Lovely thick cream which felt great on my skin and didn't feel heavy or leave my face greasy. As someone who is grieving the loss of a husband, my tears are frequent and the earea around my eyes has aged considerably in 8 months. The cream did seem to visibly tighten the area, although it did say not to use it around the eyes! However, as this was my biggest area of concern I went against the instructions and don't have any regrets. I would be keen though to try a targeted eye cream and night cream in the range to see if there were more noticeable differences. All in al I was happy with the product and happy to continue using.

L'Oreal Paris Wrinkle Expert 55+ Reviews
The anti-wrinkle restoring day cream contains Calcium to strengthen thinning skin and improve smoothness for a more youthful appearance. It visibly reduces signs of ageing including wrinkles, sagging contours and density loss.

Tips: Leave for 5 minutes before applying make up
I bought this for my mum, half expecting it to be a marketing hype but not only did she rave about the effects of this, I noticed the difference in her skin. We both noticed different things though, she was more focused on her fine lines disappearing but I noticed an overall more youthful glow, while some of the deeper lines like her laugh lines, were softened.
The best thing about this was it was a product that she could keep buying for herself without breaking the bank, and its fairly easy to access.
Tips: This is likely the kind of product where you may need to try the similar variants to find the right one for your skin and stage in life etc.
..This happened to be on special so I took no note of the 55+ and brought it anyway. For the $15 I paid I'm not mad at it. A richer style cream and a nice smell I noted a glow after using.
I was really please to trial the L'Oreal Wrinkle Skin Expert as with my mature skin I am always looking for products that improve my aging skin. The price at $20 and avaliability at the Warehouse and grocery shops is great as easy to find and not hard on the budget. The product comes in a white box with basic L'oreal signature print in gold. Inside is a pottle in a clear container and creamy white lid. The cream is white and has a really faint but pleasant scent. The cream is designed to apply every morning on cleansed skin.It is really easy to apply and absorbs straight into my skin. I have used every morning for 3 weeks and I find my skin has improved in softness and has a slight glow which gives a very healthy impact.I had a couple of comments to how well I look so I do believe it is the fresher skin that gives a healthy glow. I have found the product does a really light peel of old skin if I give my face a light massage which is another reason my skin looks so much clearer.I don't fully believe the claim of reducing wrinkes but with my skin softer and a slight glow I believe it reduces the appearance and I am happy with that.I am looking forward to seeing the reports on the other products in this range as I will certainly be looking to purchase when this come on the market.
Tips: Prior to cleaning at night give a light massage on your face and cream seems to exfoliate.
Packaging is semi attractive, a glass jar with a screw top lid nice and basic, I do like glass it’s clean.
This cream is very light and doesn’t feel heavy enough in texture for my dry skin, it comes with a light fragrance reminds me of lilies semi pleasant a little cheep dare I say it, first sniff was like oh ok lets see if this is worth trying.
I stuck with my usual skin care routine and used this in place of my moisturiser (my more expensive one) nothing compares to it ha ha well so I thought
It took my skin a few days to get into the swing of this new product that I do use quite generously (a small broad bean size), I was double dipping the joys of dry thirsty skin, I gently smooth all over my face and neck followed by a gentle pat to push products in ha ha a habit I’ve gotten into and it’s worth trying I even wipe my hands on the back of my neck a very neglected area. Anyhow it soaked nicely in without leaving me shiny or feeling tacky. Ive been left moisturised all day with no dry patches, I can even wipe my face with a wet cloth ( when I’m working in dirt) and I just top up with sunscreen no need to remonstrance that’s a biggie for me.
I have noticed an improvement I’m definitely more hydrated all day and with that I can see a small improvement in my smaller lines. Softer skin that doesn’t slurp up the next product I use the old faithful sunscreen as this moisturiser doesn’t contain any and I’m fine with that as I don’t mind sticking extra sun cream on and BB or foundation sits nicely on top even powder glides on.
As the weeks have gone on a definite improvement to the point I will be saying cherrio to my more experience cream and pop this little beauty in its place
Will I purchase this for sure some of us old girls need a helping hand. I’m liking this very much who says you can’t mix and match brands. Not only will I save my skin it will save some dollars.
Tips: Give this cream a good pat on your skin to push it in, cleanse serum cream follow with sunscreen I didn't use the same range and got a great result.
I'm really enjoying skin care products now I'm in my 50s. I've gone from religiously sticking to the same moisturiser to experimenting and enjoying so many incredible products. What I've found is that when it comes to skin care, you very much get what you pay for, so I'm not going to lie - my expectations for a $20 cream were low.
Well.
I stand corrected like the very-wrong-skincare-snob I am.
The packaging is standard L'oreal, it doesn't feel cheap. I don't actually mind pottles, I use a wee spatula so its not a drama for me.
Ok having '55+' smeared across the front was a bit, 'this bathroom belongs to someone OLD', but then again, at least I'll be able to find it on the supermarket shelf!
The cream itself is light and non greasy, but it still feels incredibly rich and hydrating. I definitely noticed an immediate hydration. I love that its not overpoweringly scented too.
So I've been using it for a month and my skin looks and feels hydrated, plump and smooth. Its soft to touch and looks a lot less sallow.
Is it botox in a tub? No. Do I want it to be? No. If a $20 cream can give soft, supple and younger looking skin - I'm very happy!
Definitely look out for this one!
Really lovely cream. It is not too heavy and feels beautiful on my skin. The texture is silky and light but also feels as though my skin is being nourished especially if I put a bit extra on beforeIi go to bed. I have really noticed a difference to the lines around my eyes and lips. I would recommend this product and is really good value at it's retail price.
