'Oreal packaging, white container in a not too fancy but not plain cardboard box with a touch of class description on the outer - a mix of gold and silver writing offset against a not stark white but ever so very pale lilac box with a bit of purple to round it off. Receiving this 'surprise' secret sample brought home to me my ageing skin...the big 55+ written in the bottom right corner of the box is a reminder that. The product itself is an unscented creamy and non greasy texture.....the box says the texture is a rich and non greasy cream - yes, definitely agree with this. It is a lovely cream, less heavy than some of their other moisturising products that I have used. It says ' triple action - replumps wrinkles, improves elasticity, rehydrates and restores' - the fine lines around my eyes do appear reduced. As for the deeper wrinkles, not sure I could say the same. My skin certainly feels firmer though and while I don't have dry skin, I do feel that it felt nourished and moisturised. Overall, it's a good product and one I would use again. I've only been using it for three and a half weeks so I'm going to keep using it and see if there is any further reduction of my more obvious wrinkles. At this price, it's a steal and I would definitely be using this again. Thanks Beautyreview for the opportunity to trial this product.
Tips: I apply a serum beforehand. A little of this cream goes a long way and I apply to the 'wrinkle' areas first and pat round gently.
This cream has a fresh, light, non greasy feel when applied. I like the slight hint of a perfume and I like it as a day moisturizer but being 60+ I think it would take along time to iron out all my wrinkles.
I was really please to trial the L'Oreal Wrinkle Skin Expert as with my mature skin I am always looking for products that improve my aging skin. The price at $20 and avaliability at the Warehouse and grocery shops is great as easy to find and not hard on the budget. The product comes in a white box with basic L'oreal signature print in gold. Inside is a pottle in a clear container and creamy white lid. The cream is white and has a really faint but pleasant scent. The cream is designed to apply every morning on cleansed skin.It is really easy to apply and absorbs straight into my skin. I have used every morning for 3 weeks and I find my skin has improved in softness and has a slight glow which gives a very healthy impact.I had a couple of comments to how well I look so I do believe it is the fresher skin that gives a healthy glow. I have found the product does a really light peel of old skin if I give my face a light massage which is another reason my skin looks so much clearer.I don't fully believe the claim of reducing wrinkes but with my skin softer and a slight glow I believe it reduces the appearance and I am happy with that.I am looking forward to seeing the reports on the other products in this range as I will certainly be looking to purchase when this come on the market.
Tips: Prior to cleaning at night give a light massage on your face and cream seems to exfoliate.
I am trialling the ‘Wrinkle Expert - Anti-Wrinkle Restoring Cream’ by L’Oreal. This cream is targeted for more mature users - 55+. The packaging is quite plain, simple but attractive. There are no ingredients on the label which is quite unusual but maybe this is because it’s a trial product which hasn’t yet been released. A ‘use by date’ is provided on the label. The moisturiser comes in a transparent glass jar with a clean white lid. Unfortunately dipping your fingers into the jar reduces the efficacy of the ingredients making it less hygienic than tube packaging. I feel that I’m contaminating the ingredients every time I dip my fingers in so I needed to use a spatula to maintain hygiene of the product. The moisturiser has no fragrance to it which appealed to me as I prefer to leave that to whatever perfume I’m wearing that day. However, it does have a slightly fresh clean smell to it at first, which isn’t at all overpowering and it doesn’t linger. The product has a nice rich texture, it's a bit thicker than normal moisturiser. When applied, it feels luxurious and very creamy. Even though the consistency feels quite thick, the cream absorbs quickly and left my skin hydrated and smooth. It was very soothing on my areas of dry skin. A little goes a long way so I only use a small dab. I had no trouble getting it to absorb into my skin and I was left with no stickiness or any greasy residue (which is ideal now that the warmer summer months are here). After use I did notice that my face looked smoother and more plump and my skin tone was a little more even and overall less tired looking. I loved the consistency of this cream and after use my skin felt nourished and looked dewy. I found that its smooth finish worked well as a makeup base, and it left my skin comfortably hydrated all day. I found that my foundation lasted all day when I used this first and on the days I don't wear foundation, the moisturiser left me with a lovely glow, but not too shiny or greasy looking. Because the product absorbs quickly it leaves little down time when waiting to apply makeup over the top. The biggest down side for me is that there is no broad spectrum protection in the product, which means, if I'm going outside, I have to use more than one product. My skin is a combination of dry/normal with a slightly oily centre panel. This day cream provided the perfect qualities for my normal/combination skin type. Nourishing and fast absorbing, it left my skin softer, suppler, healthier looking and most importantly for me, well moisturised from the morning when I first applied it, to the evening. I use it every morning and have noticed that my skin seems clearer, more radiant and in the time I’ve used it the lines appear to have softened and reduced by a small amount. I think I will need to use it for a while longer to see any serious anti wrinkle effect.
Tips: Apply when skin is slightly damp after cleansing and toning. Damp skin acts like a sponge and moisturiser is quickly absorbed.
L'OREAL wrinkle expert anti wrinkle restoring cream day (55+). First of all I love the packaging, crisp white, silver and purple with touch of gold. Simple and effective. I aLso love that the box fits around the container. There is nothing worse than buying something in a box and finding its half the size of the box when you open it. So onto the product. First the smell test...nice perfume smell but not overpowering. In fact my daughter was kissing me good night and said Mum you smell nice what is it. I told her and she said it smells yum. Yes I know it says day product but I was feeling a bit dry so had put some on. A 10 cent dab covers you face and neck. It is smooth, rich and luxurious and provides a feeling of coolness on your skin. It also absorbs easily into skin. Since starting using this product I have had numerous comments on my face looking fresh and lovely and this is only change in my routine. This product will certainly be a favourite of mine.
Tips: Don't need a lot and make sure you use it on your neck
Lovely cream, flowed on easily. Saw an improvement in my skin, it was clearer, softer. Fewer wrinkles visible. My skin had been had been dryish but no more. Also looked plumper. I use foundation in cool weather and BB cream on top,no problems.
Tips: There was some sloughing off of surface layer, I use a light exfoliant to refresh my skin
I have loved reviewing this L'Oreal day cream, I usually avoid day creams as they tend to make my makeup slide however this, used sparingly in the morning, gave a beautiful base for my day face. I have to be honest, I used it as a night cream as well therefore I feel that my skin's texture has seen a significant improvement during the trial period. Very subtle but pleasant fragrance. All in all, a great product that I will certain be buying and continuing to use. Thank you so much for the chance to try this new product.
Product was packaged really well in a glass jar with an easy to remove lid. On first application I felt the viscosity of the cream was perhaps a little too thick but was amazed at how quickly my skin had absorbed the moisturiser leaving the skin very soft and not at all sticky or greasy. After two weeks there is a visible difference in the very fine lines which are definitely rehydrating and a little less visible. I will be using this moisturiser again, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a little boost as it has left my skin feeling beautiful and silky. I believe the difference is visible, albeit it slight (it has only been about two weeks).
